From the owner to the customer service ladies, to the scheduler to the installer, we never felt like our questions and needs were not top priority. We had been buying 5 gal alkaline water jugs from the grocery store. I cannot lift those heavy jugs so my husband was having to make a special trip to the store every week. I had read about how hard water can shorten lives of major appliances, affect how well your laundry is cleaned, and affect how your skin feels, I started looking for a system. It is so confusing! What you get with this one and that. I felt overwhelmed. TN Water & Air Tech walked me through it. This company will also come and service your system annually (to switch our your alkaline filter and check on whole house system). At every step, I was met with "don't hesitate to call us" and "take your time and let me know how I can help". Thumbs up!

Second we purchased a warranty for them to do a yearly inspection that will cost 235.00 a year! Plus if you don't let them come inspect the system your warranty is null and void! Sounds like they have a good scam going! The gentleman that installed the system stated the first year they would come and check on the system for free! Integrity means to this company!

To start, the plumber was friendly enough, but within minutes of arriving, he pivoted straight into trying to sell me a $5,000 water softener system. I don't know when every service call turns into a retail sales pitch, but it's exhausting. I declined and asked to stick to the actual issue. From there, things got worse. Before even inspecting the cartridge or looking behind the wall, he began suggesting a much more invasive (and expensive) solution involving cutting an access panel into my bedroom wall and potentially replacing surrounding plumbing. Again, this was all before any real attempt to diagnose the problem. When I pushed back and said I just wanted the cartridge replaced, I was quoted around $500. High, but fine. Then, after about 30 seconds of trying, he claimed the faucet "wouldn't come off" and immediately went back to pushing the wall-cutting option. I decided to hold off and take a look myself after he left. The faucet was stuck, sure--but with a Dremel, I had it off in under two minutes. A quick trip to Lowe's, about $150 in parts, and an hour of work later, everything is fixed. No leaks, no wall damage, no unnecessary upsell. End result: I saved somewhere between $350 and $1,000, depending on which route they were trying to steer me toward. I don't expect miracles, but I do expect an honest attempt to fix the actual problem before jumping to the most expensive option. This felt far more like a sales call than a service call. Would not use again.

Install was fine and finance options were great. HOWEVER... Frustrated with their customer support…read moresystem when it comes to annual care or maintenance. They use an 'intelligent digital assistant' (A.I.) named "Finley" for all their scheduling and even direct customer interactions. The texts are real enough and quite intuitive but there is ZERO follow thru on any of what the system tells you. Appointments windows are committed but the call back from human staff never happened (x3) and text quotes for service we asked for multiple times (x2) never came through. It's like they set up this answering service and let it run on its own 24/7 automation and forget it's even there making commitments to customers and not following through. Disappointed and extremely frustrating. Aqua Clear, please designate someone, ANYONE, to follow up on these interactions so you don't lose customers over your lack of people to just answer a phone call or text. If you've grown to a point that you're too busy to talk to me, I'll go elsewhere.

So I'm sure that slime substance is in our water all throughout my house, we're drinking it and bathing in it. Also, I had the monthly maintenance payment plan which is pointless because they still made me pay more when they came out for the yearly maintenance. When I canceled that monthly plan they continued to charge me! So I stopped having them service the equipment altogether and will be putting in a system I can maintain myself.
