We were using another pool company to test our water and were getting inconsistent results. We started using Crystal Pools and met Mike. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. We have a Pentair Pool system at the house we purchased that had a single speed pump that was failing. We decided to replace the pump with a Pentair Intelliflo variable speed pump and have it installed by Crystal Pools. Crystal Pools is an authorized Pentair dealer where you benefit from the longer warranty period. They installed the pump a year ago and it has been saving me money ever since. The pump allows you to program different operations at different speeds reducing overall electrical costs. Highly recommend going somewhere else. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. We've used Crystal Pools over the last year. Last year I had them do our pool opening and they did well. Got it all up and running, was great. However, over the months they became more sloppy, less customer service focused, and after we had them winterize our pool, and I paid a monthly fee for them to come out each month....I had to call them EVERY MONTH and ask if they were coming out. Each time they were surprised that they hadn't been out yet and then sent someone. Last year, when they opened the pool, the guy came to the door and we talked about all that was done and everything was working great, because he had me open the pool app and test everything right then and there with him. We actually found out that it was not running smoothly and they would need to send another guy out to fix a few things. This year, they just left a piece of paper with instructions to finish their work. I saw the guys get into their truck to leave, so I went in the back to look at the pool. What I saw was that the pool didn't have enough water for the skimmer to even be turned on. There wasn't even water on the tanning ledge, as I could walk on it with my shoes on. I went out onto the front yard and flagged the guys down and then asked why the pool wasn't finished being opened. He said that I need to open the app, set a schedule, fill up the pool the rest of the way and then turn the system on. I was shocked. This was not the service that I received last year. Last year the guy knocked on my door and we tested and confirmed with each other that everything was running smoothly and as expected. Instead, this year, I'm supposed to finish THEIR JOB. I do not expect to have a reduced bill because they didn't finish the job. Spoke to the main office and the same brush-off came from the guy there. WE WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS COMPANY. Horrible customer service, laziness and complete rudeness for half the work, yet they expect the same payment. read more

Very expensive. They try to sell me stuff I don't need every time I visit. Most of them are better than others but very greedy people. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LOT OF POOL KNOWLEDGE. "Don't come here again if you are not going to bring money with you." - Front desk guy. Very very unprofessional. Rude management, poor water tests and everything is overpriced! They make it seem like they are doing you a $50 favor by testing your water. Only seem interested in selling you unnecessary chemicals. Try other places first. read more
