My Loop-loc pool cover lasted 25 years but finally began to fall apart. In need of a new cover, I…read morecontacted several companies claiming to carry Loop-loc but learned that they were not. At last I came upon Metro Pool Service, who, indeed, carried the Loop-loc brand. The sales rep was very responsive to my needs and actually researched the registration number on my old cover, only to discover that we had purchased it in 2009 from Metro Pool Services! Without delay, they ordered my new cover. The price was very competitive with other comparable covers and considerably less than the other Loop-loc supplier. Metro even accommodated my request to wait until after October 13, 2024, to install the cover. They will deliver the new cover, repair any of the anchors in my deck that need work and install the cover. I am extremely pleased with the ease of the transaction and the courteous interaction with the Metro employees, from office staff to sales rep. I would highly recommend Metro Pool Service. D. West

Not sure about the previous review posted here, but let me share my experience with Metro…read more My pool motor recently went out, and contacted Metro. After explaining my situation with their rep, and supplying a few pictures of my setup, the owner worked me into their schedule that day. Within a couple of hours, Paul was at my house and checking out the motor and pump. As it turned out, not only was the motor shot, but the pump was on the verge of failing as well. Paul showed me the unit he would recommend I use for a replacement, and advised me to get it from Amazon. Thinking I might be better off buying it through Metro, I asked that question. Paul advised me that it would be the same pump with the same hardware warranty, it would just cost me more. He would guarantee his labor in either case. I also asked about going with a higher end variable speed pump, since I'd heard all the marketing hype about those. Paul walked me through the pros and cons of both single and variable speed pumps, including longevity, complexity and maintenance. While he could have easily let me go down the primrose path of a MUCH more expensive replacement, he let me make up my own mind and was willing to work with me whichever way I went. Thinking I could have the pump in by the next Monday, he worked me in a slot on their schedule so I could get things back up and running. I didn't mention, but this was mid-November.... ain't nobody swimming in my pool right now. But he knew I needed it fixed and operational to keep it clean and protected from cold weather, since I don't close the pool over the winters (That's a choice, not looking for input from anyone). When I ordered the pump, it was scheduled for a Wednesday delivery (the Wednesday AFTER the Monday Paul scheduled me for), and I advised him that I might need to push it to later in the week. As luck would have it, the new unit arrived around noon on Monday. I promptly texted Paul to let him know it was here and if we needed to push the installation out because I assumed they had already moved me off the Monday slot. To my great pleasure, Paul replied that he could fit me in after all, if I didn't mind a 4pm time slot, which I most certainly did not. During both visits, Paul was NOTHING but professional, polite and more than willing to answer any pool related questions I had, even ones that didn't pertain to the service call. I am most certainly a Metro customer going forward. I can't say enough about how satisfied I am.

However, when the leaks they isolated were not correctly located, our…read moreprevious contractors (whom we had to use by law to reserve the right to sue) came out to complete the repairs. When the pool continued to leak after repairs, we requested that they return to troubleshoot the issue, as the identified leaks were not correct. Instead of being met with a desire to defend their work or provide a compromise, we were dropped like a hot potato. I was informed that since we didn't use them for the repairs and the pool had already been touched, they would not return and would close the file. I communicated that we preferred they do the work, but we could not proceed with their services until we allowed the original general contractor a chance to repair the damage. At no point was I informed that if the leak detection were incorrect and someone else touched it, they would not honor their services. Not only will they not come back out to figure out what went wrong, but we have been dropped and had the file closed. Furthermore, they refuse to even discuss trying to rectify the situation in any way. They prefer to slam the door in our faces. I'd recommend going with Byrd or someone else.

At your home for 10 minutes And leave and never do an actual leak detection test But proceed to charge your credit card again and quote you 7500.00 to repair a leak that they actually did not detect. So they are making 300.00 each stop and really not doing anything. Called different pool company and had a true leak detection done and no leak was found. it was a simple fix that was done that day for $900.00 Beware people!
