I moved to Framingham 3 years ago and have never been the person to go back to nail salons over and over until recently. Discovered Anna and Winnie a year ago and I LOVE this place. I'm always treated like royalty and Anna does an amazing job with my nails. She takes her time to carefully groom them and always makes sure I have water, tea or coffee. worst pedicure I have ever had. I had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews, but I was gravely disappointed. I got a pedicure, massage was good but the actual painting of my toe nails was like I had done it with my left hand(i'm a righty). I had nail polish on my skin, spots where they didnt cover with nail polish at all, and the clear coat they then put on top was all bubbly and left air bubbles in the nail polish which dried that way. I went back there to get them repainted by someone else because I wanted to give them another chance, the next person was a little bit better, but not great or even good by any standard. I still had nail polish on my skin around my toes and she was not neat with putting nail polish on. Sorry Crystal Nails, but you will have to increase your quality to get my business again. This place is phenomenal. They take their time and pay attention to details such as thoroughly cutting cuticles and making sure your nails are straight. Took an hour and a half for them to do both, so you know it's good. They also have a reward system, after ten stamps you get a free service! Mary and Vanna were great. I went in yesterday for a pedicure and ended up getting a manicure as well. I have never been in a nail salon like this. Not only are they friendly and attentive but all the other customers seem to have been going here for years (like 10+!) and a couple told me how they had gone to the owner's daughter's wedding. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and warm, they offered me water and coffee several times, and the manicure and pedicure were really good. Especially the pedicure. This place was ehhh. The workers were really great and were nice, however, they didnt have too many shellac color (the only ones i use ever....) so i had to use gelish. they left alot of bubbles all over my nails- it was also not cheap.... they did about 4 coats of the gel color as opposed to the 2 i typically get so my nails were very thick, it did last long though- i wouldnt go there again. read more

I just moved to Framingham from Los Angeles and I was in search of a new place to do my gel manicure. Now I've been getting my nails done by the same person for years so to find a new place was a little intimidating. I did a quick google search and read a few online reviews on this place, and decided to call them to see if I needed an appointment if it I could just walk in. The woman on the phone was so pleasant and inviting and told me I could come in right now which was great because I was right down the street. The woman who greeted me and did my nails was so upbeat and nice, she talked to me about he self and asked me about myself. I've been to places where the technician doesn't even look at you, but not here. Anna made me feel like I was at home! She did an excellent job on my nails, she took her time and it gave me the opportunity to have that moment of relaxation we are all looking for when getting a manicure! I am so happy with the job she did, and I'm and very pleased with choosing Crystal Nails in Framingham as my new go to spot! I would suggest this place to my friends & family. I went to this nail salon yesterday to simply have my gel polish removed and they completely ruined my natural nails. They used a drill on them in addition to acetone and every single nail is completely covered in groves, ridges, and scrapes. I can't believe they thought that was acceptable and have no idea when my nails will recover. Do not go to this salon! read more

Great place, just need to make and show up for your scheduled appointment to ensure you will be able to get your nails done that day. Sometimes the salon is very busy, and scheduling an appointment is the best way to get your nails done in a timely manor. My experience at the salon was excellent, great manicure and pedicure. Yet, the nail polish seems to chip easily. I am not sure if this is due to me being an active person, but all of my nails chipped in one day. I would recomend this salon to others. read more

WOW! I was here a few months ago & was happy with the mani & pedi, so I went back today ( I had foot surgery so no pedis for a few months). Anyway, what a GREAT experience: Crystal Nails has new owners...Tammy is SUPER friendly and gave me the most luxurious pedicure I've ever had...comfortably hot soak in the foot bath with whirlpool jets, massage feet & legs with salt/oil scrub, massage feet & legs with lotion, masque on my feet with steamy towels, more massage with peppermint-y tingly gel, all while sitting in a big comfy massage chair that Shiatsu'd my head, shoulders & back...then trimmed & shaped my nails & painted so carefully that my feet look, dare I say, BEAUTIFUL! I've never had someone take so much time and care. The manicure was equally luxurious - top quality products, a HEAVENLY hand/arm massage, nails carefully shaped & every last bit of ragged cuticle carefully removed...my hands are now so beautiful they don't even look like mine. BOTH mani & pedi ONLY $37!!! For this area, that's MORE than reasonable...I've paid more in other places & gotten a lot less, with some pretty halfhearted attnetion. Not here...I was offered water, everyone smiled at & greeted people coming in, I was even given a pair of flip-flops to wear home since I didn't have mine ( I was just going to wear the foam pedi flip-flops, but everyone insisted I take a pretty pink pair with flowers!) Tammy's husband, Tom, is also really friendly, and they're really working to bring in new clients by providing top-quality service with top-quality products for reasonable prices. David is still there and he also does great manicures. It's not a fancy salon, but it is sparkling clean and everything is carefully sanitized (I check verrry carefully!) and it's very relaxing. Atrocious !!!! I read reviews for Crystal Nails at Yelp, & decided to try for my first pedi-mani and gel nails.....and oh man ! I'm never going back there. The pedicure was done by a girl & was done well - no complaints. But nothing extraordinary that I would be raving about it either. But when it came to getting my gel nails done, the guy was who was doing it for me, was irked even before he started working on my nails. He did have problems communicating in English & thus, I was forced to repeat my questions in order to understand what he was trying to say. He was so damn RUDE ....not only in words but also in actions !!!! He was venting out his anger / frustration on my hands. His uncut, long nails were poking into my skin so badly that 2 of my fingers had tiny cuts after the end of it !!! Dude, if you are frustrated at the communication gap - so am I !!!! But I'm not venting it out on you. When I shared my concern with one of his colleagues, she apologized, but he further got fumed cos he felt that he was being complained about. So much so that after the end of it, when I was making the payment he was making rude gestures with his hands. I promise never to go back to this place again. I am usually not into giving reviews on-line but I was so frustrated with this one that I ended up creating a new yelp ID. Overall, a bad & expensive experience !!! To top it, the pain of reaching their location with so much traffic - always. I have had better experiences with Nail Salons at Route 9, which are much easier to reach & are much cheaper ! read more

I'm relatively new to the Framingham area and was sad to leave my old nail salon. However, I got a mani pedi here and both women who did them paid such close attention to detail. I checked the reviews before going in an decided to give them a try since the reviews were pretty good. Before the woman started I showed her what I wanted done on my nails and the first thing the popped out of her mouth was "$5 more." I agreed to pay the $5 more but as she started working on my acrylics she ripped one off and said "$3 more to fix". I paid over $35 for a refill, left with my fingers cut and instead of 1 stiletto (wanted to try before committing to all) and the rest tapered square I left with 10 beast nails. My nails weren't straight and she wouldn't fix them but complained through the whole thing. A refill that normally takes about 1 hr took 2.5 hrs. I didn't get what I paid for and when I pointed out her mistake she told me that I would have to come back in 2 weeks to remove them all and redo them. So far I've wasted over $50 on a refill, removal and another full set (another location). Then she really asked for a cash tip because they don't like credit card tips. They are very meticulous and do a great job. When you tell them what you want you get it. The pedicure was amazing and I brought pics for my manicure and Anna did exactly what I asked. They take their time and make sure it looks great. Very extensive color selection and multiple levels of service from a basic pedicure and manicure on up for both. Location is hidden but multiple options for parking in lots in back of building, nearby and street options. I have been to multiple local salons and this is by far the best option! read more

I have been going to Crystal Nails for the past 8 years and don't plan on going anywhere else. I no loner live in Framingham but make sure I make it to this salon. The employees there are amazing and make you feel right at home. They make me feel like I am apart of their family. The manicures are awesome. I don't trust having a full set done by any other place but here. The pedicures are awesome. They have new massage chairs which are awesome! The massages the employees give on your feet and legs are to die for. I love the exfoliating scrub and the menthol gel at the end. I highly recommend if you are in the area to go here for any manis or pedis. They also do eyebrows!!! read more

Bought a groupon for 3 mani pedi .For 1st appt they were so good .2nd appt they are not that great and owner mentioned the restriction that I have to use the third one before June that is week from then .I told her the groupon is valid till August. She is like oh we are so busy ! ."MY question is why do u sell groupon if your so busy and out up your own rule " Also they made me wait for 45 minutes even though I had appt.3rd appt she doesn't have anything available till my groupon expires.That is real bad customer service .WHy can't they put all this restrictions when they try to sell in groupon rather than making customer to buy it and then shutting them off in the middle of package and asking the customer to get the refund even though they know the groupon won't . Scheduled an appointment during the week for a pedicure. Was immediately seated, they attempted to up sell me on a natural pedicure which I politely declined twice. My pedicure was rushed, my toe nails were not properly shaped, she didn't fully paint each toe nail. I had to file each toe afterwards. I feel like she rushed my pedicure because she tried to seat me for a manicure. I politely declined a manicure because I had already had a gel manicure elsewhere. I was the only person in the salon so I'm not quite sure why I was rushed. $28 is a lot for a 20 minute pedicure. On the flip side, the staff was very nice but I don't see how she gets return customers for the low quality work she does. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE I absolutely love Crystal Nails, I have been coming to this salon for probably 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience. The staff are amazingly friendly and their services are top notch. The leg massages with pedicures are MUCH longer than I have ever experienced elsewhere and they include a mud mask for no additional charge. I play soccer and run a lot so I've lost my fair share of toenails and they have fixed me up multiple times for special events so I look like I have normal feet :0) I also get gel manicures here pretty regularly and they always last at least 10 days without any signs of chipping/peeling; I don't lead the daintiest lifestyle so I am sure they would last 2 weeks+ for others. The prices are exceptionally reasonable and they even have a loyalty card, come in 10 times and your 11th service is free! I even left with a Ziploc bag full of traditional homemade Vietnamese egg rolls one day, just because Anna decided to make a bunch the night before so she was giving them to customers that day! (They were delicious!) Every time I come in the staff always asks about my mom and the friends I have brought it with me before. For as long as I live in a 30 minute radius of their salon I will be a regular! You will not be disappointed! read more

Never again! I was going to Winnie for a couple of months. I always tipped her much more than 20%. I would always make an appointment a couple of days in advance for a pedi, fill and gel polish. The last time I went which was two weeks ago today. The other woman did my pedi. That was fine as I like her and she did a great job. When Winnie sits me at her chair for my nails she informs me she has another appointment coming in and she's going to have someone else do my nails. SERIOUSLY? If I wanted THAT other girl with the sketchiest life ever (Winnie told me all about that) I would have booked with her. Once I left my gel peeled off within a day. FYI gel doesn't do that on acrylic! What shocked me the most is evidently I'm not good enough for Winnie. She'd rather pawn me off to someone else when I had booked an appointment with her. Well she won't have to do that to me again.
