Wasted $70 on some basic nails. The nail was suppose to be a black French tip but the nails I got are SQUIGGLY TIPS. I got my nails done by a lady @number 3 my sister got her nails done by the guy. My sisters nails came out decent! Mine look like I did them myself. The lady couldn't get a straight line to save her life. She even asked me a few times how they looked and I told her what to fix and she tried to fix. It was embarrassing and unfortunate. I won't be returning ever and my sister won't be either. **if I would've known they had bad reviews I would've never came** The vibe was quiet, awkward and felt like I was going to fall asleep. read more

If you ever want to sit and wast to your time and money this is where to come. I usually go to Ocean Nails and Spa in Boise to get my nails done. Definitely worth the drive by the way. But I need a closer drive so I came here and now I regret it. I booked an appointment earlier in the day for an acrylic overlay I came in at the time the gentleman had told me to come in. At time of my arrival he looked shocked as if he hadn't taken my phone call. And told me it would be a minute till he could help me so i told okay I understand. Anyways I ended up waiting 45 min to not get serviced by them. They have done pedicures on me and they are okay not the best though. Please don't bring your business here. My nails really needed some tlc. I'm just upset that I even bothered to waste my time with them and even giving them a chance. read more

Ann keeps things very professional and is the best! She has been doing my nails since last year, and they are always on point, always what I ask for, and always nice! I understand these bad reviews because one time I got my nails done from someone else, and they weren't nearly as good. I definitely would call ahead and ask for Ann, because she usually is the one who accepts walk ins before anyone else! This will always be my favorite place, because if you treat all of the employees with respect and kindness, they extremely appreciate it and will do the same. Their salon is always clean, and they are overall my favorite place in this area! read more

I am beyond frustrated. I have never had trouble with acrylic nails. This week, I've had nothing but problems. I had my nails done before a vacation three weeks ago at Crystal Nails. I went back after two weeks and had them filled again so that was six days ago. Two days after I had them done, the nail polish fell away and separated from 2 of my acrylic nails. So I had to go in and get them painted again. The next day I woke up missing half of one of the fingernails. Last night I lost another one! This is after going back yesterday to get the one fixed. To top it off, this morning while I was brushing my teeth, another one just popped off! These are three week old nail tips that cost me $45 to fill plus 20% tip. One thing I noticed that seemed odd was when he first glued the tips on, he laid the tips down on my nail and then put the glue on the top. I had never seen anyone do that. I assumed you would need to add glue underneath to keep them on. His answer for why this is happening is because my hands were cold when I had my nails put on. (They weren't that cold in my opinion, and nobody has ever told me that the temperature of my hands would affect nail polish and acrylic tips). I've had nails for 20 years and this is the first time anything like this has happened. I'm tired of going back every day. I shouldn't have to do this. So I am starting over with a new girl on Monday at a new shop. Another problem that really concerned me was when he was doing my nails I got nipped a number of times by his little Dremel tool causing me to bleed. It hurt a lot. read more

I will Not be going back to Crystal Nail Spa. I called ahead and made my appointment with Vu. I get my pedicure but other people enter during. Vu starts on their nails. Then moves a woman with a baby to another person and starts filing my right hand. Then he asks me if I mind waiting so he can get the woman with the baby on her way. I said okay, but instead of the lady with the baby, he takes an older woman named Lynn. Wtaf? What kind of disrespect is this? I said I would not mind waiting for the woman with the baby. Not that I would be fine taking someone else ahead of me. I left. (and God forbid you turn on the air conditioning when it's 80 degrees. also, no covid sanitation between clients.) don't make appointments and then try to fit others in between. don't ask me to wait for a new mother or a pregnant woman and do a switcheroo with just another older lady. if you can't fit people in, be honest and make a later appointment or don't make someone halfway through their appointment go wait while you take in someone else. read more

I called and asked if they had time for a full set of dip nails. I was told to come on down. Once I showed up, I noticed a sign that they only take cash. They did have an ATM that was not working, annoying but I tried to be understanding. I made another appointment for the following day and asked how much a full set of dip with gel removal would cost so I knew how much cash to bring. I was told $40-$45 by the gentleman sitting at the first table. I came back for my appointment, and the salon was fairly busy. I watched each tech collect cash, not sanitize their hands or station before calling the next guest. I am not a covid freak but the cleanliness of this place was slightly disturbing. Once it was my turn, the tech kept trying to pressure me into "long and pretty overlays with dip" and I kept kindly refusing. I just wanted a regular dip set on my short nails. The nail tech then started using a fake nail to remove my gel nails and I asked her to stop as she was hurting me. She continued to try and I pulled away and asked her to soak my gels off which clearly annoyed her. I don't think she really knew much about dipping powder as the other lady that worked there, had to come and explain the process to her. This is where the nightmare began. She got the base coat all over my cuticles which will clearly make the powder adhere to my cuticles as well. When I asked her about it, she told me to relax and she'd file it off. Why file it off? Why go that high in the first place? She would dip each nail in the powder container itself and put the rest of the powder back in the container, my germs just waiting for the next person. Again, I am not a germaphobe but this was disgusting since they didn't even ask me to sanitize my hands prior to starting. After dipping my nails 4-5 times, they were super thick and all over my cuticles. She never buffed the nails down and started applying gel top coat. After 3-4 layers of top coat not drying she then asked the other tech for help. They then started applying more top coat to my nails, never filing my nails down. At this point, I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to walk out and tell me I was on punked. The salon was fairly busy and I didn't want to embarrass the nail tech so I quietly pointed my nails out to the gentleman trying to collect money from me. His response? They look good and he'll give me $10 off but that I really needed a manicure to make them look nice. Now they are blaming me for their horrible work? At this point, Ive had enough, paid my $30 and couldn't wait to get the heck out of there. I've attached pictures of the nails they find acceptable having clients leave their salon with. read more

DO NOT have the male employee give you a pedi. I called on 4/17/23 at 4:53pm to make an appt for today (11am 5/16/23) with the guy that answered the phone. They didn't have me on the calendar and acted surprised I walked in. The main lady there does a fabulous job, but the main guy rushed through my $70 Deluxe Pedicure and rubbed my skin so raw that I walked out with two bloody ankles. NEVER AGAIN will I give this business my time or money. WAS NOT a relaxing or enjoyable experience. read more

Wow I am impressed by this nail salon.. it's gorgeous and probably one of the cleanest nail salons I have been to. The owner seems to really care and have a good eye for quality and cleanliness. They have more colors and designs to choose from than other local Places I have been and they know the in trend designs. I have had my nails done twice here now and I have no interest in trying another place.. and I'm PICKY. Being a person who has managed a top salon and spa in Oregon I know what I look for, and I can't wait to go back. They have a lovely list and detailed menu for their services. The decor is beautiful and they always have music and the tv going. The chairs are insanely comfy, they follow all Covid related protocols and all wear masks and such. Since coming here I have noticed how on time they are and great about their bookings too, it's rare to come for an appointment and they're not ready for you where as other salons I have waited upwards of 30 min for an appointment I made days before, they don't have that issue here which is so appreciated. I will definitely be back again and again. read more

Had a friend who always gets her nails done here and they come out amazing, my experience was far from that! Booked for a full set and a pedicure got there a bit early but it was empty got sat down for my pedicure, we finished then got asked if I wanted fake nails or gel I said yes fake nails and they talked to each other then said oh no sorry we heard wrong on the phone we don't have time for that so i proceeded to just get a regular gel manicure even though I hate short nails. Got done with that went to go pay the lady said it would be $65 then I pulled out a $100 bill to pay then she switched it up and said the price is actually $95 I was most definitely over charged I won't be coming back I pay about $110 for acrylic nails and a pedicure from Bee's nails and I'll continue to do so! Horrible service and I don't appreciate being taken advantage of! I got home and had a closer look I have some weird dots on some of my nails as well as a toe that has more paint on one side than the other causing my nail to look crooked read more

Greedy greedy people. If you go here your service will be rushed and if you make an appointment most likely you will be waiting for others that are booked at the same time as you are, they double book just to get more money. There are only 2 full-time techs. They definitely always bite off more than they can chew. If you point out a mistake they become upset as if you should just settle with poor service. Bubbles, little fuzzies in the top coat and old discolored polish are just to name a few. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

My nails literally look like my 4yo tried her best to shape play doh around my nails. The pictures do.not.even do it justice, it is that bad. What a treat to tip the standard 20% ($24 in this instance) to walk out of there 2.5 hours later - yes you read that correctly and yes, I had an appointment & sat down straight away. ** I will say the gentleman that works there (not sure if he's the only male) but he tried to 'fix' the disaster my technician had created but he just couldn't - he did try & I think that he probably does a great job as he had 4 customers back to back. And yes again, I did witness 4 customers as I sat there for my 2.5 hour gel pedi & dip nails - never again this salon. The attached receipt to show price for myself for above mentioned services & my 3yo daughter nails/toes. Wow just wow. read more

The man who helped my daughter was extremely rude to the point we had to cancel the nail set and only paid for the pedicure. I wish I could give him zero stars my daughter told me when she got in the car how rude he was to her. I have been going to Crystal Nail Spa for the past couple months and I have nothing but great things to say! The guy who does my nails is always super friendly and nice to talk to. He does an amazing job and my nails always turn out great! I have been to other spas around here and none of them compare to Crystal Nail Spa. We scheduled appoints a week in advance for 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. They did not have the staff available to accommodate either appointment. The service provided was incredibly unprofessional. During the pedicure I was stabbed and cut several times. The nail polish was clearly applied by an amateur. I will need to fix and reapply later when I get home. I would not recommend this business. AND we did not get our manicures after being there for 1hr and 15 minutes. They wanted us to wait till they finished the pedicures for 2 other customers. Really didn't plan on sitting there for another hour waiting for a manicure. Even their staff criticized us, telling us we should have made an appointment. Funny, they knew our name when we arrived at 11am for our appointment! read more

I had to stop getting my nails done for over a year because of the damage from this place. They are rough and careless. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a nail salon or any business owner. I am in shock and disbelief. I sat for 25-30 minutes with foils on my fingers. I made an appointment for 2:15. I got there at 2:22. Apologized profusely for being late and said "I will wait my turn. It's my bad for being late. I'm fine waiting." A chair then opened up and they gladly ushered me over. I sat for 30 minutes with foils on my fingers as 2 other girls who also had appointments (at 3:00, mind you.) were ushered in and worked on. After my nails started hurting.. i simply pulled the foils off and washed my hands. Then panic suddenly set in for the employees and they told me they were "ready for me." I very calmly and nicely said "i just feel that it's in poor business to book 3 appointments all on top of one another when you're clearly understaffed. I will pay for the removal but I have to go." As i was leaving, one of the employees started mocking my voice and making fun of me. I'm still in disbelief. I turned around and asked who it was and why? No answer. Luckily Divine Nails, across the way, were so kind and helpful. I will never return to crystal nail spa. After going to Divine nails, i heard from several others in there that crystal nail salon is the worse. They're rude and rush you. So, good luck! Picture included of what my nails looked like after i washed them. After 30 minutes of sitting in foil. read more

I had my nails done by Ann a couple of times. The new set was nice but after a couple fills they were lifting from the nails underneath. When I brought it to her attention she got mad and then rude. Wanted to remove the acrylic. Not a few week old set! Did not want to accept that it was her work. Will never go back. Plus $20 to just paint my toes. Are you kidding me!!!! read more

I went to this place hoping I would find something near my home. I was a walk-in which that should've been accepted since there was hardly anyone there. I felt unwelcomed when 2 Vietnamese people were arguing who was going to take my pedicure. I mean, it's a nail salon...isn't this what they get paid to do? The female nail tech took me and I guess punished me by using scalding hot water for my feet...mind you it's 100*+ outside. I don't speak Vietnamese, but my body language was clear the water was way too hot and I still had to ask for her to use more cold water. I asked for the upgrade signature pedicure with gel. You would think I would get a better service than what I did. Nope!! The lady nail tech had sharp pointy nails and dug into feet during the massage. Not relaxing at all! After she was done torturing me I went to pay, but they made it very inconvenient for the customer with "cash only" signs everywhere. There was an ATM in the corner that this older man came while I was there to supposedly "maintenance" it. I'm not sure what he did, but when I tried to take $60 out it showed error and only gave my $20. When I told the lady that did my pedi, she laughed and told me to try again. 2nd time I pulled $40...keep in mind it's charging me $2 per withdrawal. Ughhh! I was so irritated by the time I left I couldn't wait to write a review. What a disappointment and an awful experience!!! I won't be back!!! read more

I highly suggest you go somewhere else. I took my daughter's here for mani pedis and got WAY over charged. They made my daughter feel bad about the designs she had chosen and how much they would have to charge her (she is 11!!) to put two flowers on her nails. They charged me $100 for her mani pedi. And this was after we waited an hour when we had an appointment! I have never been so mad!! Wish I could leave a zero star rating! read more

I wish I would have read these reviews first before going here but I read the reviews on their website instead. And their website kept giving me an error when I tried to leave one there. I made an appointment and was taken at my scheduled time. Everything is a-la-carte; no manicure/pedicure combo available. Cash only business which they could have told me when I called to make the appointment. Pedicure water was barely warm. I wasn't asked how I liked the temp or how short I wanted my toenails. Before that, she was trying to push me to get gel; it lasts longer. Twice I told her I didn't want gel. After that: no conversation which was great since I wanted to relax not converse. Not all my toes "saw" the cuticle nippers. I've never put my flip flops ON before having my nails polished. Put lotion on my foot and legs then put my foot back in the water? Clean the pedicure station next to me then touch me again without washing your hands? Continuously rubbing the same spot when using scrub starts to hurt. I paid for extra callous remover and never got it. I had to use my PedEgg when I got home. I normally tip 20% or more but she got $9 for a $71 service. Way over priced for what I received. A woman came who obviously is a recurring client and the guy asked her to come back later because he overbooked himself. Artificial nails looked great from what I saw but I don't wear them and he can't keep his own schedule. Just don't go. read more
