Dr. Lynch is very professional and with good bedside manners. Because of her I can live a normal life. I had pre- cancerous cells and she discovered everything on time and she made a difference in my life. I can't thank her enough. I had 2 friends who couldn't get pregnant. Waited 4 months for an appointment then got a call 2 weeks in advance to let me know the doctor wouldn't be in at all the week of my appointment. You would think she'd plan further in advance if she's planning to take a week off. Most other gynecologists are now booking into next year. Incredibly unprofessional. Luckily was able to get in with another gynecologist - 20 miles away. Do not recommend. When I tried to call them back there were 8 other people ahead of me in the call queue because of the mass cancellation. I would hope that this doctor would care more about women's health than to make them perpetually wait for an appointment. read more

I am at this doctor's office right now, my appointment was at 3. It is now past 3:30pm, and I have another appointment somewhere else. The front desk person, 'Alejandra' is incredibly curt and rude. After reading the other negative reviews talking about the same issues I'm having with this doctor and staff, I am convinced never to come back. When I asked how much longer before the doctor sees me, they could not ever give me a straight answer. I wanted to give this group a chance, but it turns out that all the negative reviews about these doctors and staff are very true. Don't waste your time having to wait on their beck and call for 30 to 1.5 hours or more! Go somewhere else for sure! read more

Have been seeing Dr. Lynch and Rosemary for over 5 years. They are busyyyyyyy. Most of my office visits I have to wait at least 30 mins or more for just an office visit for an annual. Expect to wait.... The front desk people are short, sound rude, and I hate calling their office because you will be on hold for 15 to 20 minutes. When my pharmacy sent their office an approval or to question a prescription they never responded so of course I had to call to expedite the request and and to be on hold.... I would have loved to leave a message so they can just call me back although it's full. Seriously? I have been a patient of Dr. Crystal Lynch for 16 years. I was with her in my prenatal care and she delivered my 2 babies. Actually there was a few years in the interim where I had to see someone else due to insurance changes. But happily, I am back in her care again. The office staff is friendly and professional. Office is located close to Torrance Memorial in the 3440 building. What I absolutely love about Dr. Lynch is that she is thorough and really takes the time to go over all of your questions and concerns. She is personable with a great "bedside manner" and really cares about her patients. She's the best OBGyn I've ever had. The only thing is that sometimes there have been times of difficulty in the appointment area (appts being rescheduled.) But it was always because of babies to be delivered or unexpected surgeries, etc. that can't be helped. After all, I'm sure she has a huge clientele. I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else -- she's the best! read more

I came for an appointment a year ago and waited 1 hour 45 minutes. When Dr. Lynch finally saw me she interrupted my pap smear appointment to take a phone call. But i thought it could be a fluke. First of all, if you are on board with having a scheduled c-section you will receive great care. She is very friendly and upbeat. However, when I originally told Dr. Lynch that I wanted to have natural child birth, she actually laughed at me. I should have seen this for the sign that it was and switched providers at this point. The wait times in the office are RIDICULOUS. Even as the first appointment of the day you have to wait over an hour at times. The Nurse practitioner in the office was wonderful, but the scheduling secretaries and other office staff are outright rude and dismissive. They would make each visit a trial. It is ridiculous trying to get any kind of appointment if you are not pregnant. Don't even try. I had a breast cancer scare and the very rude secretary accused me of faking it to be seen. True story. When I was ready to give birth to my son, Dr. Lynch was unwilling to do anything at all the accomodate my desire to have a natural child birth, and in fact yelled at me when I told her I only wanted to use drugs that were approved by the FDA for certain procedures. Bottom line, if you have fertility issues and don't mind having a scheduled c-section that agrees with Dr. Lynch's busy schedule, she is the doctor for you. However, if you want natural child birth that occurs on your baby's schedule, you need to keep shopping for an OB who will care about what you want, and not how she can force you into a c-section that is convenient for her schedule. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I am 5 months pregnant, and I scheduled a one-time appointment. I came and waited TWO HOURS! Then the receptionist said I will have to see the nurse unless I wanted to wait another hour. I should have read the reviews before coming here, because the girl in the waiting room says she waits at least 2 hours for every appointment. To top it off, I got mailed a $300+ bill, when all I had was a yeast infection! Mind you, this was AFTER insurance! Before insurance, they billed $900 just to do an ultrasound (which I said I didn't need! $300) and a yeast culture. STAY AWAY! read more

Further, when I asked the front desk an hour in how much longer it was going to be, they were kind of rude about it and then the nurse also brushed it off. Horrible save yourself from the heartache. I should have known when my first appointment was canceled 3-4 hours before I was due to arrive. My next appointment was scheduled 3 weeks later (not to mention I may need surgery, and losing an extreme amount of blood biweekly) I arrived at 3:35 for a 4pm appointment. Dr. Lynch is a caring, beautiful, and knowledgeable soul. And you're going to have to wait half the day to see her. The staff is not particularly friendly, except for Martha who is dry but helpful will get you whatever you need done. Dr. Lynch will care for you and give you the best advice for your baby but bring a blanket, book, iPad, charger, snacks & water because you will be camping out. read more

I totally disagree with some of these reviews and feel some are not fair. I feel like I know Dr. Lynch quite well...after all, I've had 3 babies with her. When I moved to this area, I asked some labor and delivery nurses (who better to ask?!?!) who I needed as my obgyn. They gave me 2 names. One was male (which I didn't feel comfortable with...just my preference) and one was dr. Lynch. I had a few other docs that I was referred to, but they told me that those docs were really nice too, but had higher complication rates. The reason the wait time is so long for dr lynch is because she is in surgery all the time. Isn't that what you want in an OB...someone with lots of surgical experience and good outcomes? Waits are long, but in my opinion is she worth the wait. It is hard to tell if she is 30 minutes late or hours late...I understand....from my experience, surgery times are hard to predict. I had 2 very complicated deliveries and one scary emergency....she truly saved my baby while the other docs and nurses in the Hospital were panicking. And she did it with grace and ease at the same time calming everyone down. Even the nurses told me that I was lucky to have her...and I truly believe it. read more

She's a very competent doctor, however she's simply too darned busy to give the kind of care that I'm used to. I was bumped from her schedule numerous times (granted she was off delivering babies or doing surgeries at the time), the wait is ALWAYS AT LEAST an hour... The nurse practitioners are good. You'll probably see them more than the doc. The front ladies are often stressed, trying to juggle the doc's schedule... and they don't realize for some reason, that everyone can hear their conversations (which are not always professional). read more

Had my annual appointment today. There was a misunderstanding because I know I called and rescheduled it for today at 9:00. They said they didn't have me down. But, they said they would add me. So, if you reschedule your appt, get the person's name. Within 10 minutes I was in to see Rosemary. Rosemary is wonderful, kind and extremely competent. I have seen Dr Lynch and Rosemary for over 15 years now, and through 3 pregnancies and 1 miscarriage , they have been phenomenal. Don't get me wrong, when I was pregnant, and waiting for Dr. Lynch there may have been at times a wait, but I thought to myself, that might be my baby she is delivering some day. So, bring a good book and a chill pill. Staff have always been very nice to me. So, if you want a GREAT OB and AWESOME NP, see them. read more

Honestly don't know where to start with this doctor. Consistently late and doesn't even apologize or say why she is. Last two visits I waited an hour to see her. I told my fiance to stop coming with me after the first incident because her lateness made him late for work. Second time I went by myself, waited yet another hour in the room where she was supposed to see me. Third and final time, today (12/8/15) waited 30 minutes because I have work. I told the receptionist, "Go ahead and cancel my appointment because I have to go to a job that requires me to be on time." Not to mention, she was telling me to gain a bunch of weight and quoting the food pyramid which we all know is outdated. Why do I need to eat 6-11 servings of grains?? I asked the third party doctor they sent me to for the ultrasounds and she told me to listen to my body, and not worry about gaining weight as long as my stomach is growing. Do yourself a favor and don't even chance it. I was in the waiting room today and it was full of chatty ladies. One of them brings her laptop because she typically waits AN HOUR OR MORE. What's the point of making an appointment if she can't even keep it. It may be the receptionists fault, but don't let them waste your time. I don't trust this woman to deliver my first born. I should've gone with my gut, but I gave her three chances. BIG MISTAKE. read more

I was a patient here for about 6 years. I will start by saying Dr. Lynch and her medical staff are amazing. They are very knowledgable and kind. Dr. Lynch is a very busy doctor, for good reason. Waiting for her appointments is understandable, because the woman delivers babies and that could literally happen at any time. So if you are not going to be understanding about wait times when it comes to things like this, go to an obgyn that does not do deliveries. I have since transferred to a different clinic, solely because of the support staff. The nurses and front staff aren't necessarily rude, they simply do not hide the stress they are encountering. The last straw for me was trying to schedule my yearly exam this year. I called to schedule, and called back about a week later to get the date as I had forgotten to write it down. The receptionist saw that at the first phone call, I had been scheduled with a wrong doctor (that is not even in my insurance network), on a day that the wrong doctor wasn't even in the office. Fine, mistakes happen, so we rescheduled. Then I was called a few days before my appointment, asking if we could reschedule my appointment. Fine, things come up, so we rescheduled. Then I completely forget about my appointment, did not receive any kind of confirmation the day before (after having to reschedule twice because of the office). Bottom line, medical staff is great, knowledgable, and worth the wait. But customer service could use a little help. read more

I think Docter Lynch is one of the BEST!!!!!! I Love Docter Lynch. When I was pregnant I was very sick and had a lot of complications. I don't know if my son would be here today without her. She saw me through trying times with invitro and then was the one to perform myomectomy followed by an IUI just 2 months later that produced our amazing son, expertly delivered via C-section that there's no trace of. Dr. Lynch is the best in her field. I am so thankful/greatful for her. She detected a very aggressive triple negative breast cancer very early, which wasn't detected in my mammogram 3 months prior! this saved me from so much extra surgries/treatment I didn't have to have a masectomy/chemotherapy this reduced my treatment to radiation/lumpectomy! Not only is she competent, professional, friendly, well versed/knowledgable, but she is also caring she listens to my concerns and treats me as if I'm the only patient she has I always leave her office better than when I came I believe what she does for her patients is what she'd do for her mother, sister, daughter that she dearly loves. She's very current on the latest medical treatments, procedures and technology from her broad knowledge base she gives a well educated opinion/recommendations. Dr lynch is nice... but when I came in for my second pregancy (current baby 8 months old) she didn't even recognize me. I've never been seen in less than an hour. I always feel like it will be worth it once the doctor makes it to my room, but i always feel rushed and like they didn't take the time on me. I'm done. Currently sitting in a paper robe where I have been waiting 2 hours.... and someone just came in and told me the doctor had forgotten about me. My experience with Dr. Lynch had almost cost me my life. Because of her negligence my life has been changed forever. I have a constant reminder of the horror I endured. I was introduced to Dr. Lynch by my Primary Care Physician who highly recommended her. Dr. lynch had performed my hysterectomy with no incident, except that the scar itched very bad for several years and when I mentioned it to her it was dismissed, didn't seem to be that important to her. I let it go. I felt like no big deal. I continued to go to her for my gynecological needs. I trusted her. My last appointment with her I was complaining of pain after sex so Dr. Lynch advised that she would like to perform a pelviscopy to look behind my pelvis for any abnormalities. I agreed. I was advised that it was an outpatient procedure and that I would be able to go back to work the next day. My mother-in-law and I arrived at Torrance Memorial as scheduled, I'm checked in and that's all I can remember. I wake up a month and a half later from being in a coma. Dr. Lynch had nicked my small intestine and I had become septic. My mother-in-law has said that I complained of being in a lot of pain and that Dr. Lynch was contacted and that she suspected that I just had really bad gas, had me walk around and was to send me home. One of the nurses noticed that something was dreadfully wrong as my vital signs were significantly changing. My organs were starting to shut down. Once it was found that I was septic I had to have emergency surgery. A day later my daughter was told, by one of the doctors that had performed my surgery, as there were several working on me, that they had done all that they could possibly do and that my fate was no longer in their hands. A month and a half later I woke. I couldn't talk as I had to have a tracheotomy. I couldn't raise my arms or walk due to neuropathy. I was being fed by a pick line. I was in a lot of pain. I was so afraid. I couldn't believe what had happened to me. After a while I ordered my hospital records and found out that I had undergone a blood transfusion, had to have dialysis, had code blue called on me several times, and a host of other things. After reading the huge file all I could do was curl up in fetal position and cry. I cried for hours asking why. I also had a bed sore in the back of my head. I ended up losing my job of 6yrs as a result of using up all my time due to constantly being admitted into the hospital because of complications. My life has never been the same and the only thing I have received from Dr. Lynch is a very small note, not a letter, saying that she was sorry for what had happened. Nothing else. I have suffered from severe depression and anxiety, memory loss, and I'm having trouble with my hearing. There was one point that I was so overly depressed that I tried to commit suicide behind it all. Financially I have suffered as well. I have not been able to get back where I was. I am not the same person that I use to be and it hurts as I didn't ask for any of this. Dr. Lynch gets to continue on with her day-to-day living, her practice, and I have to struggle day to day. There is much more to this story that I can write a book. However, every day, I know, is a blessing, even when it doesn't feel like it. God is good as I am still here and I know it won't be like this forever. I'm not telling anyone not to go to Dr. Lynch. Do as you wish. I just think it's time I spoke about my experience and hopefully it will not be yours. Thank you. read more

This review is for Rosemary the Nurse Practitioner as she is the only person I have seen in this office since I started going which was around 20 years ago. Well, I did see Dr. Lynch once when Rosemary couldn't make it into the office and she was very nice. Rosemary is a super nice person and she is very thorough and informative. And she is also very in tune with your family history and makes sure that the necessary tests are done and any needed medications are prescribed. read more

I am loathe to write bad reviews on doctors, but this one just had to be done. I really waited a long time and was ready to just forgive and forget- but then other people in my family experienced events along the same lines and I felt it necessary to write this review. Had the most awful experience here, PM me for the details and I will gladly share. I do believe these people do not read charts. My entire female family went here for a few years, but we have had repeated adverse incidents which could have potentially compromised our health and overall just showed a complete lack of caring about patients. Being from the healthcare field, I truly feel that doctors and their accompanying staff should do everything in their power to care for the patients, respectfully handle adverse incidents and demonstrate sufficient knowledge about the products they are using. I agree with some reviews that the wait can be ridiculous, but that is forgivable to me as one cannot control when a baby is being birthed, or if patients decide to talk a long time, etc. There are always emergencies popping up in physicians offices that need to be handled. My biggest concern is how these incidences are handled. Lastly, she performed a surgery on another family member of mine and the post-surgical scarring had to be amended by a plastic surgeon since the keloiding was severe. read more

The absolute worst office staff. CVS and I have been calling for 3 weeks to get a prescription refill of prenatal vitamins. They must be too busy reading their US Weekly and People magazine because that's all they do when I'm in their office. Dr. Lunch is a great doctor , I've been seeing her my whole pregnancy & I'm currently 38 Weeks . She's great at what she does but there is ALWAAAAYS a wait. Today I'm an hour into my wait here.. Still in the waiting area but there's been times my total appt took close to 4.5/5 hours.. That's unacceptable regardless. If something comes up the front desk receptionist should automatically call & rsd the patients so there not waiting hours & hours .
