I ordered a bouquet from Crystal Gardens for a friend who had surgery. The bouquet was to be a $100+ bouquet. I was so disappointed! The bouquet was very small -equivalent to a $50 bouquet (as seen on their website), the vase wasn't the one that I picked out, I paid for a balloon they neglected to deliver (they did deliver two balloons the next day-anticlimactic). I like to support our local businesses, but I will have to reconsider it the next time I order flowers. read more

My son and daughter in law in Washington state decided to send me flowers for Mother's Day. Granted they were a bit late in ordering on crystal gardens website (Friday May 8) but the order went through so they thought everything was fine. Saturday morning they received an email saying the flowers would be delivered that day, May 9. So, they sent me a text saying to expect a delivery. NOTHING CAME!!!!!!! I was so disappointed to not get my flowers! Monday morning, May 11 I went into the store itself (2 miles from my house) and spoke to Kamila to find out what happened. The only thing she could tell me was that they didn't receive the order until Saturday morning and that their system shouldn't have let them order that late for Mother's Day. Ok then maybe there is something wrong with the system and it should be upgraded. Not my fault or my son's. Because the big day was already over and past I asked for her to give them a full refund. Which, she did. However, no real apology for messing up and me not getting my flowers. And no offer of a small bouquet or something to make me feel better. If she had done that I might not have told her we will never use her company again and that I would be writing a review. Probably would have let all the bad feelings go. Oh well, it's over and done now and we will find another florist to use. read more

My daughter punched flowers for her boyfriends mom on May 6th to be delivered for Mothers day on May 9th. The flowers were never delivered and there was never any communication regarding the undeliverable flowers. My daughter called 10 times regarding what happened with the delivery and she was told several times she would get a call back. She never did. When she called again just before closing she was told she was reimbursed. There was no care or urgency on this matter. No flowers for mothers day. Please keep your money and never order from this company again. They don't care!!! read more

I talked to a girl named Christina on the phone the next day who said would call me back with an update (no apology and was very rude over the phone). 2:50pm rolls around (10 minutes before they close on Saturday and are closed all day on Sunday) I call back and she said my paper order could never be found and I was refunded. They did do an excellent job delivering when expected. But I was highly disappointed on the outcome of the arrangement. It felt like an extreme rip off. You can buy this quality for less money at trader Joe's, and it looks nothing like the photo on their website. Customer service was not very good. We went in to talk to them about it and they were very defensive telling us that Gladiola's were'nt in season, etc. Which we questioned at the time of purchase & they said no problem regarding the gladiolas. You can see they weren't anything like the ones in the photo from their website. However, when we attended our funeral service, there was tons of other lovely Gladiola arrangements. Very disappointed. Would not recommend. They did try to make it look a little bit better but still nothing like the photo. At least that counts but seriously a major let down to see the finished product. read more

I have used Crystal Gardens Florist several times, and have had excellent results each time. This time was no exception. I wanted to send some flowers to a friend whose spouse had passed away. I stopped in to the store and spoke with Ira (he had done the last arrangement for me which was also excellent. Ira asked me a few questions about my friend and what her style is, the price range I wanted, and then he made suggestions for the arrangement. As I had worked with Ira before, I had complete faith that he would deliver what I needed. He knocked it out of the park, again! The arrangement was amazing and my friend was overwhelmed with her flowers. Additionally, Ira went out of his way to deliver the flowers personally, as it was on his way home from work. They were delivered to our home a little late (hence the 4 stars) and due to them being late, we already left the house when they were delivered. So that's my only reason for not giving 5 stars- due to that the flowers had to sit outside in the heat until we got home. However, I do understand that things happen, and or short staff- so no worries. However, the flowers are stunning! Thank you Crystal Gardens, the online shop was easy to use, prices were good, delivery was on time, and the extras were thoughtful and appreciated. Ordered flowers yesterday February 13th, the online store was easy to use and I had no trouble. A lot of other florists were immensely more expensive for the same kind of items with like kind and quality. Delivery was made only a 2 hours after their shop opened. And my favorite part of the whole process. I left a note to please call me when delivery was complete just in case no-one was around to revive them. Not only was my note actually read and acted upon but they flowers were placed in a spot out of sight, making it a tad harder to swipe from a porch. This used to be one of my favorite florists in Poway. However they recently came under new ownership and since then the quality has gone way down. The past two arrangements I ordered had old flowers that only lasted about 3 days and just overall weren't that impressive. They used to have high quality and unique flowers.
