Today Dr. Nguyen filled a section of my front tooth where the tooth had broken off. He took care to make sure my bite was perfect afterwards. The filling blended in perfectly. Actually after today's filling, my front teeth look better and more even than they have looked in twenty years. Dr. Nguyen walks on water! His skills are amazing. Extremely Disappointed -- Repeated Mistakes and a Failed Filling I am very unhappy with the care I received from Dr. David Anifowose. At a cleaning appointment, he told me I needed fillings on tooth #4 and #5, even though I had never had pain, sensitivity, or any problems with either tooth. I agreed to the treatment, assuming it would be routine -- but it turned into one problem after another. Tooth #5 had to be redone immediately during the appointment because something went wrong the first time. When I got home and tried to floss, I couldn't because excess filling material had been left between the teeth. I had to go back yet again so he could "fix" it. That means it took three different attempts to complete one filling. A few months later, the filling on tooth #5 fell out completely. I immediately developed hot and cold sensitivity and had to see a different dentist. The new dentist repaired it correctly and the entire experience was noticeably more professional and competent. I honestly feel that Dr. Anifowose's work caused more harm than good. This process was stressful, inconvenient, and has permanently made me question his skill level. I went to Crystal Creek Dental to get a routine preventative checkup and cleaning. After they took all the x-rays and slid in a total mouth x-ray (which I now realize is a once every three year sort of thing) they gave me an expensive quote and told me they couldn't clean my teeth via my preventative insurance paid cleaning, that I required deep cleaning, and told me I had cavities. I declined the deep cleaning and all other treatment and left. I scheduled an appointment a week later with my prior dentist. They immediately started cleaning my teeth and told me I had no cavities. Crystal Creek Dental are scammers. I'm writing this review to save someone else the time and trouble. I was there an hour and a half before they told me about the deep cleaning. read more

My wife took him to another dentist for a 2nd opinion, and we discovered that he did not have cavities after all. We were also told that his wisdom teeth did not need to be removed. Not only this dental office refused to provide a refund after overpayment, but they also billed all the services for myself and my family members under Dr. An Q Le (owner or head dentist of Prime Dental) as the treating provider when the procedures and oral exams were rendered by associate dentists (Dr. Hani Matti, Vinh D Nguyen, Idowu Akinyele and David Anifowose). Their billing tactics are considered fraudulent per insurance guidelines and the Texas board of Dental examiners, and I have filed a formal complaint against their deceptive business practices. Dr. Akinyele placed bone graft and implant in November 2024 after an extraction. He advised me to take vitamin D to help with the healing. The procedure went well and did not experience pain, and I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment to see Dr. Akinyele in mid-February 2025. Unexpectedly, the front desk canceled the appointment, and it was scheduled for another day of the week. Fast forward to the appointment day, Sofia informed me that Dr Akinyele was no longer with the practice, and I would be seeing Dr. David. When he examined the area, he stated it did not look good, and I would need to have more bone graft and pay a new fee. Sofia came to the exam room with $1000 treatment plan (She tried to bill my insurance for the crown that was previously included in the implant treatment plan by the office manager) which I immediately complained about it since I had already paid nearly $2000 on the day of the surgery. Although She changed the amount to $250, I was not happy but had no options. Not only Dr. David extracted the implant placed by the previous dentist, but he also placed more bone graft and stiches while seeing other patients. I was left with a gauze in my mouth waiting for him to finish with other patients that was not acceptable and left the office worrying about what it would happen. I was scheduled to come back in 30 days to see if he could place the implant. After two post-surgery appointments, he had determined that I had significant bone loss, and an implant could not be placed (04/03/2025). Since he mentioned that my case was difficult to him and other dentists, I asked him why Dr. Akinyele and the office manager wrote an implant treatment plan at the first place, and he could not answer me. Even though he suggested removing the surrounding tooth with two crowns on my other teeth for a bridge in the previous appointment, I would like to have a second opinion from a different provider. Lastly, I asked the office manager for the refund, she told me that her billing department does not work on Fridays and would take a few days to get back to me for the refund amount. Although I paid them in timely manner, the office does not provide refunds and only wants the insurance overpayment money as credit for future treatment. This business practice is very unethical and deceptive。 UPDATE: The office manager called me to let me know that Dr. David has a note on my profile that I have a vitamin D deficiency, and the refund would be a small portion amount paid. It will take 3-4 weeks to receive the check. Dr. David wrongly assumed that I had a vitamin D deficiency because I told him that Dr. Akinyele had advised me to take vitamin D, but he did not allow me to finish the conversation. Luckly, my lab work shows that my vitamin D is in normal range without any chronic condition. I see the reasons now why Dr. David made this false diagnosis, so Crystal creek Dental does not have to take any responsibility and keep the money. Please DO NOT GO to this dental office if you want to be treated fairly. I wrote this review to bring awareness and protect the public from financial harm. read more

Went there on Dec 9th for yearly check up, hygienist was UNETHICAL. They tried to sell me to get a deep cleaning which I did NOT need (Quoting me for $314.20 for upper teeth, and another $314.20 for lower teeth WITH the insurance DHMO). So I went to another local dental clinic this morning, they said I did not need a deep cleaning paid out of my pocket ($113) since I do not have PPO. I've been to this dentist twice now. I'm not going back. I'm just not impressed. I'm a loyal patient to doctors and dentists. I had my last dentist for 8 years then I moved to Texas. This facility is not warm and inviting. The girls behind the reception desk are just doing a job. It's not personal. I've not like either of the technicians that cleaned my teeth. Both dentists that saw me, spend less than a couple of minutes in the room. The guy hygienist who cleaned my teeth the first visit insulted me a few times. His cleaning was mediocre. The lady who cleaned my teeth the second time did the WORST cleaning in my teeth that I've ever had done. WORST! She also talked about her vegetable garden the whole time. She tried to talk to me about why I should like Texas (moved here a year ago and I don't like it here) then decided to advise me where I should move. I told her I liked the desert and AGAIN gave me all the trains why I shouldn't like the desert. It was super annoying. The dentist who saw me the first time, tried to talk me into a new bridge which would be ALOT of money. I didn't NEED a bridge but she thought I should get one because it would help my smile. I mean, I didn't know this center well enough to trust her and already she's trying to upsell me. That rubbed me the wrong way. She also did this to my husband. She tried to talk him into grafting of his gums on his first visit. Huh?! While in the waiting room, I heard there receptionist tell a patient who just finished having her teeth cleaned that her discounted subscription (she evidently didn't have insurance) was no longer offered. So instead of paying $30, she owed $159. what?!?! You wait to tell her AFTER she had her teeth cleaned?? She was in shock. I have used Dr. Le's Plano Crystal Creek office for more than 5 years. The office staff changed dramatically for the worse after COVID. The Office Manager (Keela) is condescending and clueless. Dr. Le is a skilled dentist, but that means nothing when he treats loyal customers so rudely. Dr. Le has ignored my numerous calls over the last three months to discuss the mistakes made by his staff. A single call-back would have prevented this negative review. I had 3 root canals done at the same time (paid cash) and within one year, I've had to see a specialist and pay thousands of dollars to have them redone. They asked me who did them and how long it took (the answer, Crystal Creek & less than 1.5 hours for all 3) and the Endodontist confirmed they could maybe have done ONE in 1.5 hours but 3 in that time frame is not possible even for the best specialists. Needless to say, Crystal Creek does not care about your dental health at all... They only care about making a quick buck. All 3 teeth they did a root canal on became infected because they are downright incompetent & deceitful... the infection I got was probably one of the worst pains I've ever felt in my life. I have been going to Crystal creek for over 15 years now... but recently, they've changed their policies to constantly charge several hundred dollars for even preventive services such as cleaning. I got a quote for $550 for teeth deep cleaning... they took the X-rays and billed to the insurance but DID NOT CARE to provide the preventive services to me on that visit. I can't say enough good things about this office...... Lots of great attributes but first and foremost...... work completed PAIN FREE..... a near first for me!! Additionally, communication is great, texts/voicemail and while there was a short delay, they kept me posted throughout. As an adult, I had a lot of dental work and these experiences not only left me with a debit in my savings but a terrified reaction to the need of any dental work. Although I have regular exams, my most recent exam revealed that I needed 2 crowns and a filling. They had state of the art equipment and showed me the x-rays and photos of the areas of concern. I was provided with a written quote for the work to be done and allowed to schedule on my own with no pressure. With my anxiety high, I arrived to have one crown and filling completed. Due to a scheduling error, they only had me booked for a filling. In an effort to quell my anxiety or just good customer service, Dr. Dawood completed both in the same visit.... with ZERO pain! I couldn't be happier and my return for the other crown will be met with much less anxiety! I had a dental emergency this weekend, and they got me right in on a Sunday. Everyone was amazing!!! I had two wisdom teeth cut out and another tooth extracted. They seemed very knowledgable. The staff was super friendly, and the price was very reasonable. Our nurse was great, and her and the dentist put me right at ease. We had the pleasure of meeting the GM of all the locations. Do not work with Dr. Uddin! Dr Uddin is a bold faced liar, and does not stick to his word. I came in with severe pain, I was diagnosed with an infected wisdom tooth and prescribed anti-biotics before having my wisdom teeth pulled. I had my wisdom teeth pulled 5 days later when the infection was cleared up. He would not sign supporting documents from my work's HR department that allowed me to be off, even though he signed a written note excusing my absence due to my infection I saw them for. After hours of back and forth, trying to get office staff to answer phone or emails, they still refuse to simply change a date. Now I am facing repercussions at my job because Dr. Uddin refused to back up his word on paper, and contradicted himself for no apparent reason. read more

I purchased their Groupon deal for exam, xrays, cleaning and tooth whitening gel and they got me in the same day that I called to ask about availability prior to purchasing the Groupon. My appointment was at 6pm; they were super prompt. I wasn't even done filling out my new patient paperwork before they called me to the back. They have a lot of high tech gadgets I have haven't seen before at my past dentist offices. My dental hygienist was very kind and I felt like she did a thorough job cleaning my teeth while being mindful of my comment that I have VERY sensitive gums. The dentist's dental exam wasn't the most detailed I've ever had. He was in and out in less than 3 minutes. It's either because I used a Groupon and he couldn't be bothered to spend a standard amount of time with me or I have really good teeth that didn't warrant more time. After two years of braces and 14 teeth pulled- yes FOURTEEN, that's not a typo- I am pretty OCD about my teeth and do spend a ridiculous amount of time brushing so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and go with I just have a easy case of chompers. Called Crystal Creek for an appointment for tooth pain. I left a message and received a call back. Appt. was scheduled for a next day visit. I went to the office the next day, checked in with their friendly staff. I was given X-rays and a consult with the doctor. Dr. Dawood was very friendly and explained my dental problem to me in a way that was easy to understand. I went ahead and agreed to the root canal and crown. I received the root canal the same day. During the procedure the doctor and staff made me feel really comfortable and always checked to make sure there was no pain. They also worked out an easy payment plan, cause I didn't have dental insurance, which really made me happy. So my take aways from this office is friendly staff, knowledgeable doctor, and comfort and pain control was their top priority. I'm done with this dental office. I don't like the way they conduct business. I've gone to this dental office for over 10 years and in the last 3 years the professionalism of the office personnel and dental staff has drastically fallen off, especially the front office. Also, the dentist only spends 3 minutes or less with you and doesn't even introduce themselves to you. The front office told me they were going to credit my account in a week because of a previous incorrect charge. They didn't do it. I then spoke to the dentist in person about it. I hate to write a bad review, because the staff is friendly and always smiling, but unfortunately from an operational standpoint, they are downright incompetent. Allow me to explain. When I first visited to get an analysis and quote for having my wisdom teeth removed, I was told a total cost amount and also that I could split the payment up into two parts, the first being on the day of my surgery. Terrific. A few days later I get a call from their office manager, telling me she needs to collect payment now, and they can't see me if I didn't pay in advance. Not only was she asking for the total amount, but the amount she had was way wrong, and drastically higher than my original quote that I signed off on. After finally getting the payment amount right, I go ahead and pay the total amount upfront. Even though I was told otherwise. Then the night before my appointment, I get a call saying they have to bump up my appointment a few hours. Ok fine, these things happen. Then, as I'm on my way to my newly scheduled time, I get a phone call asking where I am. What? A few weeks after the surgery, I then get a bill in the mail for more money. You've got to be kidding me. Here's the too long, didn't read recap: The office manager is extremely incompetent at her job, and honesty shouldn't be in charge of operations. Nice lady, but from a business standpoint, an absolute nightmare. I can excuse a few bad interactions with a company. Nobody is perfect. But literally every interaction from start to finish was sloppy, unorganized, and contradictory. Just wanted to say that Dr. Le and their assistants have been great. They've treated me several times, and I've always had a great experience. But the front desk is extremely rude. Every time I'm a few minutes late, they threaten to cancel my appointment and charge me every minute I'm late. I tried to be nice and apologize, but they shrug and are not personal at all. I have been going to them for years now. I really like Dr. Le, he is super, super nice! They always remind me when I need to get my next appointment, which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on the person - for me, it's an awesome thing because they send it by text/e-mail and then I'll set up my appointment shortly afterward. I love the fact that their office is super clean and they are very high tech. it's nice to be able to sit back in the chair and have a tv to stare at on the ceiling. I also like that they have people working for them for a long time, because there is always the same nice girl that works at the reception desk. This means they are good employers! Unfortunately, I can't give any feedback on my actual experience because I show up to my confirmed appointment on time and they were closed! My appointment was scheduled for today at 4:45pm (I have an email confirmation). I show up early to fill out any forms, and when I arrive the door is locked. Thinking maybe this was a precaution due to Covid, I call, and after ringing for about a minute a gentleman named Taylor answers. I inform him I have a 4:45pm appointment but the doors are locked. He said they closed at 1pm. I give him my info and he's able to locate my appointment it in the computer. He says that my appointment was on a computer that was turned off??? Here's where I have many issues as a first time client - #1 there was no call to confirm my appointment which was made days ago, only the email. #2 There was no communication or follow up indicating they were closing early and that I would need to reschedule. Instead, I take off work early to ensure I make it on time and drive out of my way for an "I'm sorry, I don't know what to tell you." So he takes my info and is going to relay it to someone to call me back. I'm not interested in returning to a business that gives zero consideration for communication and inconveniencing their clients when they have an appointment calendar!
