Horrible and dishonest communication. We were told that they're rep Jason service our pool. When we checked our cameras, no one came out. We were also told on another occasion that our 15-year-old dog rushed Jason, we checked our cameras, and that never happened as well. This is what years of pool service looks like with Crystal Clear Pool Service. 3 weeks after canceling my pool service, this is what I found. Even more shocking is that they claim that my filter was cleaned mid-May (3 months ago), which BTW cost me an extra $150 on top of my monthly service fee. When I called and questioned Catherine about what had been done to service my pool all this time , she dismissed my question by turning the attention to my tone of voice with her. She accused me of yelling at her, threatened to send me to collections, and then hung up on me and blocked my calls from there on. Worst experience ever with a pool service. If you see a previous yelp review from me with 5 stars, just know that Catherine personally asked me to give a good yelp review as a favor for allowing me to pay my balance in payment. It leads me to believe that any good yelp review of theirs was either as a favor from a customer or a personal friend/family. read more

Zero stars. Are these people actually business owners???? Catherine is very rude (think mean girl in school). She has a very sassy attitude and is completely lost when it comes to customer service. She told me that I had the dogs outside, which was a downright lie. ( I watched my video surveillance to confirm.) another time she called me after she left my house saying that they couldn't access the back yard because there were too many obstructions. Wouldn't go back. Never even rang the doorbell. Just left. I guess they don't need my business. She doesn't respond to most text messages and when I call her, I cannot believe her attitude! This company isn't worth my hard earned money. I only wish I had read these reviews before hiring them. read more

Can I give 0 stars? Absolute worst service I have ever received. Argumentative management who looked for any excuse to NOT do what we paid for. We have two gates to our backyard. We were clear when we signed up what gate we wanted to be used because we would leave it unlocked, and they would approached the locked gate and then not service the pool. They also won't return to service your pool because they won't be back in your area until next week. And when you call to speak with them about it they will deny ever being informed of anything and tell you you're wrong. Keep in mind, this is like a two person crew. We started using this company when we moved into our new house. They are an absolute joke. Cathrine will try to up sell you for parts and repairs. They skipped two weeks in December, one for Christmas and one for New Years. No communication from them until I called and asked. Cathrine stayed that they had spent "extra time" cleaning before and after the holidays. She must have not known that my house is surrounded by cameras. Her "extra time" was 5 minuets total! After canceling she made me aware that I had to give 30 days, which was fine but when I tried to contact her to give a proper 30 day notice she ignored my texts and emails. She called me on the phone a week later in a fit stating that she had a family member in the ICU. Not my problem, your running a business, you need to communicate. After asking about the notice she became upset and said she had filled our spot and is going to now going charge me for a repair that was never agreed on and then hung up on me. Cathrine is vey unprofessional. She is also operating without a state contractors license. The state was contacted for enforcement action. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! They will rip you off and treat you like trash. read more

After having her go out to look at a investment property that had a major pool issue, The pool apparently is in really bad shape. She called me and said she refuses to go to the other property cause she doesn't deal with this kind of mess and that she's not going anywhere near the pool. This is the worst pool company ever. This company serviced my pool for three months. I had a $200 start up service fee and then was told to add salt. I was then informed that our new salt cell was broken. Paid $65 to have a service call performed and was told that the salt cell was perfect. Apparently the pool had way too much salt in it so it could not work properly. This company just kept dumping chlorine in our salt pool instead of testing the level of salt. When I called to question why I was told that the salt cell was broken I was dismissed as a customer and they refuse to service our pool now. So disappointed in this company. read more

This is one of the worst pool services we have encountered over last 30 years in Fresno. Even though they have lasted with us almost three years it has been a constant struggle when dealing with Cathy and her rude attitude toward her customers. Cathy believes that she knows all about pools and physics - which she does NOT, and believes that all her customers are dumb - which is not true either. I have kindly ignored her diagnosis of a "leak in the pool" which she confused with evaporation or need to buy chlorine dispenser from her for $19.90 which I bought for $4.99. However, when I send her a picture of how to clean and unblock my pool sweep, which clearly did not work for couple of weeks during my absence and I receive this (copy of her email): "please don't say I'm not doing my job correctly, and you are supposed to clean your pool when there is a storm" - I decided to let her go and spend my $95 a month on a service that actually works FOR ME. These people are absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had an absolute emergency with a pool that suddenly turned green with a graduation party scheduled in five days. Although we weren't yet customers, they responded immediately to our call, diagnosed the problem, scheduled a complete drain and re-fill the next evening (overnight to prevent cracked plaster) and re-balanced the chemicals. The pool was truly crystal clear on the third day. Their pricing is reasonable and they know what they're doing. I can't imagine getting my pool serviced by anyone else. read more

Refuses to do business with you if your home is West of 99.. They should post this on their ad so they don't waste a potential customers time. Also, quotes different price of what's posted on their website & justifies it by saying that special is for our current customers. read more
