Quoted me a decent price on CD duplication with 4-panel eco-wallets, but it was all downhill after that. Following slick salesmanship, terrible communication and completely lackluster customer service, I received CDs that were glued to the packaging. Instead of replacing the damaged CDs as I requested, they simply cleaned them off and repackaged them... telling me that it was "good news" that they were "saved". Even though customer service had been terrible, quality control had been non-existent, and I had already given out bunk CDs to industry reps that could easily have gotten me blacklisted (in the worst case the glue on the CDs could have ruined optical drives), Crystal Clear was unwilling even to give me a few extra CDs as compensation. Absolutely terrible... I will never use again. RESPONSE TO JIM BELOW: And the plop thickens. Yes, after having glued my CDs to the packaging, they replaced the packaging, BUT NOT THE CDs (they just wiped them off)... and then made it seem like a favor because they were doing it for free. Really? As for there only being a dozen or so errors, I MYSELF FOUND MORE THAN A DOZEN WHEN RANDOMLY SAMPLING THE BOXES THAT I SENT BACK. So I guess I must have randomly found the only ones that were bad. Really? Then again, Jim also told me that this is the only time he had ever seen this mistake. Really? The only one out of his thousands of orders? Either I'm one super-unlucky musician, or something doesn't quite add up. I have no idea how Crystal Clear Media group isn't more well-known/more recommended in the independent musician community. I was contacted by Jim when I completed my indiegogo campaign, and the prices and professionalism sold me on using Crystal Clear. The communication was very straight forward, and Jim even took the time out of his family vacation to have a 20-minute phone conversation with me on a weekend when I needed some clarification. My mastering process took way longer than expected because I needed to outsource the mastering process several times to get the tracks right. I had a deadline to meet not only because of promises I made to indiegogo contributors, but also because I had scheduled a 6-week German tour that was getting closer and closer due to missed mastering deadlines. Crystal Clear was very patient and flexible with my timeline that continued to change, and when everything was finally ready, they went above and beyond to get my CDs finished and do a partial overnight shipping to get me enough CDs in time for my overseas tour and to send out to my indiegogo contributors before I left. The partial order even came TWO DAYS EARLY. Which was amazing for my already tight schedule. The CDs look amazing and sound great. I tested several in each box, and so far there have been zero issues. I will definitely be recommending Crystal Clear to any and all musicians I encounter who have a new project they need printed. I am even considering reprinting my previous albums with Crystal Clear when I return from tour, so that all of my CDs will look as professional as the ones Crystal Clear just printed. After reading the other reviews for this company, i decided to go with them for the duplicating of 2 separate CD's. They are very fast on turn around. 5 stars for that. Since i didn't have the original artwork they scanned the artwork on the CD. When i viewed the scans for approval, I was concerned with the quality. I called and they assured me it looked darker on my laptop. When I got the one CD order in, the back panel is so dark you can barely read the words! The kicker is Jim said since customers had never seen the original product they wouldn't know the difference. The difference is they can't read the song titles! Then he said they would give me a discount on my next order....like there will be a next order. Use these people if you want fast products. Don't use them for quality work. read more

With this being our first release as a band, we were not sure what company to go thru to produce our CD's. We looked into many companies but it was CCM that stood out from the rest right from the start. Professional, informative, customer service friendly company that puts out an amazing product that any artist would be proud to release. Crystal Clear made what is usually the most tedious part of the recording process and made it a joy. I almost used DiscMakers instead, because of the name, even though Crystal Clear's estimate was about 30% lower than DM. I figured there must be a reason why Crystal Clear was coming in so much lower. But I was wrong - their product is absolutely first rate. I even had them design the print materials, and they look absolutely fabulous. Their turnaround time was exactly what they said it would be (which was quite good), and they delivered a day early.
