The employees were nice and can system search by author/title, but they couldn't do a search by general topic/genre.

The prices are almost insulting to other stores. Seriously, I've paid more for a cup of coffee than I have for some of the books here. You'd almost feel guilty... except you don't, because you're too busy carrying out a stack taller than your torso. The staff is excellent -- actually helpful, not the fake "let me know if you need anything" kind. They've tracked down what I came in looking for, and then somehow convinced me to walk out with three more titles I didn't even know existed. My shelves at home are groaning under the weight of their recommendations, but sure, suggest me another series. Why not. I've been a regular for about a year now, and as long as I live in Massachusetts, this will be one of the few places I actually look forward to throwing money at. You never know what you'll find here, which is exactly why I keep coming back.

I walked out with Michelle Obama's book in mint condition for $5. Unreal. Inside is full of wall to wall coverage of books and vinyls. Heaven. It's very tidy and everything is organized by genre for both the books and the vinyls. The friendliest man works here - I believe he's the store owner. Very welcoming, softspoken, and extremely knowledgeable. Anytime I have a question, he knows where to point me. Not to mention he's always turning the tunes for a cozy and welcoming feel as you browse. Couldn't recommend this place more. Go check em out!

They will lower the price if you call them out on their shenanigans, though, so be diligent. Their recent arrivals section is usually pretty good, but the normal, already alphabetized stuff are pretty common records but marked up due to location. Honestly, I only ever look through the recent arrival stuff when I stop in nowadays. But again, check the editions before buying because they will absolutely claim it's a rarer edition when it's certainly not.

One of the staff members assisted with unloading and spent about an hour reviewing and organizing the items. While we were a bit disappointed not to sell everything, the staff was thorough in explaining their selection process and even recommended other places where we might have better luck. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely return.

I call him and tell him how I have this record I just received that needs a deep clean as it's very important to me and I've been looking for it for 10+ years (probably won't see another copy again) and it arrived to me dirty & figure the play could improve with a clean. He says he doesn't do one record, he does batches of nine. I told him I'm not interested in doing a batch of nine but I will pay him whatever it cost for a batch of nine or whatever just to clean this ONE record. Literally ready to pay whatever with no problem. Apparently money wasn't talking in this situation because he still doesn't care for or answer my concern or offer his service but proceeds to ask me 21 questions about my WHOLE collection (like he's trying to clean all of my records to get more money) and is more concerned with retaining me as a returning customer before I even paid a dime. He even asks me how do I clean all my records? What tools do I use? Why is that your concern? I'm calling to pay YOU for a service to clean ONE record ‍ After being annoyed & pitched all these different things for 10 minutes straight which I didn't want and kept telling him that, I proceeded to just say I'll send you nine records if you really want just so I can get this one record cleaned to which he replies now he's scared to work with me because I "sound aggressive" & he doesn't want any problems? All I was trying to do was give you money for a service That place should go under the town of Holliston! What a mess.
