Had an amazing experience at Cryoaid today . Went in with some shoulder soreness from MMA and came out feeling amazing . Spot treatment was very relaxing with instant gratification. The leg compressions treatment was nice and very effective at reducing swelling . My friend was with me and she's a Pro Fighter just coming back from a match . She did the cryo chamber and loved it . She felt better a few mins after getting out . It's was a simple 3 mins Chill , for me anyways ( I watched ) . She also enjoyed the leg compressions and spot treatment for swollen ankles . I highly recommend Cryo aid to everyone !!

Splendore Studio Aesthetics in St Helena is a total game-changer! I decided to give their…read morecryotherapy a shot, and boy, am I impressed! Not only did I shed some inches, but I also gained a whole lot of confidence to rock that summer bikini with a big smile on my face! Robin at Splendore knows how to make you feel like a million bucks while feeling like catching up with an old friend! Cryotherapy sessions were surprisingly enjoyable, and the results are REAL. 10/10 would recommend!

I called around town and the nail salons either didn't do acrylic fills and those that did didn't have gel nail polish.. . I randomly called Splendore, even though there were no Yelp reviews to go off of. Luckily, she had a cancellation and was able to see me right away!! I was a little skeptical about trying this place out, however when I saw the place and meet the owner, Robin, I was shocked that our Yelp community hasn't reviewed this rustic shabby chic salon. It was so nicely decorated and Robin did a great job on my nails. I don't like them long and to look natural. She was able to give the look I love! She had a huge movie collection and Netflix, allowing her customers to catch up on their shows. She marks down where the show or movie left off for the next time they come in for nail or pedi service. Robin was so friendly. I also got my eyebrows shaped in her aesthetics room. I told her I had scars in my eyebrows and she filed them in with a brow filler before I left. She's a perfectionist which is exactly what you need when getting your nails or eyebrows done. She didn't charge me for shaping my brows, she made me coffee and heated it up for me before I left. Way to take care of your clients! She also does facials, body treatment, waxing and microdermabrasion. Next time I'm in town, I'm going to have her give me a facial. Robin was amazing and her service and personally was impeccable.

After enjoying a floating sauna and cold plunge in the Norwegian fjords this summer, my family…read moreasked why we don't have such an experience in the Bay Area. Lo and behold, we do! I spent a most relaxing afternoon in Rockridge, first trying to "fire and ice," then floating in a salt water pod. I loved the privacy in the sauna, braving the 45 degree water, and was so relaxed that I fell asleep while floating. It was a magical experience. Highly recommended!

Tried this place for the first time on a Wednesday, party of 2. Had a 11am appointment and I…read morebelieve it was around $99 per person. This was my first experience doing a sensory deprivation tank / float pool. Pros: - The staff member who helped us was super kind, and answered all our questions and gave us good prep / tour of the rooms before. - The facility pretty much provides everything you would need, including swim ear plugs, towels, shampoo/soap, flip flops once you walk in. - overall my tank experience was really positive - they have these large rubber buttons on each side of the tank that allow you to turn on/off the peaceful music as well as the soft lights, and you can kind of choose your own adventure by getting out or getting back in whenever you want. The tank is also very easy to open from the inside, and they provide neck supports / head supports if you like. - It was interesting relaxing and being with my thoughts - at times it almost got too quiet and dark for me so I did have to turn on the lights briefly haha - There's also a vanity area with a hairdryer, combs, petroleum jelly etc that you can use after - There's a relaxing area in the back with some couches , so it's a perfect area to decompress if you need to wait for your friend to finish up Cons: - This was more a user error on my part - I didn't take my contact lenses out when I got into the pool and I think I accidentally got salt water in my eyes, so I did have to get out once just to take them out. Don't make the same mistake as me haha - Parking can be tricky in this area, but we did paid street parking - My room ran out of shampoo for the post-float shower so that was unfortunate - the right side button to turn on the lights in my pool was very hard to turn on ( I almost had to punch it) compared to the music light, which can be tricky also to feel around for in the dark (but also, this may be my user error lol) Overall I had a really positive first experience and wouldn't mind trying it again. Everyone was super professional.
