My biggest issue continues to be the OWNER repeatedly canceling my appointments. This has happened more than once, and it is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Customers arrange their schedules around appointments, and our time should be respected too. What makes this especially disappointing is that the cancellations are coming from the owner herself. As the owner of a business, I would expect you to set the example when it comes to reliability, communication, and customer service. If a customer repeatedly canceled appointments, I'm sure it would be considered unacceptable and they could potentially be charged a cancellation fee. So why should customers be expected to simply accept repeated cancellations from the business? I have tried to be patient, but there is only so much inconvenience a customer should have to tolerate. I am leaving this review because this was genuinely my experience, and other customers deserve to know what they may encounter when booking here.

I was hesitant to get it colored because I do love my grays but a girl might need a change. (Ugh, decisions, decisions) I texted Fernanda the day before about being torn between color or no color. I walked in around 1pm the next day, was quickly greeted by Fernanda and we chatted about my color. She told me she would prefer not to add highlights only because I'd go back to having to get it retouched every 6-8 weeks and because she loves the way my grays look. So I said I'd come in sick with a mask on to my appointment in order for them not to charge a cancellation fee. They said I couldn't come into my appointment either because I'm sick. So basically they won't let me go to my appointment, but they also won't waive the fee for keeping me out for being sick. Wtf? These people are seriously unprofessional and rude. Any other salon would've understood and simply waive the fee like a real business who treats their customers well. Not to mention my first experience there when the employees gossiped about other clientele the whole time to each other and then smile to your face as you fill their pockets, wtf was that about and why are they doing this in-front of customers in the chair?! I really tried to give this place another chance, I had hopes for this place based on reviews, I came to realize later a lot of those nice yelp reviews came from their friends, yes I can tell. There are definitely better salons out there that are authentic and courteous and I was lucky to find a better one with higher standards for how they run their business and treat people and been with them ever since. No acknowledgment. Another stylist asked who I been waiting for and she let Maritza know. STILL NO ACKNOWLEDGMENT from Maritza. She was busy mixing color. That already had me question cuz my daughter only needed a haircut. Another person whose been waiting got up & said she was waiting for the same person. The person who politely helped us went to Maritza and then that stylist had BOTH OF US SIT right next to each other. No acknowledgement yet again. She proceeds to bring over 2 carts over. Looks like she was going to tend to both of us. Other person was getting color ' my daughter needed just a cut. She placed the towel on the other client. No acknowledgment still. I didn't feel my daughter should have her hair cut in a rush and trying to do someone else and yet we still haven't got a simple HELLO. I took my daughter and told her "We will not have her get her hair cut by her" and guess what.... She just said "Ok." Like she was relieved that she didn't have to do 2 os us. THANK YOU FOR BEING RUDE. This was our first experience here & definitely the last. Shortly after we left, I got a text saying our appt was canceled.
