Pepperoni pizza slice and garlic aioli fries.
Ari W.

The pizza was a little thinner than I prefer but it was still good. The fries came in a huge portion for the price and the garlic aioli was amazing. It was even good on the pizza! This place is a little small but very comfortable. The cashier takes your order and brings the food to your table if you're dining in. It was a tasty lunch and a good value. I will be back!

Crispy chicken, Yum

I consider myself a regular. I love the staff, the food, the convenience etc. Greeted by Aleah(sp?) starts the experience. The menu is great. Making a decision is sometimes hard because they are all so good. Today I had the crispy chicken salad. The chicken is unreal. Portion is great and the crispy chicken, itself, is even better. Their homemade dressings round out the whole deal. From the homemade soups to the brownie, you can't go wrong. Keep it up. We need places like this in the mid town area!!

was a little nervous because we came when yelp said we had 45 min to close. just as we pulled in they were taking their outdoor signs down but they told us come on in and order! we got the pepperoni monster slice ($5.50) and penne pasta w 2 homemade meatballs ($11) lol, i will let the pic speak for itself. it was HUGE!! meatballs tasted great, pasta sauce was a little runny for my liking but phenomenal experience. after we ordered we sat outside & they quickly brought our food to us so we could start digging in!

Their enormous pizzas!

I was excited to see that Crust had opened a second location closer to downtown and much closer to my work! Their original location is in Tremont. The pizza restaurant serves enormous pizzas as well as pizzas by the slice. It's a quick and delicious lunch. You can order a whole pizza or customize a slice or two. They have many different topics from specialty cheeses to meats and fresh veggies. One of the best things about the pizza is the crust. It's soft and flavorful. Crust also offers different salads and pasta. If you're looking for a flavorful, quick and inexpensive lunch Crust is your place!

Huge Slice. (Lemon rosemary chicken)

This is not your run of the mill pizza shop. You can tell they really care about their products, everything is fresh, they take the time to hand make all their pizza dough, bread and gnocchi. The staff is very freindly and food is quick. We ordered their longer than your arm lemon rosemary chicken pizza slice. (garlic roasted potato, fresh rosemary, mozz, tomatoes, feta, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, and black pepper). The combination of flavors was great. The chicken was moist, loved the fragrance of the rosemary and the dough was amazing. Roasted eggplant sub. (Baby arugala, roasted tomatoes, pecorino romano, smoked mozz, tomatoes basil mayo). This is one of the best eggplant sandwiches we have ever had. The eggplant was sliced into large pieces and roasted to perfection. They cut the eggplant in nice large pieces so the finished product was not mushy and the smoked mozz and tomato basil mayo rounded it out perfectly. Mushroom Ricotta Gnocchi. (mixed mushrooms, fresh rosemary, garlic, white truffle oil in a light parmesan cream sauce). The gnocchi was soft and tender. The mushrooms had great texture, but the amount of sauce on the dish just over powered everything. For me it needed about half of the sauce it had and a little more seasoning. They really do a great job and make great food. We had a great experience and will definitely return.

I haven't written a review in a while, but damn, I gotta say something about Crust. Yes, it's true the slices are as big as your head. Such novelty may lead you to believe that this place is all about size (*hey now*). Not true at Crust! I've quickly become a regular to this pizza/salad/sub joint near China Town. The pizza is excellent, sold by both the slice and whole pie. The crust (the best part) is chewy and crispy with a soft center. Melts in your mouth. The toppings are super fresh. No canned mushrooms here! The subs are my new fav. They make the bread fresh every day. Same goodness as the pizza. A big pet peeve of mine is biting in to a sub with crusty bread and having the contents spray my lunch mate in the face. Not happening at Crust. The bread is crusty enough to have a good texture, but soft enough to bite through easily. So far, I've tried the Philly, Chicken Parm and Club. All are excellent. If you want something sweet, I highly recommend the brownie. It's cake-like, nice and gooey and rich. Leave some room for these babies! Having said all this, I'm afraid I may have to switch to salads. Otherwise, I won't be able to fit in the door. Love you, Crust!

The menu!

I've been to the crust in Tremont and decided to try this new location since I work downtown. The pizza is great and affordable! I love getting a slice and adding the stuffed banana peppers. Pluses... The location is much bigger and definitely has more table Space so you can come with a group & the pizza is still great Down side.. I miss the big wooden pizza plates from the Tremont location, and the crust seems a little more "well done"... Maybe they're breaking in the new oven?? Overall, good on the go food and prices. You pay $4.50 for the slice then you pay $1 or $2 for extra toppings-can't beat that!

Found this place by accident, I was driving around Cleveland and needed to pull off the main road to look something up and we pulled in here and decided this would be a good place for lunch. I'm glad we went here as the pizza was great. They had 4-6 out and I got a slice from a couple of them and my wife got a couple slices too. The toppings were great, the crust was great, it was a good place to take a break for lunch.

Penne pasta with mushroom, cream sauce, and truffle oil!
Bridget G.

Oh my lord! Delicious and such a good deal. I ordered the Penne pasta mushroom Parmesan cream sauce with truffle oil and it was AMAZING. The cream sauce was delicious and it had hints of rosemary in it I believe. it was a much larger portion than I expected. DEFINITELY a great price. In terms of the giant one slice I ordered, it is amazing. I love NY style pizza and this is delicious. The crust is crispy but not too crispy. The sauce is amazing and I generally don't like red sauce. This is a solid 5 stars!

A Fantastic Italian Dining Experience in Cleveland's Little Italy!…read more We absolutely chose the right Italian restaurant! Mia Bella checks all the boxes for a fantastic meal: a great vibe, kind and attentive service, and excellent food packed with authentic Italian flavor. Every dish was excellent, and the experience was made even better by our wonderful waitress, who recommended a glass of wine that paired beautifully with my lamb chops. It was a solid choice! Pro tip: Get a shot of limoncello to enjoy alongside your authentic Italian meal. It's a great way to add a little extra Italian flair to the experience! From the atmosphere and service to the food and drinks, Mia Bella hit all the marks. If you're visiting Cleveland's Little Italy and looking for a memorable Italian meal, this place is well worth a visit. Five stars and two thumbs up! The vibe is very relaxed inside . People were dressed up, people were dressed down; it is very comfortable. I apologized to the hostess for wearing a hoodie and leggings - I had just had surgery and my hotel was further out. She smiled and ushered us in. If you are in Cleveland and want to experience Little Italy , I have been told that all of the restaurants are lovely- Mia Bella has our vote!

OpenTable gave us a 9 PM reservation. When we arrived, we came to find out that they actually technically closed at 9 PM. But because OpenTable gave us the reservation, they seated us anyway. The service was amazing. The food really was the kind of old-school Italian food that used to exist in Chicago, but doesn't anymore. The cozze with fennel sausage was amazing. The rucola salad was a very fresh classic expression of the staple. The pappardelle bolognese reminded me of an experience in Rome at Osteria del Sostegno. It was the highest expression of. bolognese and I've only had its equal two other times in my life. Graziamille.

Palazzo is an Italian restaurant in the Edgewater neighborhood. My friends invited me to the…read morespecial dinner here - Black Italian Truffle Dinner at Palazzo. I'm not truffle connoisseur, but decided to try something new. Based on our conversation with the chef who approached our table after dinner, he was dreaming of hosting this dinner forever. There was always something that came in the way until this decadent evening. I'll share my experience from the special dinner. AMBIENCE: Palazzo is like a gallery meets fine Italian restaurant. There are plenty sculptures including Michelangelo's David replica. Paintings of ballerinas reminding me of Degas. Walls of wine bottles, predominance of stone accents, and a small vase fountain transport you to Italy. Touches like backlights and wine bottle walls make the atmosphere romantic. The restaurant has multiple dining room spaces. There is also a wooden bar. There is also a covered patio. During our visit the restaurant was extremely crammed. The dinner was sold out. Tables were so close together that it was challenging to navigate between them. Guests had to move their tables to let someone pass through - other patrons or staff. I did not feel comfortable with these seating arrangements. The restaurant was very extremely loud. I couldn't sit comfortably without bumping my chair into other guests. I'm not sure how the dining layout looks like during regular days. Hopefully there is more room at the restaurant. The bathroom is in the basement, so not ADA accessible. The ceiling in the bathroom was awkwardly low. FOOD: Our dinner was 6 course experience for $125 (no tax, no gratuity, and no drinks included). First course (Antipasto) was Pera Sacchetti - Pasta Pillows, Pear, Formaggio,Truffle Cream Sauce, Fig Balsamic. Second course (Insalata) was Arugula - Black Truffle Oil & Shaved Parmesan. Third course (La Pasta) was Cheese Tortelloni & Sea Scallops - Shaved Fresh Truffle, Butter, Garlic. Fourth course was (Pesce Pan Seared Halibut) Black Truffle Cream Sauce & Roasted Rainbow Carrots. Fifth course (Mare e Monti) was Grilled Filet Mignon Medallion & Petite Butter Poached Lobster Tail Truffle Butter & Cauliflower Purée. Sixth course (Dolce) was Truffle Cream Filled Cannoli. Every course featured generous amount truffles and was very well crafted. I loved Mare e Monti, filet mignon and lobster were well prepared. While the courses were pretty petite, the dinner was filling. Considering the dinner menu, it was good value. Beyond the dinner, my friends really enjoyed wines. I ordered Prickly Pear mocktail ($10). It was okay, but not really flavorful. It was too ginger beer forward. It was pleasant to seem multiple mocktail options. SERVICE: It was wonderful that the chef personally greeted every table. I enjoyed learning about his story. It was a nice touch for him to speak with the guests. The rest of the service was average. The hostess was not very pleasant which set a bad first impression. Our waiter was fantastic but awkward. He kept taking away wine glasses and bringing back the same glasses. There was a lot of confusion with drink orders, and the wrong bill included the wine. Perhaps this was due to handling a large crowd. EVENTS: The restaurant is planning other upcoming events. For instance, Lenten dinner ($55) on Wednesday and Friday (February 18-April 2). PARKING: The restaurant has a very small parking lot with an incline. Arrive very early if you want to secure a spot. There is really no street parking nearby. You can park at the RTA bus station across the street. Parking experience is inconvenient. I'm conflicted on how to rate this restaurant. I enjoyed dinner, presentation, mood, and personal chef approach. I didn't like the table arrangements, service, and parking. If the service was warmer and less rushed, I would be all about this restaurant.

I got the gluten free penne with arrabiata sauce. Spicy, creamy, briny because of the olives, sooooo good. They put a mozzarella on top and bake the dish, served alongside crostini. Absolutely delicious, I need to recreate this at home. Had chicken piccata and chicken Parmesan for dinner. Neither was very warm. The parm was light on sauce and I didn't get the crushed red pepper I asked for. Requested a side of marinara as the dish was light and I hoped it would add some heat. The side was well sized, but also Luke warm and didn't have a lot of flavor to it. The chicken was good, but the whole dish was skimpy on the cheese. No grated Parmesan was offered either. What an awesome find in Little Italy on a snowy, cold Cleveland night!…read more I had called ahead after doing some research via Yelp recommended eateries in this area that met my needs. I walked in to a perfect greeting and a private dining experience in an upscale setting with a professional team waiting on me! I had attended a concert at nearby Severance Hall and needed a late dinner that could accommodate a 915pm reservation which was met over the phone and in person with genuine and upscale hospitality. The dinner choice was easy - I asked for a recommendation and learned the special for the evening was veal - which is one of my favorites. I said yes and they immediately brought bread - warm with butter - a great crust on the outside and very tender/flaky on the inside. This was paired with a house salad and house dressing (Italian, of course). The salad had slices of radish and also strawberry with the greens. This meal also started by a Pasta Fagioli Soup that was excellent - just the right temp and brought was surprising speed along side the salad - surprising because it was efficient but not rushed and the temps of all were to perfection - as if they had been waiting on just little old me all night long - even though I know they had not been waiting on just me. It is obvious that they take their role seriously. They presented and provided a high quality, first rate, enjoyable and yet comfortable meal a priority. They deliver this with particular and notable expertise! Just look at that veal and the side pasta dish for the main course! Dinner was finished with a dessert of Tiramisu. This was the best Tiramisu I have ever enjoyed! I washed it down with a single shot espresso! The meal was Outstanding in every way! Bravo to the chef and the entire team! Marvelous! When I received my bill - I thought it was wrong! I even commented on it and asked to be sure. This entire meal was served fresh with detailed and excellent preparation and the best ingredients - served to perfection and the total cost was $39.12 with tax! I feel like I am robbing these people and I can tell you I left a solid tip! Amazing and awesome! I will return. Thanks to my new friend at Nido Italia in the Little Italy District on Historic Mayfield Street in beautiful Cleveland, Ohio!
