It's a super easy process and I always get in and out within 10 minutes! The place is way cleaner than before, they always offer great discounts, and I now feel very welcome here! I love that they offer "clear spray tans" because it prevents my light colored clothes from being completely ruined by the color of the tan once it develops and the tans always look great for up to a week for me! I went with the Airbrush Tan, but they also offer a booth spray tan (I just don't trust myself yet). They send you home with a pamphlet and lots of useful information if you're a newbie like me. They also offer teeth whitening. Pricing is very reasonable. I got 3 Airbrush tanning sessions for only $99, which is much cheaper than I expected. They offer lots of add-ons and great discounts if you refer other guests to Mandalay. You can also book your appointments online which makes it super easy!

Gina sprayed me both times I came in and was very meticulous, checking to make sure my tan was perfect. I loved the color and it even stayed on over a week , which I was not expecting. You can also add on hydration which I did and they spray you with a PH balancing spray. Rapid tan is another add on which significantly reduces the time before you shower. The fade of the color was slow and not obvious which was a huge plus. I look forward to going to Mandalay Mist for another perfect tan.

I've been tanning since college (planet beach, local shops, etc.) and am not too prissy about conditions but I like my equipment clean and the staff to know what they are talking about. Sick of the drive to valrico, I bought a single tan on a level 4 bed from south beach to try it out. The place was clean, towels were in fine condition, and the girls who work there (only interacted with 2 of them) were friendly and knowledgeable. I don't know if they changed management since the negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the better salons I've been to. I felt a little dumb placing so much stock in the yelp reviews before trying it out myself and now I have another 10 tans to get rid of in Valrico before I can buy a membership at south beach. TLDR; Clean beds, friendly, try a single tan for yourself before taking a few yelp reviews too seriously. (or driving to valrico!)
