The root canal guy charges a huge fee up front just in case the root canal cannot be performed. I think they are splitting these fees. When I first went there everyone was so nice but now I know they were just selling me. I was charged $1,600.00 for Invisalign AFTER I had already paid another dentist $3,000.00 to start my treatment. Dr. Wilson did not have to pay one dime for any of my new trays because they were covered through the original dentist case. So he pocketed that money. Dr. Wilson noticed my front tooth was turning dark on my first visit. However, he did not tell me. Now, months later, I have to get an expensive root canal on that tooth because of the Invisalign trays he prescribed to me. I also dealt with finance officer Kim at their office. She refused to acknowledge my issues, and refused to issue any sort of refund even after I left their office due to the problems I was having. I'm forced to file a complaint against this office. Be careful if you go there. They will act so nice at first, but then it all changes once they get your money. I am so upset. In addition, they refused to give me a new retainer, that they charged me for.

Everything seemed fine, until they told me they wanted to replace every tooth in my mouth. Surprised because I had been going to more than 1 dentist every 6 months, for years. At almost 70 years old, I wasn't looking for a Hollywood smile nor could I afford it. I continued to see a soon to be retired dentist that had been practicing in Athens for 40 years. I found out a couple months ago; my dentist sold his practice. Anxious to get a crown placed on my now year-old dental implant, I called Dr. Alex's office on 06/10/2026 and was told the doctor would look at it in the morning, and they would call me back. No return call. I just called back today, 06/15/26, and spoke to Dr. Alex's wife. She explained he was either out of the office last Thursday or didn't have time, and he doesn't work on Friday. She stated he wasn't comfortable with placing my crown on my now signed off implant. Also said Dr. Brett Gray, {Oral Surgery associates}. Dr. Gray holds 3 medical degrees and has been my doctor for over 20 years. Board certified Oral Surgeon. Maxo facial degree, and a medical degree. Emory University trained. Dr. Alex's wife stated he isn't educated in crowns. I argued. " I had 2 follow up visits to evaluate my implant at my oral surgeon. Received the green light for completion. Evidently Dr. Alex's wife knows better. By the way I was told that Dr. Alex hadn't even looked at my situation and was told to go to my current dentist that sold his practice, and is in his 70's, to place the crown. Basically, refused to see me. Very disappointed.
