Bearscat opted to accept their gift cards, so they wouldn't have to give refunds. So thoughtful! As if that wasn't enough, when the government shutdown was happening, they offered completely free grab & go breakfast bags. If you needed to eat, you could just pick up a pre-made bag. No need to order it, or ask... just pick it up from the designated area - no questions asked. Buying a full dozen? They gave you a token to pass to someone of your choice for redemption of a dozen at no additional cost. Sometimes, I wonder how they stay in business, then I remember that their financial loss is also a financial gain... as it sure makes me keep coming!

Without visible judgment passed & with a nod of understanding, I was presented 2 ready made options at $40ea. I went with the gold print 7 cookie + candy bouquet - (vs the multicolored print) to match the gold foil 3 & 0 balloons (the balloons were apparently NOT an approved item & did not pass the embarrassment test) that I stopped for en route & tied to the basket. I noticed they had a drive-thru in the front and to have inside access you had to go through the back. I got inside and everything looked nice and comfortable, I looked at the menu and spoke with the associate and asked what was the most popular dish, she gave me choices and I chose the Denver Eggel, by the way, customer service is great. My Denver Eggel consisted of Everything bagel, eggs, cheddar cheese, red onion, green peppers and ham and seasoning. The coffee was served in a big mug so I got up a few times to get refills, this was a Mexican cinnamon type of drip coffee which was pleasant. This a nice experience to sit and relax or if on the go they have the drive-thru.

I love the layout of the dining area- it's set up for different groupings and also for travelling businesspeople as the location is right near a Highway ramp area. Minot itself can be kind of a draggy place especially during long winters so Panera is a little beacon of joy in a tough place.
