I should have checked the reviews prior. I would have probably known better than to order here, so I'll try to help someone else. My son really wanted cookies from Crumbl for his birthday party instead of a cake or a cookie cake. The day before his birthday party on a Monday, I went on the website and ordered/paid for 18 mini chocolate chip cookies. I immediately realized I didn't change the day/time to the next day, but there was no way to cancel or edit it on the website. Therefore, I called the local shop immediately and asked if I can cancel/reorder with the correct day/time or edit it, and they told me it's no problem, they were able to pull it up on their end and edit to the next day at the 30-minute time window I wanted. Awesome, sounds great. Tuesday, I go to Crumbl after work, at the end of my 30 minute pickup window, about to head straight to his birthday party. I walk up to the desk, and the girl working immediately tells me "unfortunately, these are the only cookies we have right now" and gestures to the display cookies. One was a regular size chocolate chip cookie and the other one of the specialty ones. I said "Oh, I actually have an online order for pickup." "yes but these are all we have." "It was an order I paid for yesterday for today during this time..." and she very snarkily says "I underSTAND that, but we are very short staffed today and also had a lot of bulk orders so we couldn't keep up." "I was one of the bulk orders I think...are you sure it's not boxed up already?" "No because we don't do that until you get here, we can't box them up two hours ago or whenever you ordered because then they won't be fresh, so we don't have any to box up for you." "I don't think anyone contacted me about this...I don't have any emails or phone calls or anything to let me know they couldn't be fulfilled, and it's for a birthday party. I also already paid so need it refunded if it can't be fulfilled." "You can just cancel the order." "I am pretty sure I can't do that on the website..." At this point, the shift lead walks over and apologizes and explains that they are new to this and don't know how to refund it, or look up my order, but they will take my name and phone number and give that to the manager (or owner) in the morning. At this point, I'm definitely a bit annoyed because I then had to run to HyVee quick and grab him regular cookies and was a little late to his party. Wednesday, the next day, I anticipate a call from the manager but never received one. I called at the end of my work day, and the shift lead told me she gave my information to them this morning and they refunded it, and I should see it back on my card in a few days. 1. What is the point of ordering ahead online and choosing a specific pickup day/time window if they do not plan ahead to make the cookies for those preorders? It's not like other food places don't do this...if you don't arrive during your pickup window and your cookies are not "fresh," isn't that on the customer at that point? 2. If this is the system they think is acceptable, then why is there not always someone on staff working who knows how to refund these prepaid unfulfilled orders. 3. Why would they not contact customers with prepaid orders ahead of their pickup time if they're not going to be able to make their cookies that day? 4. Why would you allow an employee to be so rude and condescending to a customer that is legitimately just confused and disappointed by the fact that their prepaid order for their child's birthday party couldn't be fulfilled and nobody told them until the moment they showed up? There is no way they should be used for a party, since they don't try to make the order ready for your pickup time and don't notify you when it's not going to be able to be fulfilled until you show up there. Quite frankly, there is zero chance we will go to Crumbl again after this. The customer service was terrible. I really don't think I have ever experienced anything like that before. read more

I don't know how on earth 2 people already had reviews that says "13 hours ago." I was here for the actual grand opening, which now, was an hour ago. People shouldn't be allowed to make a review based on other stores if you didn't step foot in this one!!!! Anyways, rant over... Since "I" was here for the actual grand opening, it was a great experience! I waited a short line that didn't take too long. Inside of course, was very clean, and it was great to see so many people in there working. They have balloons adorned on the outside for the special occasion, and I love how they designed this location. I've been to the one in Eau Claire a few times. This place took nearly 2 years to open!!!! FINALLY it's here in La Crosse!!!!!! Needless to say, this will be my guilty pleasure! My cookies look perfect!! Pink sugar cookie has always been a favorite of mine. It was so delicious, as well as the Cookies n Cream pie. The Cookies n Cream Pie almost reminded me of va j g some sort of pudding. Love the little crumbles of cookie in the center. Delicious and chilled!! Crumbl is here to stay!!!!!!! ***Update*** After reading an updated review, I noticed there was a complaint to say that the Oreo pie didn't look like the advertisement. You find me me a restaurant, fast food or not, where the in-person looks like the commercial or advertisement....slim chances to none. Overly critical, but honestly, mine looked great as you can see, and tasted even better. You guys just opened and it's not supposed to look perfect yet. Over time things will get better, but to me, I think you're doing a great job so far! Keep it up!!!! read more

The cookies are good! The service, not so much. Still giving 4 stars because the cookies & "cakes" & other desserts are usually worth the wait! Even when ordering ahead for pick-up, you will wait. So give yourself enough time when visiting crumbl! read more

We attended the "soft opening" of the Onalaska Crumbl Cookie on June 5. Unfortunately, they did not offer a free cookie to customers like other Crumbl grand openings. That was a big bummer and a huge missed opportunity. The oreo pie did not look like the video or company posted photos. read more

I placed my order on Sunday for pick up on Monday 9:30-10am and paid for it. I arrived at 9:50 to be told there were no cookies and they should be ready at noon but I could get a refund. I said if they will be ready at noon I would come back again. I went back at 1:00p and they were making cookies for people who were just ordering. I asked the girl about my order and she says oh I don't think we have everything, just hold on. I preordered 18 cookies. She started making my order and they were out of the raspberry so she replaced them with chocolate chip. I stood there for over 25 mins waiting. They need to get organized. It wouldn't have been such a big deal but I was getting them for my 96 yr old grandma. Not sure I'll go back again. read more

Not very welcoming and sloooow service. The cookies were great though! The environment was also good, but maybe some clearer directions. The people from this area tend to be so "old fashioned" is the nicest way I can put it. They don't understand the technology of a cashless system either. read more
