We ordered mini cream puffs, small cannolis, plain cheesecake, Boston cream cupcake, lemon cupcake, raspberry cupcake, cream filled apple turnover, everything bars, brownie, zeppole, raspberry muffin, apple turnover, and biscotti. Fatine (proprietor) opened this bake shop years ago after finishing her undergrad and masters…read moredegree programs, when she realized baking was her passion in life. Her great grandmother Bibi influenced her with delicious treats as a young girl, and eventually with handed down recipes. Fatine humbly informed me "Bibi would be happy to know this bakery has her name". My wife and I stopped here on a weekend and enjoyed a few treats and iced coffees. Fatine told me the coffee is roasted by a close friend of hers, who comes from Florida to roast. She feels that like most everything at Bibi, this Florida connection is serendipitous. She believes that life, like baking itself, tends to just happen the way it's meant to, if you follow your passions. We plan to come back many times, there are so many tasty things we didn't get to try! Thank you Fatine !

A long standing, family owned Italian Bakery has been a part of many family parties throughout my life, and I'm glad to see they're still surviving. They offer a great variety of cookies, as well as other baked goods like breads, cakes, pies and more. Many of the cookies are sold by the pound, so my father got a couple of mixed boxes for our family reunion, getting a good mix of styles and flavors. The staff was very friendly, and patient as we filled the box. They took care to put heavier items on the bottom, as to not ruin the softer items, and were happy to make suggestions and recommendations. The selection went over really well at the party, and in the end we were left with just crumbs. Looking forward to the next opportunity I get to enjoy some tasty treats from Guarino's

The patties are as flaky as any you will find in Ocho Rios or Mo' Bay. Bought spinach and also chicken, and especially the chicken was heavenly. Like real Caribbean patties, there's are small and very affordable (and addictive). They are more like a French flaky turnover than the boring frozen patties at the market--just beware of eating any in your car, as the flakes will indeed get everywhere! I also got a couple of pain au chocolat for my neighbors' kids; they were devoured as soon as I handed them to the young boys! So as I shared the savory patties with my adult neighbors, they offered to reimburse me for what they had eaten. When I told them not to worry about it, I explained that the cost for 4 chicken patties, 2 spinach patties, and 2 chocolate croissants came to under $15, including tax! Their jaws dropped. The center of Norwood was closed off to cars today, due to a planned pops concert on a real scorcher, but I feel comforted that before engaging in this carbohydrate overload(!) I got a couple of miles of sunny Sunday walking in, too. All good. As someone who regularly travels to Jamaica for business as well as pleasure, this is truly a blessed and happy place.

We waited in line for about 15 minutes just to order, only to be told it would take another 35-40 minutes to get two toasted bagels with cream cheese--which felt excessive. The space itself is cute and inviting, but it could really use more seating and a better setup for handling takeout orders. It also seems like they may be understaffed for the volume of weekend customers they get. We likely wouldn't return on a weekend, as the wait just isn't worth it despite the good food.
