In addition, the food is made to order, so it isn't microwaved from frozen like so many other rinks. The food is fast food, but surprisingly it is pretty good. Specifically the fries, hot dogs, and burgers. Most of the big items are around $6, and the hot dogs come in at $3.75. Not cheap by any means, but also not a complete rip. Service is pretty good, but typically just transactional. If you're here for a game, you're in for a treat... if it's open.

Not asking us for refills, forgetting our salads, got Caesar dressing instead of creamy garlic. She brought the salads during dinner and that was the last we saw of her until the check. Now quality of the food: my wife and I ordered the same size steak, mine was definitely not a 12 oz. ( not that I was jealous). Ordered it medium, both were rare. The loaded baked potato's were kind of under baked. Instead of soft, very chunky and slightly warm. We ordered the sautéed Brussel sprouts which seemed a bit under cooked and possibly boiled for the additional amount charged. Been here a couple of times for the special but this time it was a big disappointment and will think next time in taking this special.

See, Grumpy Goat consists of two indoor dining areas and an outdoor seating area within a slightly larger building also that has a locker room, golf shop, and meeting room. The food ranges from pub food, to sandwiches, to flatbreads, to great steaks. Both times, the bar area was louder and people tend to focus on drinks and appetizers there. There's a separate dining room beyond the bar area where full dinners seem more common. Given that my 2 trips were in November and December, don't have a good sense for the outside area. I could just see that there are several tables overlooking the golf course. On certain nights, they have live music. Great variety of drinks, appetizers, sandwiches/burgers, and entrees. Can go inexpensive, or can get a filet mignon and spent a lot. Filling choices. Prices are quite reasonable.

We had to speak up and ask where our food was and magically it came out less than 10 minutes later--Claimed it was bc they were busy but nearly everyone in the restaurant had their food already and not every table was even occupied. Apparently we ordered the SMASH burger, hold the Smash. They were super thick, definitely NOT a smash burger. I didn't tell them well done because, well, a smash burger is always well done because it is THIN. It was so undercooked I couldn't even eat it. My son's was worse than mine but he ate it anyway since he had a game to get to. Server didn't bother to offer any compensation for any of it.
