Visited Goeberts and was looking for somewhere to have lunch. Looked up nearby places and glad we found Niko's. Atmosphere is great with plenty of space and TVs. The food was excellent. My son loved his burger and cheese curds. Mine cooked perfect well done. We all loved the fries. McKenzie was great with just the right amount of attention. While we don't live close we will make sure to visit whenever in the area. read more

This place is a local favorite-- beers are cold, servers are attentive and easy on the eyes, and the food is actually quite good. Not sure why the rating isn't higher but indeed been coming for years and never had an issue with my food or the service. My only gripe is I wish they had a bigger menu, but as far as bars go, I think you could definitely do worse going to many other places and I do think Niko's is worth a try, you might end up a regular like me. read more

Nico's is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is awesome and the service is great.

Since their reopening the fish fry has taken a hit. Its a different fish, smaller pcs and more expensive. I had 2 additional pieces tonight and they were entirely different than what was on the origional plate served. The consistency and value we were use to isn't there anymore, sorry to say. read more

Big beautiful restaurant and bar. The bar seats are the most comfortable bar seats ever! We had good service. The boom boom shrimp are amazing! Perfect breading, sauce, scallions and blue cheese. They are addictive but expensive otherwise I would have ordered two servings! The chicken fingers were a disappointment. Basic, frozen and boring. Among the few hangouts in Pingree Grove. It has a pretty casual feel to it. Niko's is okay. Has a pretty basic menu of typical beers and food. There's not much that can be called healthy, but this is the kind of place where taste is the most important thing. Had to stop to go to the bathroom and decided to get some drinks and food. It was later in the night and they weren't all that busy, which may not be surprising. This place is in the middle of nowhere, that would be why. I was like, we might as well get beer. That meant having to use the bathroom again later on. It's about $3 on certain bottles and cans. The food isn't bad either, from what we had. It was getting late and they were giving away free food. They had some chips, rolls, soup, and a few other things. For what I had, it wan't bad. The others said the soup was good, and tasted like it was actually made instead of from a can. Good stuff at a bar. It certainly isn't gourmet, but you can get some pretty decent food. The atmosphere may be a little too hillbilly for some. read more

A group of 11 of us were seated in 3 minutes( had a reservation) most friendly staff, the food is awesome and that's an understatement! Cool sports bar with plenty of tv's. Most of the seating here is high top or at the big u-shape bar. We were all happy with our burgers, Rueben sandwich, the meatloaf special could have fed 3 people. Yum! My neighbors and husband love this place. Our neighbors probably eat here about 1-3x a week! I finally said, let me check it out. We came for a late dinner on Friday night, the dinner rush had died and we got sat in a booth right away. They have a out door patio seating too. Perfect for a few drinks outside or even date night. I love the menu and the different side choices they offer! They usually have a drink of the day or month too- fun! I got a Buffalo chicken wrap and Mac cheese for my meal and everything came out Perfect! My husband has had some of the salads and burgers. He really likes the burgers here. Pros: it's newly built / remodeled. It's nice inside and has a patio. The food is good. Cons: It's a bit expensive. My small side of fruit instead of fries added $5 to the bill. No deduction for the removed fries. So $21 for a wrap and a side of fruit. Ouch..... The patio floor has lots of debris and looked like it had not been cleaned that day. Some of the staff don't seem like they want to be there. There are other restaurants close by making the cons stand out more. read more

Not bad for a little place in Pingree Grove. We randomly stopped in after visiting a nearby pumpkin farm. The salmon and mashed potatoes were decent, although kind of pricey for what it was. Service was good, and all in all it was a nice stop. read more

We went here with a group of family recently at the recommendation of my sister in-law. We had a large group so we sat in the enclosed outdoor area which was fine, plenty warm on a cold night. The start wasn't perfect, I tried to order some beer off the beer menu only to be told that they have changed from fall to winter and did not have a menu of what was available, so I gave up trying to guess what they might have and just got something else. We started with a few orders of the fried green beans, they were excellent, and didn't seem to be pre-frozen. The beans still had some texture, they were possibly the best fried green beans I have ever had. Everyone was getting burgers and I saw one on the way in and it looked good so I followed. They have a burger with a fried egg but I have found that many places will not let you have the egg runny...then what's the point. I asked and was told that I could have the egg any way I wanted it....Score! So I got a medium burger with Cheddar, egg and bacon. The burger had good beef flavor but it was cooked a bit more than medium for me. The bacon was a bit lost and could not stand up to the other flavors. All in all it was very good and I look forward to going back read more

No gloves in the back, and u Putting bare hands on food, people eating in the kitchen, bugs and flies everywhere, and there were definitely not a single masked person during COVID except 1 waitress (when a family member wanted me to pick up food once a week). Food is mediocre at best, but overall I Would never recommend. They used to have a Few decent bartenders, but the last time I was there, it took 20 min to get my beer and I was sitting at the bar. We had already seen the patio & there were a handful of open tables. So that's what I told her and it was obvious she was less than thrilled. She said she'd have to check. Fantastic food, vibes and service! We stopped here on a whim on our road trip back from Illinois to Wisconsin. The ambience was great, rustic decor. Restaurant area had big sports TV screens going in great music playing. In the bar area there was an outdoor enclosed area with a live band playing that sounded great. Outfront there was a fire pit with great seating around it. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! All American dishes served by a mostly young, friendly staff. Be sure to tell them any sides you need when placing your orders because it can get hectic at rush hours and on the weekends. This place gets packed quick so be prepared to bump elbows finding the restroom or listening to a conversation at your table. This is a light hearted place not to have a serious conversation at.
