Service was horrible. Food was horrible. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. I even posted a picture of the sandwich. I can't believe there was barely any meat at all peppers.

That is a mistake. It's really very good. We had a 12" sausage and onion pizza and an entree sized Caesar salad. Both were excellent. Crispy crust and delicious balanced toppings went great together. The salad was generously served with tasty chicken and shaved Parmesan and croutons. Not a destination place but a valuable restaurant for their thousands of neighbors. If in the area stop by. Also the bill was $31.00 and we ate half and will enjoy the other half tomorrow. A good deal.

It's a rugged, warm setting that feels more like a hidden cabin than a pizza joint. Their claim to fame is the "Double Decker," a pizza with two layers of dough and in between is sauce and cheese. It was ok but I think I'll stick with my deep dish thanks. Also tried the chicken parm sandwich. It was a good size and came crispy but tasted fairly bland. It could've use a more generous helping of sauce to bring it to life. Fries were good, the kids loved it. Other than that the most memorable thing about Village Pizza Pub would be their shoulder mounts.

The candied bacon is peppery thick cut bacon slices with a sticky sweet glaze that is a perfect snack. And you can't beat the price at $7 for four of these big slices!
