Came for the Friday night fish fry. Had the Lake Perch with clam chowder and a salad. The clam chowder was chunky and delicious. The salad was great with cucumbers, radishes and croutons. The fried perch wasn't over breaded. Fried perfectly. Great fish fry. Our server Jen was quick with refills and efficient. She also checked back and moved us along the dinner process. The restaurant part of this lounge is pretty cool. Nostalgia all around.

Monday at 4:00pm, great time to come. Melissa our server bubbly and nice (a keeper to Cruisin!) Salad with excellent garlic dressing, chopped steak was done correctly and the mushroom gravy was smooth and with fresh shrooms. Now dessert: chocolate brownie cheese cake just enough to share between us! A must stop place. (Fun bar also)

Love this place. Kinda found it on accident and it's become our new favorite place to go. We have three boys and the youngest is 18 and all three loved it too. Excellent menu choices. Sirloin and fried shrimp is my favorite. The burgers are great. The apps we've gotten have been great. Staff is really nice. Food comes out quick. Atmosphere is comfy and relaxed. Awesome simple date meal or family time place

First time here and I just love the look and feel of this place. We came on a good day because they had a car show going on. I like that they have these events. It shows me that community is important to them and they're down for a good time for everyone. Everything inside looks so cool lol I felt like a kid looking around, pointing at everything. Makes me feel like I was on a road trip and finally found a good restaurant to stop and have a hot meal, a cold drink and see friendly faces. Food: Their rodeo fries are amazingggg. This could have been a meal itself because the portion is huge. It's the good cheese that doesn't get hard right away too lol I was hesitant to try their ribs but I'm glad I didn't back out. Right off the bone, Juicy and tender. I was disappointed in the Mac-n-cheese though. It tasted like it was was those microwaveable ones. Our server was the sweetest and I'll be sure to come back. They have specials throughout the week and they all sound like a meal plan to me!

I came here on a PACKED Friday night as I was passing through. I'm really glad I stopped. Immediately upon entering you realize that the wait staff here genuinely wants you to enjoy your time there. A tall friendly man who I assume is either the manager or owner sat us down and was personable and charming. That being said the food is phenomenal. Regular diner fair does not do this place justice-- I would recommend Rodeo Fries to anyone for an appetizer. The BBQ pork and sauce were amazing and I wish I had asked for a bottle of it. The burgers were great and super big. My only complaint is the fries were underseasoned and a little bland. If I'm ever in the area again I'll try to come on their Thursday BBQ night. read more

Great area bar. Have had many fun nights here with people that live in the area. Bartenders and servers are always more than nice. If you don't like small, local bars then this isn't the place for you. read more

My date and I ordered a horseshoe and the pulled pork. Both were very good. For drinks i had a Pumpking beer and she had a mai-tai. Both were good. The beer menu is still developing (they just got Revolution on tap). I was also not surprised to see Schlitz. The bill was $35 for the food and drinks. Service was decent. It was a tuesday night so i think there was just one server for the whole dining room. The atmosphere is awesome! I love the lighting and they were playing the Beatles on rotation. The bar has a "homie" feel and there are plenty of TVs. We sat in a booth with wooden benches. The seats were very far from the table, which i guess is necessary to accommodate larger patrons comfortably. Overall, i recommend it. I'd like to return and try the entrees. read more

Mainly, big enough space for families and separated bar/gambling area, variety of menu options to satisfy any taste or picky eater, friendly staff, quality food. Variety of daily specials. Always happy with this place. Today for the first time I had ribs. OMG ! They are amazing. They fall off the bone, juicey and the BBQ sauce is awesome . Their potato pancakes are really good too. Check for there special. Always an amazing deal. Can't wait for St Patty's day because there corned beef and cabbage is amazing as well. Best restaurant in the area and you can't beat there prices read more

Have been going there for years. The food and service (Kenny) are fabulous. The food is made from scratch. Everything we have ever eaten there is delicious. What a hidden gem this place is! Third time I have eaten here since I moved to the area. Wednesday night Mexican Menu, the carne asada was one of the best seasoned skirt steaks that I have ever eaten and I grew up in San Antonio. You won't go wrong eating here! read more

First visit to Cruisin was this past Tuesday night. We met up with our Grandmother and Aunt who both enjoy eating here. My grandmother ordered her pizza as always, and the waiter gave her a little bit of a hard time because he said no substitutions on specialty pizza's, but since they weren't busy he said he would do it for her. Our order was hot and fresh. The corned beef sandwich was very simple, yet very tasty. I also took a bite of the bbq pulled pork sandwich which was really good as well. Our drinks were filled and were asked several times if we needed anything. Four adult dinners with a couple of long islands and our bill was still under $70 including gratuity. Don't judge a restaurant by it's exterior. The outside looks like an office strip. Then you eat there and you don't care. There is a sign on 72 each day saying the specials so you know it's there. The comfort food is really good here and the meal specials as well. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place!!. Always crazy on Friday nights for possibly the best fish fry I've ever had. Well worth the wait. Many different types of fish to choose from as well. Though it's also good, not just cod. The Walleye is my fav for fish fry there. Saturdays are busy at night there as well for their amazing streak specials. Then there's the rest of the menu. My favorite burger of all time is their Bacon Blue . I add piston rods (fried onions), grilled onions and it's always cooked to perfection. Medium rare in my case. The wait staff is also amazing. Kenny is the bomb! That dude ever get a day off?! Everything I've ever had there has been delicious. Even if it's out of the way for you, make it a point to go there. You won't be disappointed! P'S. If you get Kenny as your server, be sure to ask for the Tater Totes. read more

my boy and I love this place! we go there a lot and they always treat us like family. everything on the menu is freakin' delish... the fried pickles are a personal favorite of mine, and their ranch dressing is the best in the west. Everything tastes fresh, like it's made with love and pride. Fantastic beer selection, and the service is great! Long live Kenny!!! read more

We live in the area and go there every Wednesday night for the now 40% off night. As a family of 5, we usually get out of there for under $30 bucks (not including tip.) The cheese & potato soup is the BEST! Some other favorites are the nacho(get the taco meat on top), the herb tilapia sandwich and the chicken& shroom sandwiches are awesome! The staff is friendly and it is just an overall great place to go. Highly suggest going there even if it is "out in the stix." read more

I have heard a lot about this restuarant so I was really excited to try it out! We went for my boyfriend's birthday and he demolished the 1 pound burger which I tasted and was probably one of the best burgers I had. I had the buffalo chicken wrap which was good. I especially enjoyed the German platter his mom ordered which was pork shoulder over mashed potatoes. Our service was top notch and I can't wait to try Crusin again!! read more

A reliable place to go for American comfort food. Have eaten here several times; food always tastes fresh and somewhere between definitely good and wonderful. Great sweet potato fries. Check out their daily specials; on our last visit really enjoyed the BBQ special (ribs & pulled pork, very tasty.) Fun atmosphere, always has an easy welcoming vibe, like a local hangout place should be. Waitstaff friendly, fun & attentive. Solid 4 stars. read more

Went there today for a birthday lunch with my dad and stepmom. The server was friendly and got everything right, food was fresh and delicious. This is our go to place for Saturday night dinner! I almost always get the pulled pork sandwich-so good! The fries are always crispy perfection. The drinks are strong as well- love their bloody mary's and they make a mean moscow mule. Service is always top notch as well. Highly recommend! read more

Always a great spot with good food and friendly service. Really wish they had more seating as it gets very packed during rush hour and weekends making for long wait times. Also would be really nice if they had outdoor seating in the warmer months. Definitely recommend giving them a try! read more

I came here based on others reviews... What a mistake!! The place looks like a dive from the outside and feels like a dive when your inside. We had the broasted chicken and a burger. Found out about this place from a friend and have had something different each time and everything hot and tasty..Hamburgers are fullsize 10oz .fresh , not frozen and just love the homemade potato chips. have had the chix. and prime rib dinners and each are as good as the other. We went on a Friday for the fish fry. All of the people working there are very friendly (including the owner) and make you feel very welcome. The place was packed, but they did a good job getting people seated and served. The fish fry was great. Large portions and good taste. There was a mixup with our side dishes, but with a packed house, that was understandable. It was quickly taken care of. The only drawback, and to me it was a huge drawback, was the water. I ordered iced tea and it tasted and smelled like unfiltered well water. Disgusting. I switched to coke with no ice, but of course, the soft drink syrup was mixed with the same water and tasted terrible. I would go back for the food, but next time i will bring my own bottle of water. That was nasty. read more

I made my way out to Cruisin recently to meet a friend for a bite and drinks and had a great time. I loved the atmosphere and decor. Nice casual place to hang out. We just ordered the Sicilian pizza which was really good! Nice light crust, lots of cheese, garlic, basil and tomatoes tasted very fresh yum! The staff was really great too. The following is a personal violation experienced at Cruisin Bar and Eatery. A couple weeks ago my girlfriend and I were visiting Pub 72 next door and heard an Elvis tribute act performing outside Cruisin. We walked over to see what the scene was, unaware of any cover charge. (Pub 72 had a Grateful Dead tribute act that night and they were not charging a cover). There's no fence or anything around Cruisin, and no one was "guarding" any sort of entrance so my girlfriend walked over and started dancing. She was FORCIBLY removed by a large man in a button down with light-colored slicked back hair with zero explanation. This huge man had at least a foot in height on my girlfriend and he literally GRABBED her arm while she was dancing and essentially pulled her to the perimeter. She was not intoxicated and was greeted with physical force by a large man, (who at the time we had no idea worked for the bar and may very well have been intoxicated or on something himself). He said it was because she didn't pay the FIVE DOLLAR cover. Are you kidding me? We returned and tipped the band $50 because they were awesome. Cruisin left a real bad impression on us. read more

My husband and I are plagued with bad service every time we decide to go out. It's a running joke for our "date night's." We came under recommendation of a friend. The place was packed to the gills for fish fry night. With good reason... This place is fantastic. From the beyond friendly and attentive service to their amazing food.
