While they work on hourly consult rates which is a refreshing option for many of us, on a recent project, my business was clearly not valued. Calls and emails were not returned for days or weeks, plans not sent as promised, all eventually resolved through my repeated follow-ups. The justified reason is that a bigger client was requiring all their time. Customer Service 101. I pay my invoices on time and without question. I will set aside the sales tax issue which required multiple emails to be resolved. The last straw was the requirement to pay for a 4th consult by a sharp deadline or my consult would be canceled. What choice did I have? I will find an interior design firm that will appreciate my business.

Our team was fantastic...George, Marisela, Lucas, and Kate were all wonderful to work with. We had an idea of what we wanted and the designs they came up with still blow our mind. Our house is a 1980's tract home we bought in 1993. For the 10 years prior to our remodel we hated our house. It was outdated and the flow didn't work. Our project completed in April 2019. I'm pretty sure every day since, one of us has said "I love our house." Our project included removing a wall to open our kitchen, replacing all of the indoor plumbing, replacing our windows, replacing all of our floors, gutting the kitchen, powder room, and master bathroom, redoing our bedroom closets, and interior paint. We lived through the remodel, which was an adventure, but JDR made it as tolerable as possible. We did not add any square footage, but everyone agrees our house feels bigger. I can't get over how spacious the kitchen feels now and I love the walk in pantry they added. The vendors they used for our project were all great as well. The project for the most part went very smoothly and any concerns we had were promptly addressed. We would not hesitate to recommend JDR.

Since it was going to be a rental house, we needed cabinets that wouldn't be too expensive but would last well and look good. The cabinets, which arrive on pallets in flat boxes that you or your cabinet installer assemble (and install) yourself, are very solid and quite nice, with soft-close hinges. They turned our nicer than the cabinets in our own house, so now of course my wife wants to redo our kitchen, too. We are very pleased with the cabinets, and our new tenants love them too. The assembly and installation of the cabinets is pretty tricky, so you'll want someone who is skilled and has done it before. Installing kitchen cabinets is not really for the average do-it-yourselfer, as experienced cabinet installers have several tricks to make everything fit and line up perfectly, including liberal use of shims in many locations that are not visible once the cabinets are installed. Highly recommend these guys if you're looking for good quality cabinets at a reasonable price.

Remcon, and especially our project manager Simo somehow managed to exceed our expectations. Tackling through issues coming up, explaining situations on why more money is needed on a particular job , details plays a huge role for the two sides to understand why a particular solution is needed on a specific problem.
