I mean this in two ways, both that the bread was not (or at least did not seem) toasted and that it was not very spicy. This latter observation relates to a second criticism that there did not seem to be cappicola on the sandwich, but in its place was some other meat that did not belong (maybe turkey, maybe honey ham).
