Was at my brothers house when he ordered this pizza- he basically lives down the block from it and was raving about how great their pizza was. He called and picked up and it was ready within 15 minutes which was surprisingly fast. He came back with a white pizza that was half plain white and half with spinach tomatoes and broccoli for my parents. He also ordered a plain cheese for my daughter and his kids. The pizza smelled so good as soon as he entered the house with it and it looked good when the box was open. The crust was nice and fluffy and had bubbles like I like it! The pizza was overall okay- the only thing I didn't like was when I was chewing the bottom crust it was hard to chew. You had to really work your jaw to get through the bottom crust and chew many times! If maybe they changed the way the bottom crust is the pizza would be perfect! Just the right amount of cheese and sauce.

You will be ruined for all future Pizza!

I now live 30 minutes away, but still love any opportunity to get back and have the BEST Pizza ever! Nothing beats a slice of their Pepperoni right out of the oven with a side of Mozarella fries! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and the sauce isn't sweet. If you have the time...dine in so you know what I mean!

I really don't understand the appeal of this place at the office. I've jumped on the Croydon take-out bandwagon twice already...and both times I've been left unsatisfied, the latter being more. It's a standard pizza shop, with offerings of pizza alongside sandwiches, entrees, strombolis, etc. The first time I got an Italian hoagie which woulda been great had the bread not been stiff and stale...the bread is a crucial part of the sandwich! The second time I ordered the petite pizza with pepperoni and garlic. Upon the first bite, the cheese came right off the pizza...ugh. Then, to make things worse, it just didn't taste that great. To say something good about this place though, the girl who attended me at the counter was nice and friendly. She even helped me carry some of the massive take out order into my car. Fortunately and unfortunately, I will not choose this place again if it were my choice...

    Yummy!!!

    How are their buffalo wings?

Lately there apparently is some wing shortage, I am sure they will blame COVID, cops, guns or Trump.

The pizzas were thin, cooked well and served scalding hot. The crust has the right amount of chew and char to get you coming back for more. The simplicity of the ingredients let's you know it's fresh and made to order. This place is great if you have a hankering for some pizza, cheese steaks, fries or even a nice salad or some ricotta spread. We've never had a bad meal here. Consistency is the mark of a good restaurant.

Finally made it to Itri on a Monday when the borough was a ghost town. Usually when I walk by they…read moreare packed with wait times. Their bar seating is limited, and every time I stop in, it's full. They have two different indoor seating rooms. We sat in the bar area dining room that has a half dozen or so tables. I liked the exposed brick look of the bar area with tasteful (not cluttered) wall decorations. You can also sit out front along the sidewalk or in a small alley out back by the kitchen. Menu wise ... I have to say I've never seen MP (market price) next to wings. Long gone are the days of ten cent or quarter wings my friends! They did have a dollar wing special on that day, so we put in for an order of Ernie's Wings - house-made buffalo sauce. buttermilk ranch. sesame seeds. scallions. wood-fired. They were fresh, a decent size and just average. The sauce flavor was adequate. I wouldn't repeat. We put in orders for two pizzas (one half and one pepp) $15 and the other was what I came for a Honey Hot Sop - red sauce. shredded mozzarella. fresh mozzarella. soppressata. hot honey. grana padano $17. The pizzas came out hot and extremely fast. The half plain, half pepp was typical. Nothing bad, nothing great with a nice char, tasty cheese and a slightly sweet/lightly seasoned sauce. The Honey Hot Sop was delicious. It had a sweet sauce, sweet yet rich buttery cheese, nice char, yummy soppressata and then a spicy peppery kick that punched you in the face. We also ordered plain fries. They were crunchy with almost a hollow core. Not a fan. I had a fresh craft hazy IPA (I'm sorry the name escapes me) that was on tap to enjoy with that wonderful hot sop pizza. They have a couple of sandwiches I'd love to try like the Chicken Fra Diablo - chicken cutlet. sharp provolone. long hot peppers. pomodoro sauce. served on a seeded roll and a cheesesteak. Our server was quick, prompt and friendly. She checked in on us several times. I'll certainly return to Itri when I get a chance. Thanks guys!

The seating area has several tables and they sell slices. On my first trip I tried a cheesesteak, my son had a cheeseburger and my youngest had chicken fingers. We brought home mozzarella sticks for my wife to try. The chicken fingers were the smaller/thin, bland frozen type. The burger was sizable, had a nice brioche bun and overall was pretty standard. The mozzarella sticks were "beer battered" and not too bad. My cheesesteak could have used more cheese to melt and mix with the steak. The steak was chopped, but was a better quality than the basic cardboard steak some places serve. The meat wasn't greasy, but was a tad overcooked. The roll was fresh and toasted. I asked for hot peppers and got the standard yellow hot banana. I gave the sandwich an average score. Points for it not being drippy and greasy. On my second visit I ordered a small 12" pizza and asked for it to be cooked well done. It was ready in ten minutes. The crust was fresh and not too soft/not too crispy and thankfully not chewy. Cheese was a tad sweet, stringy and not overly greasy. The sauce was rich and tangy. Tasted like a cross between a pasta and pizza sauce. I thought the pizza was just above average and would repeat. The owner took care of me both times and was extremely nice. I would definitely repeat if I'm in the neighborhood. Thanks guys and best of luck!
