Went here three times! I can honestly say this place is amazing. I have had traditional classic wings, and boneless. Both are great. I'm still really interested in trying their other foods but every time I go I always get wings. and 10 cents for boneless and 20 cents for traditional?!!? YES! Food is good but not the waitress. When I went to use the salt shaker the top fell off dumping a pile of salt on my omelet. The waitress says to me " you don't take the top off...it's a shaker. And says "see " as she showed me the shaker top. I told her I was old but not stupid ! She offered to make me a new omelet which came back VERY crispy fried on both sides. Hidden gem! My girls and I love this place! Not the girly-girls. Cosmo nights can be had anywhere in Manhattan. You go to Croxley's for their amazing wings (that are 10 cents on Mon & Wed), and their never ending beer selection. You can get a Bud or Corona, but please don't embarrass yourself. Try an import from Europe or something seasonal from a local Microbrewery. There is something for everyone- even NON-beer drinkers. For them, I would suggest Lindman's Framboise Lambic. You would never know it was a beer! I would love to shout the praises of Croxley's but it's hard enough getting a spot during wing night. I would keep it hidden forever, but it's too good to keep to myself. I only gave them 4 out of 5 stars because of the beer and wings. I was underwhelmed by their other food selections. I only came to Croxley's once at the suggestion of one of my co-workers. They had a ten-cent wing special so we gathered a group of co-workers together and decided to go. There wasn't any parking so we had to drive around into the neighborhood on Concord to get a spot. Croxley's is located right on New Hyde Park road a couple blocks before it merges with Court House Road. It also didn't help that it was raining a little bit that day. Upon walking in, it took a while before anybody walked up to the hostess stand to greet us. When we came around 5:30pm, there weren't many people and we easily had the corner table. We were given a menu, but I was determined to try some of these wings. I shared with my co-worker a plate of wings there were not too spicy and not too mild. The wings themselves were OK; I didn't feel too excited about it. It's all about the sauce that they use, but the meat itself is hard to chew. I did try one of their beers: magic hat #9, but I wasn't fond of it either. I also ordered a basket of fries too. My workers ordered a few more drinks and plates of food after that, but I feel like our server wanted us to go because there were a lot of people waiting for a table and we sat there for a long time. I would understand if we didn't order that much food, but in my opinion, we ordered a lot of food and drinks during the course of our stay. Our server suggested we go to the bar instead where it is already so crowded that it was hard to walk through. That really turned me off. Even after this experience, we weren't satisfied and had to go to Two restaurant in New Hyde Park to continue our night out with more drinks. It is Croxley's loss. I was in Long Island for the night and needed a place to watch March Madness. A friend recommended checking out Croxley's for their wings specials. When I got there the place looked really sketchy from the outside but once you go in, it's actually pretty inviting. They were running their 20 cent wing special for the entirety of March Madness which is awesome. The wings are gonna be a mix of normal looking wings and some freaky miniature wings but they taste pretty good, and heck, 20 cents! The staff were pretty great too. Attentive and friendly. I love coming to croxleys for their decent food options and dirt cheap wing nights! How can you beat great quality wings for only 20 cents a pop? They have a huge selection of beers which will cater to everyone... including those who aren't big on beer. If you come on an "off" night, you'll enjoy 10 cent boneless wings, which basically are fried chicken breasts chopped up in to small pieces.....no biggie! I think this is the original Croxley's Ale House.. it has since expanded to a few separate locations (Farmingdale, Rockville Center). Croxley's offers a wide variety of beer, with more taps than a 2 hour game of duck, duck, goose. Fruity beer, wheats, lagers, they've got it all. I personally am not a HUGE beer fan, but ordering margaritas at a happy hour won't get you man points. So this place is golden, with so many beers to choose from it allows ya to explore the menu and find interesting blends or go with the more traditional fruity favorites (Purple Haze, Magic Hat, Bluepoint Blueberry, Dos Equies....). They have a club, where if you drink enough beer (40 I think) you get a free T-shirt and an AA card. The food here is good. I've had wings, a pot pie (in a bread bowl), calamari and potato skins. All were pretty solid for a bar and grill. I hear the french onion soup is superb at the RVC location... can't comment on that though. My only complaints are that the service can be a little slow. I went to a happy hour here on a Thursday with a large group and they didn't seem prepared. Only 2 bartenders were working a large double sided bar, so we had to order a few beers at a time to make up for it. And the Parking is a challenge. It's street parking, but all the blocks around the joint only allow for 2 hour parking so you got to either park far or hope for the best. All and all this is an awesome place for beer lovers and a nice place to catch a game. read more

Croxleys is the place to go to for beer and wing heaven. This is one of the smaller locations but the quality is consistent throughout all of them. They are mostly known for their excellent wings (korean bbq and medium hot are my favorite) mon-wed they offer 20 cent traditional wings also all day sunday, which is usually when I go The only thing wrong with the wings is the stupid rules when ordering them. No smaller orders than 10, must do increments of 5 or more. I don't want rules when I eat, I just want to eat. Besides the wings, they have excellent EXCELLENT bar food. The chicken royal is my favorite. I never leave here hungry or broke, EXCEPT if i'm drinking beer. They have the best beer selection but the prices for these beers are absolutely insane. Usually $6 plus with minimal deals on the beer. I guess they have to make up for their cheap wings. All in all, you won't regret going here, just watch the beer intake. read more

On a Monday night we decided on wings. Our good friends suggested this spot. It's a kid friendly bar with booths. Walked in and host sat us right away. We decided on the Korean BBQ, Mild, Garlic Parmesan and Mango Habañero. We did some boneless and some regular. They were 30-40 cents. The boneless wings are good...they are various sizes so not one looks the same. The bone in wings are awesome! They are NOT tiny wings, decent size I must say. The Korean BBQ bone in wings were good. They are sweet, reminded me of the Kalbi beef sauce. I felt like the Mild wings were just OK not that awesome. The Garlic Parm. we had were boneless and they were really good. Garlic wasn't over powering so this is good. Now...the Mango Habañero were the BEST! Spicy with a touch of sweetness of the Mango! I will definitely be returning for these! They are soooo gooood!! They also have a selection of Draft beers there and cocktails too. The margaritas are strong! The waitress was nice, not as attentive...felt like she was at the other table more than anything. The waitress that served us was absolutely clueless , we ask for spinach artichoke dip and end up getting sweet potatoes fries...... At what point was she confused I don't know!!! A bunch of beer mix up!!! She comes with the wrong beer and then spills and breaks 3 glasses around us with no I'm sorry or anything !!! A simple sorry would've worked !!! My family & I go here almost every week & boy do we love it. The workers are very nice & usually recognize and greet us whenever they see us. We've been to Croxley's tons of times. The have a wide selection of beers and they carry woodchuck pear cider. This is probably the main appeal of Croxley's to me. That and the Irish Nachos, which are really just cheese fries with bacon (no scallions, please), but are so good. If you go for wings during the wing specials expect it to be hit or miss. Sometimes they're very good, but other times they're the tiniest, most deformed looking wings. We usually just eat the more normal looking ones when that happens. They have a fairly new text coupon program. I received a text for free order of boneless wings with purchase of an entrée valid sun-thurs so we went today, a Sunday. They said it can't be used in a wing special day... which is basically everyday Sun-Thurs. After showing them the text they applied it, BUT these were the DRIEST boneless wings I've ever had. Probably the driest chicken I've ever had in general. I can't help but think the coupon influenced the quality of the wings. I'm pretty disappointed in this. I mean I'm sure I'll go back since I can't find woodchuck pear anywhere else, but I'll set my expectations appropriately. In retrospect, we probably should have forgone the burger my BF ordered and saved money by getting 20c wings. He did say the Ale House Burger was very good... cooked to order and no complaints. In terms of service, they're usually very good, but today she didn't come back to check on us after she brought the food. Pair that up with your favorite craft beer and believe me there are many and you're golden! Everything else on the menu is absolutely delicious, favorite appetizers include but not limited to the loaded tater tot's, potato skins, and of course the loaded nachos don't forget to add on pulled pork steak or chicken! Whatever tickles your fancy ! Burgers are some of the best juiciest and tastiest around and their sandwiches are second to none including the chicken Royale and roast beef! My mouth is watering and as I'm typing this! Don't forget some of their sweet desserts to finish off your meal and tip your waitress is accordingly! Lastly as for the seating area I love the booths on one side but I prefer the table tops with all the large flat screens because it's a little more rowdy especially on football days!
