While I was on the road a few days later a different issue came up (causing the exact same symptom). Again, I had my car towed to R & S and the problem was identified and repaired the same day and I was back on the road again. Electronics are quirky and others may not be so lucky, but R & S seems to know what they are doing. My number one stop for Volvo work…read more I have owned 6 Volvos. The owner John use to work at Seingold Volvo, 766 Broadway, Pawtucket, RI 02861, as a mechanic. When he opened his own shop I was on board. I have been dealing with John over 10 years, and have very few complaints. Pros: Honest, straightforward, knowledgeable, and reliable. When you take your car for an estimate John will let you know all your options. He is not the type of mechanic to add a bunch of unneeded work, and extras. Cons: It's just John. You may need to wait a few days to get an appointment, and because of his busy schedule, you may need to purchase parts for the work. I like buying my own parts. It allows me to see what they actually cost, and helps me to know there are no hidden fees. This may be a turn off to some customers. I would recommend getting into a habit of learning what labor, and parts cost. You'll save lots of money in the long run. John works on most makes, and models, but if you are a Volvo owner in the Attleboro area, making friend with John is a must.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Elaine at the front desk walked me through the process. She was very kind and patient. You'd be surprised at some of the off-putting/uncomfortable/ or condescending interactions I had at other shops before coming here. She didn't need much information other than my insurance quote. I was given a drop-off date and told how long the repair should take. She made sure I knew how the rental car situation would work. She was very proactive; she called me a week before the drop-off date to let me know she hadn't heard anything about my car rental reservation and wanted to alert me. DROP-OFF: On the day of, I had car rental issues, none of which was PC's issue, but Elaine again was patient with me until I had that straightened out and offered to make me a cup of coffee. PICKUP: -which was indeed the expected date originally quoted to me, I had some issues with my debit card and it was almost closing time. Both Elaine and Ken were so very patient with me. They allowed me to take more time to go to the nearby bank branch to clear up the issue, which put me back at PC after closing time, on a Friday no less. Ken was gracious about the whole transaction and walked me to my car. WORK PERFORMED: -was a big replacement from a rear end collision. They were able to work a previous damage that directly affected the job they would be performing into a supplemental charge to the insurance company. When I say that car never looked so good, I truly mean that. The new version of my car was thoroughly detailed inside and out and the replacement was seamless.
