The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They were able to get my baby dog in for an appointment the very next day, which I truly appreciated. From the moment we walked in, they provided excellent customer service and made us feel at ease. Dr. Ramirez did an amazing job removing the mass from my baby dog's leg, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care and compassion shown throughout the entire process. Thank you all for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive one. I highly recommend this clinic! read more

Dr Ramirez and staff are amazing. This is our new go to for our Pack. Our senior bully literally had his life saved by them and their thoroughness and the Drs Insistency. Had I not listened to him we would have missed something big and would have cost my dog his life. I'm so grateful to them for all they've done. The staff is very gracious and friendly and the Dr is a great guy. Flexible assistance plans are also offered and that's always helpful during an emergency. Friendly people. They seem to actually care about your pet. Prices are reasonable...if there is such a thing anymore

Thank you Dr. Ramirez and staff for being compassionate, informative and making sure Panchito is healthy for his upcoming surgery! In the past, I had a unfortunate experience and outcome at another vet where they didn't check my furbaby at the time if they were okay for surgery. That alone tells me that Crowslanding Vet and Dr.Ramirez is knowledgeable and actually cares. He even helped even further and gave me medication to help Panchito prep for the surgery. Thanks again! read more

My 3 lb female chihuahua, Sophie, needed an inguinal hernia repair. This little pup is 8 to 10 years of age, suffers a collapsing trachea and enlarged heart. I made an appointment at Crows Landing Veterinary Clinic in Modesto with Dr Carlos Ramirez. Dr Ramirez explained the condition to me and the plan of action in fixing it. His self-confidence in his abilities reassured me that I had come to the right place! The staff at this clinic were absolutely wonderful. They are knowledgeable, caring, accommodating and friendly. I thank each and everyone of them for the care and concern shown to this little dog and to me. Surgery Nurse Amy. Thank you for your care of Sophie, not only during surgery, but before and after. She enjoyed the cuddling and the singing! Thank you for reassuring me in handling the ups and downs of aftercare. Dr Ramirez. I cannot thank you enough. I was so afraid I wasn't going to bring her home with me that day. I thank God for you, for your skill and expertise, and especially your confidence. Best Christmas ever! Again, thank you all, and God Bless you! read more

Brough my dog once and was okay. Second time around I was quoted one price and was charged more. According to them they can't honor the price even though they're the ones who told me the price. Will never come back here again read more

I found this big guy wondering the streets. I couldn't leave him .. he is such a sweet gentle giant. I have named him Cinco Dr. Ramirez and the staff here are so amazing!! They have helped me out so much! I am only working with donations from groups on FB and I told the doctor how much I had to work with. I am beyond blown away that he didn't turn us away.. he offered to help and build a plan for immediate relief even with limited funds... the amount of love and kindness in this office is unimaginable! We are not out of the woods and he still needs a bunch of care, but for today- he will be okay. All thanks to the Doctor and staff at Crowslanding Vet. read more

Sometimes you get someone nice and sometimes they seem to be over living. Also their online appt system is horrible.

A friend of mine recommended this clinic and I'm so glad I went. Most of the staff were friendly. The doctors assistant was nice. The doctor Romeo saw was so welcoming, sweet and showed compassion and concern for my dog as well as listened intently to my concerns. We have a plan and I feel Romeo is in great hands. read more

I recently took my 10yr old pup in to see Dr.Ross who was nothing short of an angel. My pup was diagnosed with cancer which literally tore my heart apart. If I could it would be zero stars. Well...because I had to go to another vet because my regular vet was completely booked, and my pet was so constipated and looked so miserable. So I contacted Criws Landing Rd Vets, who were able to see me right away. ( Now, I know why!) What a mistake and waste of my time. They tried to make us do surgery on our pet! Our pet was just constipated. The doctor stated the mass is my pet was so large only a surgeon can remove it! Even had the nerve to schedule it for the next morning!! The cost of the emergency surgery was $1200. I told them, "Right I'll call you, and walked out!!" I went to my regular vet who gave my pet a enema and the cost was only $45.00!! My pet is completely fine now! DO NOT GO THERE! THEY ARE DECEITFUL SCAMMERS, PRAYING ON PEOPLE WHO ARE WORRIED ABOUT THEIR PETS!!!! GO ANYWHERE BUT THERE!!! read more

I left my 1 month old orange cat for lethargy. 6 hours later I get a call he passed. They couldn't explain why. Just a bunch of reasons what could have happened. smh My regular vet was booked so this was a last resort. Edit: I just got a call that they were going to sue me for leaving a bad review. That tells you all you need to know. read more

I'm glad the new owner decided to buckle and dime us. It made me do some research and although it wasn't the information I was really looking for, it was an eye opener. My fur baby is on Solensia. It's supposed to be a miracle drug for arthritis in cats. Come to find out it's a nightmare drug. Cats are dying and there's a lawsuit against the manufacturer. So thanks again for being a money grubbing vet and pushing me into doing the research. (FYI, this information is just recently being released to the public. She's been on it for about 2 years and nowhere online has anything bad been posted). read more

it's all about the profit. Extra charges for everything and they dont tell you until you get there. Beware of extra charges for using a credit card which is not posted anywhere in plain sight and they don't tell you on the phone. I have been going to this office for over 21 years and they recently changed owners. I have spent 10s of thousands of dollars over the years and have referred many people to them as they always cared about my fur babies. Today, their new receptionist was very rude to me because of a $113 outstanding balance. I couldn't believe after all the years I have been a loyal patron and all the people I referred that she was so rude to me. I will be looking for a new vet after more than 21 years and I will not refer ANYONE there again. The people used to actually care more about the fur babies. Better to go somewhere that actually gives a care for you fur baby family members. read more

I have been going here for 48 years. I have been through different vets whom all have been awesome. Today 3/11/25 I went in with one of my cats on emergency. He was only 5 years old and I had raised him since he was 2 weeks old. I got to meet the new owner for the first since he took over. I was greeted with the utmost empathy. He was kind and understanding and did what he could for my cat knowing I didn't have much money to work with. Well I wound up having to put my baby down which ripped my heart out but he was not able to be saved. It was so hard on my heart but he managed to get me through the emotional stress. I will always suggest this vet office as they have even now treated my fur babies like their family. So if you want honesty and to know your baby is taken care then this is your vet. read more

This clinic is absolutely AMAZING! They are super sweet and helpful! Definitely recommending to my animal friends!

Dr. Ross and Sonke are caring and compassionate. This review is solely based on new staff/Dr. It is not good. Adding unnecessary things to treatment plans. The service over the phone and in person with the new "staff" is unpleasant. Visits are not warm, welcoming and friendly like they used to be. read more

Misdiagnosed, poor communication after a $700 visit for my cat. Could never reach the vet after he left room. I called 3 times the following day. I was charged $68 for a bag of Ringers Solution which at an online pharmacy cost $13.99. read more

I have been going to the veterinarian clinic for probably the last 25 years Dr. Ross, Dr. Jo the staff were incredible, made an appointment to take in my Cane Corso to have his ears looked at I get in there first Tech asked me a bunch of questions not a problem. The veterinarian comes in wanting to do this crazy evaluation of some sort that's like $1300 and I'm like no I just want to get his ears packed. We do this every year, he says fine. He says he looks healthy. does not look at his ears. Dog doesn't get temperature taken. The only time they touched. My dog was to give the medication in his ears, which they did not even clean before they medicated. Or check to see if it was bacterial or just a yeast .The doctor said they would take him in the back and give him a full examination, clean and pack his ears that didn't happen when I mentioned it to the Tech she said no this is fine and I told her they should've been cleaned. She ignored me went out to the front desk. Talk to that person. She was very kind. She saw that I was not happy and said she would talk to them. I just had to get out of that place. I will never return. And insult to injury I was just in there 2 weeks before my poodle got super sick in 2 days, Dr Ramirez came wanted to keep my dog till 5 and if that didn't help I would have to take him to Taylor Vet. The poor guy could hardly breathe. He needed to be put down and not suffer anymore. I feel like anything else its all about a that cash!! read more

I highly recommend this veterinaria he was so amazing and handled my fur baby's with compassion. He took his time to get to know us and our fur baby's. He gave us the best educational advice and also he makes it affordable for us. He worked with us to make sure we could afford everything we needed. He doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need like other vets. Definitely give this place a try before going anywhere else read more

Being new to Modesto, we did not have veterinary care established. We noticed one of our beloved dog's quality of life declining rapidly. Overwhelmed by the decision to compassionately let her go, we did not know where to turn. After calling around to several vets, we made the appointment with Crows Landing Road Veterinary Clinic because of the compassion they had when we called regarding our situation. They made an appointment for us quickly, knowing how painful it was for us. At the appointment, they explained the process, offered so much support and kindness (and an abundance of needed tissues). We were allowed to give her chocolate peanut butter cups (because even dogs need to experience chocolate once in their lives) as she drifted away from us. We received the kindest condolence card in the mail, signed by the entire staff and it just confirmed what we already knew, that the care people and animals get at this clinic is excellent! We already have our other two fur babies scheduled for initial exams to establish care and we have full confidence in the care they will receive at Crows Landing Road Veterinary Clinic! read more

Our family sadly had to put our dog down a couple of weeks ago. The staff were the most compassionate people we've ever seen at a veterinary office. You can tell they truly care about animals and the people that bring them in. The vet answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns with compassion. The Vet and assistant made sure our dog was well taken care of and comfortable. We didn't feel rushed at all, they gave us plenty of time to say goodbye. I would highly recommend this office, and will definitely be returning for our other pets care. Thank you all for making this experience as comfortable as possible for us, it's deeply appreciated. read more

I called to ask a few general questions and spoke with Virginia. She was curt and seemed bothered that she had to answer the phone. Ive gone twice with my dog because i was told at valley vet on mchenry that he needed ears flushed after 15 seconds of examining him. That it would be 500$. It didn't sit well so i wanted another opinion. The vets explained in detail. Took there time while using an ear mold of a dogs ear to explain in detail the anatomy of the ear. Yes my dog needed a treatment no where close to 500$ !!! The staff makes you feel like family. I will never go back to valley vet Thank you all the great staff at CROWS LANDING VET GOOSES MOM !!! read more

This place saved my butt, there is no way around that. Dorthy, you are an absolute gem of a person. You need to know, when social distancing is over you have the biggest of bear hugs coming your way. I don't want to go into exact details of what Dorthy did for me, but know the people at this clinic value you and your pet more than anything else. The facility itself was very nice and very clean. Plain and simple the women at the front desk are hard workers. When I was inside the facility their phones were just blowing up and they were slammed with customers and animal control. My experience with dr. Feliz was great. I have a pitbull mix who is best defined as a lover and not a fighter. My pit did not open up to the doctor until the very end of the appointment. With that said, Dr. Feliz was able to flawlessly do her tests on my baby without causing extra stress. At the very end of my appointment, my baby had her tail waggling and her tongue out with joy at the doctors feet. Thanks again to everyone we encountered at this facility! read more

Great staff and wonderful drs. We have been going here since we moved to the area in 2017. We had 9 cats and now have 6. They have seen us through the good times and bad.
