I've established a relationship with Dr Stevie Reichmuth for both of my pugs she gives them the most undivided attention and sits on the ground and greets them and plays with them and truly pays attention to small details that other vets don't . I love her and her staff they treat my fur babies good here! I trust them.

I'd love to leave my Honest Review pertaining to this facility! Its a Cute Small Fast-Paced Office with a multi-trained staff that helps in every direction possible. Front End literally does it all from checking you in, to distributing your Fur-balls Meds! Vaccines are super simple and fast an get you out in a timely manner, Surgery was smooth an I was given through instructions to follow an was made aware about the IMPORTANCE of the CONE! I referred all my family an friends to come to this location because of the friendly staff and fast paced environment this team truly thrives on! Yes it can be hectic some days but that's what's expected in a WALK- IN CLINIC!! I absolutely love the teamwork here as well! Nice Job Ladies & Dr.Gill!

This is the growth exactly where the old one was coming back after the stitches were removed. :(

Sir, I appreciate you finally getting back. However, you have not received correct information from your staff. I did NOT come back months later. I came back to have stitches removed as instructed a few weeks after surgery. At that time I was told everything was fine and that she was having a reaction to the stitches and would go away! I noticed it was not going away but to the contrary getting bigger. I called immediately. They said to bring her back. I did not demand to have it removed, however, I did request that Dr. Wallace see her without charge to explain why it wasn't going away (as she performed surgery and that makes the most sense) and to explain why this growth she highly recommended be removed. She specifically said that in her years of experience they are "common" and continue to grow larger which could be uncomfortable for her. Which is why I chose not to have biopsied. Several rechecks? I had one "recheck" to remove the stitches. They refused to see her again without being paid FIRST. They said you get one free recheck period. Why are you saying several? Banging on the door? Sir, you have a glass door. why would you not respond to my e-Mail? Or my phone call? I even left a note on your car asking you to return my call. You certainly do not care. Perhaps you care now (over a month later) because this is a public forum and you want to make allegations about my behavior to make your business appear correct in not addressing my dogs health? You are interested in making money not relationships or the care of our beloved pets. (And I see why as you drive very expensive cars different days of week --made off of us pet owners hearts. :( I'm so very disappointed in your response. a quick check of her eye by dr. Wallace would have been the professional caring thing to do. Period. That sir, is all I wanted. and now, I would not let you perform anything on my pets. For required vaccines I will go to the Caldrons Pet Choice on Tully/Standiford (where Mr.T's donuts is) that offers shots each Saturday from 10am-11:30 from VIP PET CARE at a lower cost. I truly do not want this to happen to any other pet owner and the reason I left the review. It's a horrible helpless feeling that I paid good money for:(

Proof that I asked them to please keep me informed- I've never had a vet NOT tell me when shots are due.

Well I guess Dr. Gill doesn't care to rectify the situations either, so I retract what I said about him in my prior review. I was informed by a dogwalker last week that my puppy was missing 2 shots that were necessary to sign him up for walks. I paid up front for the premium puppy plan back in March (nearly $300), so I decided that I would just suck it up and take my puppy just for those 2 shots as they should have been covered with the purchase of the plan. Upon arrival I was told that I should have made THEM aware that I wanted him to have those shots. HOW would I know that he needed them? I'm not a vet! I asked them if they would honor the shots since they didn't communicate to me that those were options and the manager told me that there's "nothing they can do about the past but they'll consider informing people in the future." Dr Gill has no interest in making this right because the manager checked with him and he's the one that told her to relay that info. Very disappointing. My sister just told me this morning that her family received letters that they are being dismissed from the office- they have nothing to do with me and the valid complaints I've made. I know my sister has told them about issues she's had as well, but I feel like they're punishing my family because they're not happy that I spoke up.My sister also paid for the premium plan and still has 2 visits she hasn't used- guarantee you they're not going to want to reimburse her for them even though she already paid. I told my sister that they're honestly doing her a favor, to not give their bad business any more of her energy or money. I think I have visits I didn't use either but I'm not even going to bother. Of course it's easier for them to dismiss anyone who advocates for their pets and points out the issues they need to resolve instead of making things right. Lack of accountability and terrible communication. ALSO-if you expect them to inform you when shots are due you're sadly mistaken. The dogwalker also told me that my senior dog was due for all but 2 vaccines since April! Nobody ever told me and he's been in several times since April for other reasons. I specifically told them in Nov 2021 in an email with my dogs previous records attached to please inform me when he was due. They knew I had a new puppy at home and didn't bother to make sure that my other dog was up to date. They never said a word, because they don't pay attention and quite frankly nobody there cares. Take your babies somewhere else. Community Vet in Turlock is a bit of a drive, but Dr B and his staff are worth it.

Ask the Community - Valley Veterinary Hospital

How much is it to spay a 8 month old female kitten with shots?

I think it is around $80.

How much does cremation of a cat cost, & is there any documentation required? My husband told me he paid 10.00 & they wouldn't or didn't give him a receipt. I say he's lying he dumped my poor baby in the GARBAGE!!! :-(

He is probably lying. Even community cremation is more than $10. (We just had our kitty euth'd at Valley Vet last week :'( ). You have to sign a legal permission form and approve the costs. Then you receive a receipt. I'm so sorry for your loss… Read more

But from the moment we walked into the office, I knew he was in the best hands. First of all, the place is clean (and doesn't smell like a typical vet office, which is a big win already). The entire team, from the receptionists to the vet techs, were kind, patient, and genuinely caring. I called a lot during the surgery (sorry, team ), and not once did anyone make me feel like I was a bother. They were always sweet and thoughtful, and took time to answer all my nervous questions. The doctor was amazing. He explained everything clearly, which helped me go from anxious to confident about the surgery. Harley's procedure went perfectly, and now we're on day five of recovery, his sutures look fantastic, the swelling has gone way down, and the bruising is almost gone too! Also worth mentioning, I had quotes from another vet that were almost double the cost. This team was honest, transparent, and incredibly fair. If you're looking for a vet who treats your fur baby like family (and also doesn't judge when your "baby" weighs 100 pounds and still tries to sit on your lap), this is the place. I can't thank them enough. 10/10 recommend, Harley gives it two paws up (when he's allowed to use both again

We were glad the Vet Dr Hong, did a good thorough job and the surgery was very good. We like and we're happy with the Vet Drs, we've known Dr. Lattig for a long time & so are the new Drs. However, their customer service on the front desk is terrible, we made several calls to find out if our dog is ready for pick-up, not one answered the phone as the calls were made after 5pm, NO ONE picked up the call and it goes into a never ending loop, the selection we made was #3 which is a non emergency call which was just to find out if our dog is ready to pick-up. It was very frustrating & angered us since the office should have called us for courtesy call that our dog was ready for pick-up. We decided to just go in the center, there were at least 3 people in the front desk and yet no one picked up our call, the excuse was.. we should select #1 which is emergency, but we told them the call was not emergency so.. we were so upset that we told them we just spent $3,000.00 for my dog's care and could not even get a proper customer service. The management of Standiford Vet Hospital should change their answering machine to press 1 after 5pm so people calls get answered by the staff who seemed to not be aware of what customer service means at any given time in their 24hr hospital. This was a very very aggravating day for us. We hope that they train their front desk personnel much better especially on phone calls that should not be ignored at any given time in their 24hr service hospital.
