The did an excellent job detailing our car that had recently been stolen. The fabric seats were left very dirty and stained..... they look brand new. The owner is very professional and friendly. I was very happy with the price. My wife had this same car detailed at Gleam for a higher price several months ago and they were not able to get the seats as clean as CrownKote just did. After 2 weeks of being unable to even talk to someone to get my car scheduled to be detailed I have cancelled my Groupon and look elsewhere. It gives me no pleasure to write this updated review of the Essential Detail, as I had such a positive experience last time. This time the job could be defined as anything but "detailed" with crumbs visible in various areas, loose dog hairs, incomplete drying (streaks visible on exterior, incomplete cleaning of the interior upholstery and door jambs... I can tell you with even more certainty that this job was improperly completed because I took it home and within an hour of cleaning (with a couple wet rags, a cheap car vacuum purchased from Amazon, and ironically the upholstery cleaner they had recommended I use when I last visited) it was looking much better. I was also able to get out a few stains with very little effort that should have been taken care of. Last time I came I was so impressed with how well they cleaned out my car, the affordability, and their humility. This time it was not even worth a fraction of what I spent. read more

Bought a Groupon for detailing and emailed to schedule the appointment. Mandy responded and said they were having a Christmas in July special which would work better for me since I wanted to upgrade to a pet package and they can't do that with Groupons. She suggested I ask for a refund for my Groupon then purchase direct through their Christmas in July special link which I thought was kind of her. I got a refund via Groupon but wasn't sure which package was the best for my car given its size so I asked Mandy what she would recommend. She never responded so I followed up about 6 days later and still no reply... At least I'm not stuck with a Groupon for a place that apparently doesn't even want my business. Update: They forgot to put my car mats back in my car. I tried calling three times, left voicemail, and even went to the business during open hours and waited after pushing the doorbell numerous times. After that I ended up going to Costco to just buy new car mats. Very unprofessional. I had my partner give them a call about getting his car detailed and he got a response a week later, but they can't respond to former customers? Wow very cool. This is a great place to go to get exceptional service for your car. I found them on Groupon, as many others have based on the reviews I read - although I was told after picking up my car that I should just directly contact them next time because you get the same deal through them as you would through Groupon. My car looked great, was done after about 3 hours. As for getting ahold of them for scheduling your service, you should go to the building personally. I had tried calling and left a voicemail, and never got a response. Not a bad thing but it'd be easier just to do this all over the phone. I'll probably be going back in the future. read more

Crownkote does an amazing job at a reasonable price. Check their website for detailing specials. They are upfront if there are any additional charges for 3rd row seats or extreme cleaning needs. Not even worth one star. Horrible job- was going to bring it back to them to re-do until I realized it was the owner that came out to look at my car when I said it was a horrible job and he could have cared less. Should have known from the moment I walked into the door. They told me it would take 2 1/2 hours to clean my car- they called me and told me it was done 55 minutes later. You can't do a good job detailing any car in that amount of time. Told me they steam cleaned my carpets- they were completely dry and you could tell they didn't vacuum under the mats. How? Groupon gift to my wife since I usually clean the car myself Why? Thought they could do a better job than me When? Yesterday Where? A difficult to find commercial property. The inside of which was dark, dank and disorganized (not even a table to write on) What? "Essential Service" - It was a topical vacuum, interior wipe down with some type of vinyl and leather protectant/ cleaner and a wash and wax. Problem? I guess I just expected better than I could do myself. I could do the same job with $3 in quarters for a vacuum, a bottle of the best interior leather and vinyl protectant, a rag, the best bottle of cleaner wax and 1 solid hour. Overall - For me, overpriced for such a basic service. For others maybe cleaning your car is a horrible event. Thanks anyway but I'll take it from here. read more

I recently went in and I was getting in my car this morning and was greatful for what they did to my car! It felt fresh and nice. They literally got in every place plus more. I asked them if they could move some stuff in my trunk (I knew that there was alot of stuff in it) and they did. I guess that's what happens when you ask for something to see if that is possible. I also was told not to buy a Groupon because they only get half of what you pay for on Groupon. They will still offer the same deal same price. So I returned it payed cash! I bought a Living Social deal and called with about a week before it expired. Chris couldn't get me in until after the expiration but said he would honor the deal anyway - off to a get start. I dropped my car off the night before my appointment and was pleased when I got a call saying that they had my car and keys and that they would work on my car at the scheduled time later that day. I really appreciated the update - always nice to know! It ended up being a snowy day so when Chris started work on my car he called to ask what I wanted to do about the exterior - I could bring it back another day or he would upgrade the interior detailing. It's always a bit of a hassel to get my car dropped off and picked up so I opted for the upgraded interior clean. I really appreciated the option and was so glad they didn't just proceed with the exterior clean since that would be pointless on a snowy day. When I came to pick up the car Chris was on the phone but he promptly got off when I arrived - very much appreciated! He gave me a quick rundown on the work, had me sign some papers and I was on my way with my beautifully cleaned car! This is the first time I ever had a car detailed but I was very impressed and will have to do it again! read more

I paid $149 plus 20% tip and upon first glance everything looked good. After getting car home and under my super bright large lights I was left less then happy! (5/9/16) ......follow up........ I just took my car back in after texting and sending pictures to the owner. They were very apologetic and said this is not typical of how they do detail work and were very quick to find a day and time for me to come back and get it done right. Jason detail manager met me this morning and he personally did the work and my car looks the best it ever has!!! Not everyone has a good work ethic and sometimes paid help falls short so I'll chop it up to someone having a bad day on my initial visit. Just returned home from getting my car detailed at CrownKote. I decided to try them based upon their reviews but after paying for a much more pricy--and sloppy--detail at CarToys--I still did not allow myself to expect too much. Cutting to the chase, the quality of the service this small family business provides is offers is excellent. They were great at cleaning the nooks and crannies of my car's interior. I now understand why they are booked out three weeks in advance. Word of warning, this is a small shop that does not appear to have a dedicated receptionist so you have to be persistent in texting/phoning them to schedule service but it is well worth the effort. read more

If I could give them lower than 1 star I would. I took 2 SUV's for them to detail, one of which was an easy job as I had just bought it so the previous owner had already cleaned most of it out pretty well. I picked it up and the interior hadn't even been vacuumed. There were large crumbs and even a full size chapstick in the back. The leather was still dirty and so obviously so that I could take my finger, lick it and clean the dirt off. DO NOT use these people!! read more

Sketchy place that's super hard to find, nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone, and always has deals on Groupon for a reason.

When I picked up my car, it was raining and I went to get it on my bicycle. So I wasn't as observant as I should have been. To clean the aluminum wheels, Chris sprayed an acid mixture that went thru the wheels and caused bright orange rust to form on the calipers. It's permanent and it looks bad. Also, on BMW X-3s, there is an odd place on the windshield pillars where the fabric (I saw this on every one I test drove) has a tiny wrinkle. Chris used something to attempt to tuck it in and cut the fabric. He just left these things and didn't tell me, hoping I wouldn't notice. He did try to upsell me on some clear coat for a ton of money though. I won't ever be going back to this place, my car won't ever be the same from the first trip. read more

I had my vehicle detailed here on 1/20/18 and I initially was only going for the essential package and ended up going with their classic package (valued at $139.99). I came at 3pm, they took my vehicle back around 330 and finished in right about 2hrs. I was ok with the result but noticed a few things after I had gotten home and looked in the light the next day. There was a stain on my rear seat passenger side on the back and was impossible to miss, as was the floor storage compartment on the floor near backseat (they see it immediately when pulling up the mats) it had a few cleaning supplies which I knew had spilled inside the compartment and this had not been touched as well as the back seat pocket drivers side had some crumbs and dirt in there which they didn't even been bother to vacuumed. I also notice that my truck bed hadn't been washed either even though it was cleared out specifically for that purpose! I did use the 10% off coupon here on yelp for the classic which brought it to $125.10 but that along with tip brought me to over $140 which is very disappointing when they missed such obvious things. Update: I purposefully left 6.00 in quarters in my center console which have miraculously disappeared and there's no sign of them as I had previously hoped. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking that he may have put them in the bag of stuff that they compile while cleaning the vehicle but I have searched every inch before posting this to see if they were there and unfortunately they are not. read more

I got the essentials detail service done to my Mazda and they did quite a spectacular job for $70. The exterior looked like the 70,000 mile vehicle was still on the lot and the interior was about a 9/10. Not perfect but way better than I have the means or patience to do myself. read more

He literally brought my 9-year old Honda back to pristine condition. Why didn't I find this place sooner? Terrible customer service. Purchased a Groupon thinking it was a good deal on a detail service. I own a 2014 Tacoma. I'm constantly on the road for work. My truck was in need of a full detailed service. In the end was charged just as much if I would have bought an upgrade package. There were streaks left all over and zero elbow grease to remove the bugs from the front end. I was thinking this was going to be a way more professional business. I bought a Groupon for this place since it had great reviews. I dropped my car off to get detailed and sat in their waiting room for a bit before I got someone's attention in the back. A few hours later I picked up my car and quickly looked over my car with Mandy the owner. At a glance the car looked okay. On the drive home I started to notice several areas of the car that were still dirty. The steering wheel, vents, center console and under the seats were all missed. There was also a scratch on the top of the leather console...probably from the vacuum hose being dragged across the top of it. I called back and spoke with Mandy and she said to bring the car back. So I scheduled another appointment. After it was "cleaned" again I looked over my car and saw that the detailing inside was mediocre and there was some sort of residue on my speedometer that would not come off. I showed Mandy and she started to wipe it down and added some cleaner/solvent on it for about 40 minutes. She then preceded to tell me that it was oxidation and that there was no way that it was their fault. I assured her that oxidation does not occur in an hour and that my car did not have that prior to being cleaned. It was clearly a chemical reaction to something that was on the cleaning rag. Eventually most of it came off and I had her give me some of the solvent to use at home. Considering the experience I had I would never bring my car back or recommend anyone to. This place has to step it up to call themselves an auto detail shop and hire people who know how to professionally detail cars. The detailing was equivalent to one of the hand wash car washes you pay $15 for around town. read more

Most expensive detail I've ever gotten for the worst job I've ever seen. Left dirt in all kinds of crevices that even they admitted was not standard. Dumped enough liquid into my electronics to put my power locks on the fritz for a couple of weeks. Refunded a small amount before I left though it barely covered what I tipped. Offered to redo the parts I had specifically requested done, while I waited, but I had already been there for at least two hours and had to go. Would not refund any more money after I got home, saw it in the daylight and realized just how terrible the job was. Only offered to have me bring it back in, 45 minutes away, to a place that almost destroyed my electronics. No thanks, I don't want to bring my car back to you to get damaged again. read more

Chris also went above and behind to fit me into their busy schedule as quickly as he could. My appointment was today, and from the moment I came to drop my car off I received the same exceptional customer service. He was helping another customer and me at the same time, but he was quick yet thorough, acknowledged me, and I felt attended the entire time. I dropped off the car and received a text message when it was done later in the day, saving me time from calling to check on the status. I have a 7 year old car and Chris brought it back to life for me. He was realistic with me as to some of the fixes he could do on the dents, scratches, and door dings, but he was able to go above and beyond with the care he gave to my car and most of the scratches were completely gone. The car was also very shiny and waxed very nicely. I was also impressed with the care he gave the seats. I have had my car detailed once before and the seats were soaked, even after a couple of hours. Chris did a better job and the seats were nice and dry when I picked up the vehicle. It had also rained a little before I picked it up and he took the time to hand dry it before I took it. Chris knows his stuff, is very professional, is passionate about his business and making the customer happy, and provides great and personable customer service (which can be difficult to find). I am looking forward to returning and referring my friends and family. If you're considering getting a simple or more intense detail for your car, look no further. You will not be disappointed. I originally found this shop through a Living Social deal and brought in my Jeep. Chris fit me in on a busy weekend and did an awesome job on the inside and out of my vehicle. He definitely exceeded my expectations, and went as far as touching up the paint on my bumper to prevent rust! I was so impressed, I also had Chris detail my wife's Volvo.
