After a week of driving down to visit the sand dunes, my car was due for a wash. Colorado Auto Wash was on the way home, so I stopped by and paid for a basic $8 wash using cash and coins. Smooth process. Empty for 5pm on a holiday weekend. Excellent wash, super efficient. I didn't get out of the car to use the vacuums because it was so cold outside, but it seems like there are limited spots that are high in demand during the standard work week. Nevertheless, I was impressed with how streakless my car ended up. Will come back for future washes! read more

After driving on some dirt (muddy) roads in Kansas, my car was looking pretty bad by the time I got to my son's place in Arvada. I found this site on Yelp - less than a 1/2 mile from my son's house. The staff was super. They apologized for a 2 or 3 delay in getting in - I hadn't even noticed any delay. The basic wash (with free vacuums)!is $8 but I upgraded to the $13 wash which included an underbody wash (see comment above about the mud in Kansas). My car came out the other end looking great. The 14ER Express Pass membership option is the way to go! It is such a good deal! I can come here every day for a premier car wash if I wanted to, which is so awesome! The employees have consistently been friendly and helpful. If you go with any of their monthly memberships you get a small sticker/pass on your driver's side windshield. Members enter in a special lane that lets them get through the line quicker, just another perk of that monthly membership! Quick and reliable neighborhood car wash. Basic wash was $8 and it includes free self service vacuums. The place is small, they only have around 8ish slots to park and vacuum so if it's filled you have to wait in another area (church next door) and hope one slot opens. Also, my passenger side mirror always get turned in or outward when I'm here (I have a small Subaru) not sure why! This only happens here. read more

I just want to say thank you to Colorado Auto Wash. I am retired and am spending more and more on literally everything. My car really needed to be cleaned and I was able to go and come home with a really clean car. The wash cleaned my car's exterior and the vacuum was strong. It felt good! Great place and after the car wash Matt saw me taking pictures and asked what I was doing so I told him and he gave me a card saying the next wash is on him. Amazing that this happened. The light show in the car was is also great plus free vacuums after you are done. The simple wash is 5 dollars then the advanced is 10 and comes with a number of things. My garden hose would have probably done about the same job as this place. I got the $10 mid tier wash (price raise coming December 2022) and it didn't clean bird poop off my window even after the attendant quickly sprayed part of it off with a hose before the wash. It didn't even get the light dirt/water spots off my windshield. The pressure is too low and the cycles are way too fast. The whole wash and dry takes maybe around a minute or minute and. A half, meaning it's barely being sprayed down and soaped once or twice. A near complete waste of money. read more

Instead of being judgy because I didn't have the funds a guy running the payment bought me a car wash. The car wash was thorough and got my beauty looking shiny. I just returned from the wash - I went during the week and had no issues with lines at wash or at the vac. The place was clean and everything seemed to be working like it was suppose to. I got the classic wash which was quick and did OK - my Forester was really dirty and it did miss the back pretty badly, some areas of the lower panels behind the rear wheels and I needed to hand dry the car afterwards. The vac had reasonable suction and did well getting up the loose dirt/rocks. Recommend you bring an chamois if you get the cheap wash or they have some vending machines for microfiber towels etc. Overall, it was a quick weekday visit and I was in and out in no time....I could see how the weekend would get rather crowded as its not much space to work around. The wash, and the vac pretty much take up all the room on the lot. read more

Visiting from out of town I had mud all over my 2011 Ford F250. I paid $14 for a wash. As I entered I saw the power wash hose on each side of my truck to knock off excessive debris... but Kyle did not use it AT ALL even though it was clear there was excessive mud on my running boards, wheel wells, and mud flaps. I ran it through and, of course, it did not all come off. I parked and walked to the front of the line and asked if I could run it back through. As I was speaking to Kyle, the other employee (Austin) was using the power wash hose on a brand new Corvette that was hardly dirty at all. Kyle said I could not run it back through. In anticipation of what I was going to ask, Kyle said, "we don't do wheel wells". I told him it's not just the wheel wells and asked him to at least look at it. He continued, "we don't do running boards, wheel wells or mud flaps". He DIDN'T EVEN TRY!! He sprayed NOTHING with the power washer and was completely happy to let me leave with mud still caked onto my truck although they were all too willing to help out the guy in the new, clean Corvette. Kyle quite clearly did not even try to satisfy a customer and went out of his way to make me angry... that was his goal over customer satisfaction. At this point I completely lost my cool because Kyle just ripped me off for $14 and DID NOT EVEN TRY to help me get the clumps of mud off my truck. This is likely the only job Kyle can even get and he has a need to feel some level of power, at your expense, at a car wash. Kyle does not deserve a job and this car wash has clearly created a culture where his poor treatment of customers is ok. This car wash does not deserve your business. Update: After contacting the owner I went back the following day. Austin apologized profusely for his co-worker's insolence and did a very good job cleaning my truck. Austin is a good guy and clearly puts customers first. This is what Kyle should have done the day before. Why he still has a job is beyond my ability to comprehend. Usually I go to The Glo on Sheridan, but I thought I'd try Colorado Auto Wash since I live somewhat close by. Unfortunately the wash and vacuum's can't compete with what The Glo offers. In comparison the wash at C.A.W. is more expensive for the middle tier, yet doesn't leave as clean of a result. The vacuums also aren't as powerful, and C.A.W. doesn't offer compressed air like The Glo does either (something that is actually really useful for cleaning cracks and crevices). I have yet to find anywhere that beats The Glo for quality vs price, which seems like it will remain my go to wash despite being a bit further. read more

As someone has already explained, you stay in your car as it's pulled through the wash and rinse cycles in the tunnel. It's a cross between a gas station car wash and a full service wash. I got the medium priced wash for $10. My car wasn't very dirty so I can't say for sure how well it cleans, but looked great today. Will be interested to see how it comes out after a snow when the car's coated with mag chloride. I went to a very similar car wash in Phoenix and they had compressed air hoses next to the free vacuums. With my dark interior the compressed air works great to blow the dust off the dash and leather seats. Wish they had included it here. You'll probably want to bring a towel or a chamois to give your vehicle a final wipe, though it comes out fairly dry. Overall, a great addition to this part of Arvada. My wife and I will definitely be using it again and again. read more

I love to keep my black car clean, which can be a serious challenge here in Colorado. This car wash is awesome. I purchased their unlimited pass so that I could go through as much as I wanted to. I recently moved far south and unfortunately there isn't a location anywhere near me that is convenient now. I was sad making my cancellation call to them because I love the service so much and wish that there was a second location out my way where I could still conveniently get my washes done. I originally went to this car wash for the free vacuums since our car needed some serious interior love. The day I went for the car wash I was told the vacuums couldn't be used because they were preparing for some painting that was to be done the next day...sad face. BUT, the guy generously upgraded my car wash, which was really nice of him. I went back the next weekend to finally do the vacuuming (because I didn't have time during the week) and another equally nice guy let me use the vacuums after I explained my situation AND gave me another free car wash since my car had already gotten a little dirty.
