I didn't notice them when I walked in but as I was cashing out the robbery was going down. I mused that all I needed was a good cab for tonight's fun activities..lol.. the sales girl gave me a high five. I will let you know how I enjoyed the two bottles that I bought one is called Valley of the Moon and the other one is a Reserve Cabernet call block 314. Can't wait to drink them and have some fun. It's crazy to think old people will steal vodka but I guess there are those kind of people in this world. All together my two bottles came out to $40 which i think is a fine deal. Block 314 was a good wine not spectacular but good...considering 2011 was the best year for Napa valley wines...we drank the entire bottle last night..with the exception of a few sips in each of our glasses that was left after finishing the bottle off. Still haven't tried Valley of the moon yet but when we do I will give you a heads up on how that one was. Love sharing great wine with special friends!!!! Update on Valley Of The Moon: This 2009 Sonoma wine had a really good taste it really did taste like all the ingredients they had displayed on the description like black cherry, black currants, cedar, bay leaf and black pepper wrapped around black plum and black tea. It was a great wine and I enjoyed it a lot and so did my guest. We polished the bottle off with ease. I would buy it again although I enjoyed Block 314 a little better because of the taste(it was a little more subtle) .

I've tried several Moscato brands, some were sweet, others lightly sweet. Recently I was introduced to the Jacob's Creek brand at Bonefish Grill and absolutely loved it. I wanted a bottle for myself. I found a small section of various Moscato brands in the back of the store, but they didn't have the one I wanted. I asked an employee at customer service if they had the Jacob's Creek Moscato in stock. After searching the item on the store's device, she informed me they didn't carry that brand of Moscato, but the Pembroke Pines location had plenty in stock. I thanked the employee for her help and left. I'll visit that location tomorrow. There was no way I was driving all the way to Pembroke Pines at this time. That was a place down the street that said, "We don't have what you are looking for, but try Deerfield Discount. They don't look like much, but they have everything". I was surprised that the nice place for one, didn't have the things we needed for the Mai Tai's we wanted to make that day, and for two, would recommend another place. I walked into the unassuming spot. It wasn't fancy. There was a few customer's and a handful of people working there in the store. A fella that was working the floor came up to me right away and offered to help find what I was looking for. Within minutes the 2 or 3 things that I couldn't find elsewhere, this guy wrangled for me. I was impressed on how stocked they were in rare things you wouldn't normally be looking for like orange tinctures. For the entree, I went with Breast of Duck in Green Peppercorn Sauce. This brought back the best of memories. I also tried a little of the calf liver with caramelized onions. The entree included sides of mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and a carrot soufflé. The final course was a crème brûlée and coffee. I had to take the dessert home for later but so good and satisfying. Lovely experience with a party of 4. This is a great spot for special occasions.
