I had to order some trophies and medals for a Winter League I was running and obviously put it off…read moreto the very last minute. I called right around closing time Monday night and they assured me if they had the items in stock they could have them engraved by Wednesday. I called Tuesday around Noon after figuring out exactly what I needed and placed the order for 4 trophies and 15 medals (all with engraving). The person on the phone ensured me that they'd be ready on Wednesday by 4pm. I walk in Wednesday after 4 and they're all there waiting for me. The price was right, and the job was done very well. I brought them over to the league and everyone loved them, unfortunately we could only give them out to the champions and MVPs! When we sent someone to pick them up the day of the banquet, Andrew was extremely rude and told us that he would call when they were done. We called a few hours later and were told they would be done in 15 minutes. So we sent a second guy to pick them up who was again verbally abused by Andrew and left empty handed. Finally, two hours after that, someone was able to pick up the plaques and, of course, one out of the three were wrong. We sent the incorrect plaque back to be corrected and then didn't hear from anyone for WEEKS. We emailed multiple times and never heard anything until one day the plaque was magically done even though we hadn't heard a word and had considered it a lost cause. Then, of course, they demanded payment ASAP even though clearly they didn't care to do business efficiently. We paid and are done with them. I will NEVER use Trophy King again! Rude, verbally abusive, and not able to come through on what they say. Never again.

I really appreciate the fact that I didn't have to screw around hassling with them about it, having to return the incorrect item etc. It took one email to get the process of correcting the situation rolling. I've used Trophies By Jay before, but this experience was so bad it permanently ended any future business. I dropped off two fantasy championship trophies for plaque engraving, which should be one of the simplest, most routine jobs imaginable. After an entire week of complete silence, I called for an update and was told, word for word, "Fantasy trophies are not the priority right now. I'll get to them when I can." No timeline. No apology. Just blatant dismissal. I gave it more time and called again four business days later, only to receive the exact same response. When I pressed for an ETA, I was told there was none and that he maybe could get to it by the end of the following week--nearly three weeks after drop-off for basic engraving. At that point, it was clear my order was never going to be treated with even minimal importance. Rather than taking responsibility or communicating like a professional, the owner became openly hostile and combative on the phone, telling me to come pick up the trophies so he "didn't have to deal with" me asking for updates. When I arrived to retrieve them and calmly stated I would be leaving a review, he had a full meltdown--stormed into the back room, started yelling, and ordered me out of the store like a child throwing a tantrum. Yes, the physical work is passable--but that is completely overshadowed by the astonishing level of arrogance, disrespect, and contempt shown toward paying customers. The owner clearly does not value people's time, does not understand customer service, and should not be running a business that requires any interaction with the public. If you value professionalism, communication, or even basic human decency, take your business anywhere else. This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I will never return. I strongly recommend others avoid this place entirely.
