When the kid was done he mentioned to me "I broke one of the bolts off so you will have to replace it yourself." I said you're supposed to do that and he told me: "Nope. We don't carry any bolts." I ran down stairs to the bathroom to see what kind of mess he left me and there to my amazement is the toilet sitting on the tile, the tank lid on the sink, bathroom rugs piled in a corner and the opening where the toilet sits wide open with the old wax ring still around the opening!! He also washed his filthy hands in our sink and didn't bother to clean it up! I ran upstairs, but he was already gone. Now, I didn't request this service to be done, the buyer of our house did but they expected ME to buy new bolts, wax ring and reseat it myself!!! I WAS LIVID!! This is THE WORST OUTFIT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!! They tore apart our bathroom and then left it that way for me to fix and clean up! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHADY PIECE OF CRAP COMPANY! They expected a 69 year old man to clean up and reseat the damn toilet himself, after THEY took it off!! If I could leave pictures of the freaking mess, I would. I still cannot believe that they did this and then just walked away! Oh and by the way, they wanted me to sign a WAIVER because they re NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THEY MIGHT INFLICT! I just sit here in amazement that a company like this exists!! UPDATE: I JUST TALKED TO JOE, THE OWNER OF DRAIN BUSTERS AND HE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE UNDERSTANDING!! HE SYMPATHIZED WITH WHAT WE WENT THROUGH AND SAID HE WILL RETRAIN WHOEVER WAS OUT HERE. I WOULD USE DRAIN BUSTERS AGAIN, JUST BECAUSE HE LISTENED TO ME AND DID NOT MAKE ANY EXCUSES. SO WHATEVER I WROTE ON TOP, WAS OUT OF SHEAR FRUSTRATION AFTER WHAT I WENT THROUGH. JOE, YOU ARE A VERY CLASSY GUY!

I was in between…read moreapartments and had to rent a truck twice, once to move from apartment to storage and another time to move from storage to apartment...You get the idea. My first experience here was really easy, the truck was $39.99 + Tax and suited all my needs. There was some confusion over my method of payment, they authorize a card for $250 for deposit then you get charged after the rental is returned for whatever the cost is plus mileage, gas, etc. The $250 then gets put back on your card, well in my case they accidentally charged my card, luckily they were able to refund it and there was really no harm done. My second experience was just as easy, I asked for the same thing I had a month ago and there was no questions asked. Once I payed I notice the rate is suddenly $49.99 + Tax. There is no price listing I can find on the web site and when I asked about the change I was told they just moved their rates on the 1st of the month. Seemed a little fishy to me especially since it was May 1st and I was specific in asking for the same thing I just had less than 30 days ago. I would think at the time i was filling out paper work before actually renting the truck someone would have mentioned, "Hey, by the way our rates changed starting this month and it is different from your last rental". I didn't really feel valued as a customer who came back twice in a month to rent equipment and was a little upset I wasn't informed about the change in price. (I usually wait until I have a full day of work for him each time.) Clearly, it is past their return policy of 30 days. I ordered online, but called to make sure I was ordering the correct part for my model cooktop. They recommended and sent the wrong part. So, I called today to see if I could send it back and get the correct part.* I wasn't asking for a refund. After speaking with a woman for some time I asked to speak with the owner. Don reiterated that I was calling more than a year past their return policy and that there was nothing he could do because he didn't know who I spoke with. It doesn't matter who I spoke with, it is his company and it's his policy. Reading the recent reviews it seems the current ownership/management has a few very unhappy customers. I'm one of them. We quickly searched up and then decided on getting a new one from a small business. After our in store visit and finding what we wanted, with a better warranty and price than the big company offered, we paid. We skipped the delivery and haul away as we are capable and I wanted to give the community a chance to part out the fridge (appliance parts are $$$$) for no cost. Also made it lighter for us taking to drop off for recycling. Fast forward 11 months, we decided our washer and dryer had been fixed enough times and it was time to upgrade. Again, we found better pricing and warranty at Appliance Depot. Our 3 appliances are doing great. The one service call we made, for the fridge, was soon after the request was made, repair person was timely, and we had a laugh at the user error that prompted the call to begin with. Fast forward again, and we need a microwave. Likely a dishwasher coming up too. We will be going back to Appliance Depot!

Unfortunately I have to post a negative review. McFarland facilitates Koehler warranty work &…read moretherefore were dispatched to our home after Koehler was super awesome and warranty replaced our leaking faucet. Koehler overnight aired a new faucet to our home. Upon arrival, McFarland was told multiple times the faucet was leaking. They completely ignored ours & Koehler's request to replace the faucet & instead took the new faucet with them & blamed the water leak on something else. In turn, we were forced to pay a different plumber $175 only to come out & tell us what we already knew...the faucet was leaking. Here's where it gets horrible...I called back to McFarland and Marcia McFarland who answers the phones was completely rude, dismissive & short with me. She also forced me to call back to Koehler to open yet another ticket (which I presume would allow them to get paid for a 2nd trip) which meant another 45 min on hold. Upon connecting to a Koehler rep, I was told by the rep that apparently Marcia had already added notes essentially stating I was lying & the faucet wasn't leaking. I was furious at this point. Because of these notes, I had to capture a video of the leak (which I then did) & send to both Koehler & McFarland. Once the new ticket was created I called back to McFarland to schedule the 2nd visit. On the call I inquired about reimbursement for the $175 I paid the other plumber to come out & tell me the faucet was leaking. Marcia went off on me!! She has NO PLACE answering phones for a company! Sooooo RUDE! She was yelling at me stating they wouldn't come to my house now unless I signed a form stating they were not responsible for the $175. I disagreed...they are 100% responsible for us having to have a second plumber out to verify what they should have accepted the first time they were there. To wrap it up, Steve did come out and replaced the leaking faucet eventually & all works now. Unfortunately we are out the $175 and McFarland is to blame but we have no recourse outside of litigation. Avoid this company at all costs as they take zero responsibility for their mistakes.
