Perfect for when it's late at night and everything else closed. Staff with a sense of humor. Love the munchers.

McDonald's - Large French Fries

This review is honestly less about McDonald's itself and more about what I got, because listen…read more.. the Grinch Meal?! So cute. McDonald's partnered with The Grinch this holiday season, and I had to try it. I was genuinely excited. You get the option of nuggets or a Big Mac, fries, and the fun part--your fries come with this dill pickle shaker. And let me tell you, that shaker was EVERYTHING. It gave the fries this really good, almost parmesan-style flavor, and I loved it way more than I expected. The nuggets were crispy and good, no complaints there. The box itself was festive and fun, and the Happy Meal "toy" was Grinch socks, which honestly felt like a little adult Happy Meal moment--and I was here for it. The socks were a cute bonus, but overall the meal itself was just fun and festive. It felt like a holiday moment. Now, about this McDonald's location in general--I come here all the time with my son after school (what kid doesn't love McDonald's?). The atmosphere is pretty chill. The music is always bumping--lots of reggaeton since you're right near Spanish Harlem--which honestly adds to the vibe. That said, it could be cleaner, and there isn't a lot of seating. Tables fill up fast, so you're either sharing space or waiting for someone to leave. Usually, it works out because it's very much a neighborhood spot--you see families, friends, middle school kids, all of that. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes it's a little slow, sometimes it's on point. But if you're a regular and they recognize you, things definitely move faster. Overall, the Grinch Meal was a win--cute, fun, and tasty. It gave me exactly what I wanted: a little holiday joy, good fries, crispy nuggets, and some Grinch socks to take home.

Raising Cane's Harlem is pure chicken tender happiness, that entire family can enjoy!…read more From the moment I walked in, the art, history, disco ball over the tables was a complete vibe! The friendly upbeat atmosphere, smiles, music playing, had my little god daughter (5yrs old) was excited to be in the building!! The service was exceptional, from the gentleman over the phone that helped us find the location, there was no wait to place our order. Brianna assisted us, with our excellent experience. Now onto these crispy, golden, perfected tenders which were hot, juicy, and seasoned just right. First time trying the cane sauce. Paired perfectly with the tenders, crinkle-cut fries were crisp and fresh, the Texas toast buttery heaven! My order came out fast, accurate, and served with genuine Harlem hospitality. The restaurant was very clean, and spotless, which says a lot for a super busy area like 125th street. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or late-night comfort meal, this Raising Cane's delivers! Harlem didn't just get a chicken spot--it got a whole vibe.

Holy Burger - BEST HOLY DOG - NYC'S TOP HALAL HOT DOG!

Holy Burger

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…read more Oh wait. You mean, you weren't joking? Okay. Let's recap. I got a sponsored ad for Holy Burger. One of our burger go-to's recently closed, and I was willing to give it a shot. Though they seem to have a few outposts, I'm always one to support a mom-and-pop as opposed to larger names. This was my first time ordering. It will be my only time. This review is based on delivery. For over $60 (before tip), I was expecting something... else I guess. Mediocre burger? Check Slightly better than okay fries? Check Small Chopped chicken with cheese? Check Combo with like five or six fries? Check A shot glass of "cola" that comes with the combo? Check. Nothing memorable, and I'm still hungry. Also I ordered a double smash burger, not only have I had better, their "onion smash" had like one sliver of onions on it. Guess I was expecting an Oklahoma style onion burger, so massively disappointing. Save your money and go anywhere else. I seriously have no idea how this place has 4 stars and above all, is still in business. Nothing like pricing out the neighborhood and any decent places for the residents,

Walking home from my occasional Columbus Ave errands I saw Holy Cow and wondered what it was…read morebecause as far as I could tell, they were a newcomer on that block. Immediately did an online search as I rounded the corner onto CPW and yes, holy cow! Burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries! And the kicker is it's all Halal. We ordered all of those things. They did get one thing wrong: we ordered wings but they sent tenders (or boneless wings...which taste the same to me). We did order the wings a couple weeks later on our second try. They're very spicy. Burgers were fine, fries were fantastic (crispy, well seasoned). Fine choice when you're hankering for standard American grill foods and some delicious fries. Prices are good but delivery and other fees are outrageous. Our recent order of two burgers, wings, one small fries came to $69 after taxes, fees, and tip.
