New to yelp, first review! I've been here a few times... Did performance exhaust, radar detector, and rims on my bmw 328xi a few years ago. Mark, the owner, offered me a big discount on the exhaust after his supplier made a shipping error. I really appreciated the gesture and the honesty - the work was done on time anyway, so he could have charged me full price and I wouldn't have even known. They're great at customizing, too. Had the sensors for the radar detector installed inside of the front and rear bumpers, with indicator LEDs coming through the instrument panel. VERY cool, and the work was extremely clean - no signs that anything in the car had been touched. To top things off, he offered to paint my brake calipers (hot rod red, of course) for free - he and his workers really take an interest in what you want and go the extra miles to get it done for you. I knew the rims I wanted were rare, and when I asked if I should look for something else, the salesman just said "You tell me which ones you like best and we'll worry about getting them for you." Also bought my new M3 there this year (#upgrade!). I was worried about bringing an $80K car under warranty anywhere but the dealer, but I'm glad I did. Turns out a lot of the dealerships in the area (even Mercedes, BMW, etc.) sub-contract to crown for their customization work anyway! Had just a radar detector done this time, but the work and service were excellent just like before. Crown Auto gets it done, as it has been doing for years! I have been a customer of Crown Auto since the 80's and wouldn't even think about trying anyone else. Mark always prides himself on offering THE BEST service and products for his customers. Yes, you get what you pay for, but he is always reasonable. Let's face it, the auto industry isn't what it used to be, but it is reassuring to know that Crown Auto and especially Mark will always be there to offer you service with a smile. If EVERY dealer in the area and beyond uses him for any and all of the work they need done and recommends him to all of their customers, that should tell you something. Crown auto should be your first and only call for WHATEVER you want done. Like Mark always says: "We can do whatever you want done".. and he means it! I just purchased my first ever jeep wrangler two days ago. I don't have a private location to park my vehicle so I was eager to have some security accessories installed for some peace of mind. My friend Jorge told me to give Crown Auto a call and ask for Mark. Mark, (I believe Pete, the older gentleman at the counter) and every other staff member were very welcoming, cheerful, and helpful. These guys were BUSY. They had all kinds of projects going on with wranglers, pick ups, work vans, and they moved heaven and earth to get my car in there. I highly recommend Mark and Crown Auto. I brought in my Jeep Wrangler and Mark spent a lot of time going through many different options to customize it. He has a ton of knowledge and was extremely helpful. There was also no pressure from him, which was great. When I decided what I wanted, Mark had all the part there the next day. I dropped off my Jeep before work and picked it up at the end of the day. Mark & his team did an awesome job. My Jeep looks a lot better for a relatively small investment. horrible horrible counter men working. there was a guy with a lazy eye who kept talking down to me when I was asking advice about a navigation. had no knowledge and acted like he was better than the world. he was very rude and obviously hates his job and life. after complaining the owner helped me who was better, but I had to go back SIX times to get my system installed correctly. when I told them I want a refund and for them to take back the system, all of a sudden, they fixed the problem. horrible horrible. regret spending $1,400 here. read more

Bryant and Mark was very helpful on getting my truck installed with the parts needed. They did and amazing and professional job. I will definitely bring all my future trucks here. I stopped by Crown Auto Center today, to get some work done on my truck. Bryant and Make both wet very helpful. They have a lot of knowledge on car repairs. I took my Mercedes for rear view camera installation in june and for honda odyssey roof rack plus a bike rack. My wife thought the view from the rear view camera was not covering left side, so I called Marc. He asked me bring it right away and he had it fixed. Bike rack was also upgraded for same price. Best thing I liked was the all calls were answered right away. .This was a pleasant experience after coming back to New york from a six year overseas army duty. Job well done. read more

In December of 2015 I went to Crown Auto to install a push bar and rear bumper guard on my Grand Cherokee. I went with a specific Westin push bar that I wanted. The price and service was great. The job was done when it said it would be done. They took the time and consideration to adjust and weld my rear bumper guard so I would not have to disable the rear parking sensor. Forget about what people said about crown in 2013, There had to be some reason for this happening which couldn't have been brought on by mark who is the owner, he is very quality controlled and stands behind his work.
