unfortunately Sophie Morris lied to my wife and I about damage to the car we purchased. After one month the bumper began to crack from a poor repair job. when asked about damage she initially denied knowledge about the damage but the next day my wife called and was able to get the truth. in fact the had repaired the car in-house. Sophie said she didn't have to tell the truth because the damage was under a $$ amount and had no legal obligation to disclose damage under that amount. Profit over customer satisfaction we even offered to split the cost to replace bumper and she refused! I have been a customer of Crown on the service side for about seven years. Over the years, they have always provided five star service going above and beyond what I would expect. This week, I got a chance to deal with them on the sales side. I bought a new 2025 Acura MDX from them dealing with my service rep, Chris Duncanson. This purchase went over several weeks as the 2025s are just coming out so it took some work to get in the exact model that I wanted with all of the options. Chris kept me informed during the entire process. Upon delivery, we had a very good conversation about additional options and services that I could elect at the time of purchase. Very informative without being pushy or trying to sell me on a certain package. He has also been extremely responsive since the day I picked it up with questions I had. Just a great buying experience. On the finance side, I dealt with Tim Lavoie. Tim was very helpful in helping me decide what sort of finance options were available. Being a finance person by background, I really appreciate his effort in understanding exactly what I was looking for and actually helping me with the lender to get the best rate and terms. Had an agreed to used vehicle purchase deal with Crown Acura. Over a holiday weekend they chose to sell the vehicle to someone else. No integrity. They certainly don't care about their customers or their own reputation. I very rarely write online reviews, but this place definitely displaces the behaviors that Used Car Dealers are known for exhibiting. Update: May 24th was the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Somebody from your dealership, that I had never heard of, sent a text with a link to submit a deposit, but that link didn't open. May 26th was Memorial Day. Not standard working days. I completed everything requested early the next business day May 27th. Additionally, today is May 30th snd your dealership still hasn't returned the deposit I did pay. You and your dealership acted in and continue to act unethically. read more

Why does a standard oil change and accompanying point check with the promised car wash always take about 3 hours out of my work day? I was hoping for a better first experience with routine service from Crown. It all started off well when I showed up, chatted with the nice lady who greeted me, and then met with Bart. He said it would take about 1.5 for an oil change with the car wash. He said he would text or call with any additional items that might be needed or to update me. My ride and I left to get breakfast close by. One hour and 15 minutes later, I had not heard anything, so I called him and got his voicemail, leaving an inquiry message. Then, we arrived back at the dealership shortly thereafter, and I caught him in his office. He said he needed to talk to me about two filters needing replacement, so no problem with me there. I asked him how long he expected that to take and he went and checked. Bart returned and said it would be about 30 minutes. I then told me ride to go ahead and leave me there. It was one hour and 20 minutes before I finally got out of there. Bart did stop by at one point and say that the car was going through the wash, but 40 minutes later, I finally inquired about the whereabouts of my car. Bart was nowhere to be seen, someone finally pulled my car up to the door, but then it took an additional 15 minutes before the asst. service manager was finally able to check me out. The employees here are a very friendly group of people with what seems like good intentions, but again, why should it take almost 3 hours when I'm told 1.5 hours? Can processes be reviewed to reduce customer wait time? read more

You down with the Crown? If not, you should be. I scheduled an oil change on the 2020 RDX (not purchased at this dealership) and the way the staff took on COVID precautions were great!! Everyone was wearing a mask, they sectioned off offices with plexiglass and would wipe down pens before and after each use. The waiting areas had seats labeled not to sit there to provide safe distancing. I was welcomed warmly and was shown the 2 waiting areas along with their WiFi passcode while I waited for the oil change to be done. The only knock was for an oil change and a exterior wash, it was just under an hour and 1/2. So plan accordingly if you get this type of service done. The 3.5 V 6 under a major recall , major steering problems with defective tie rod ends , fuel pumps that can fail and be a fire hazard. But once i was all checked in, the people let me know what was going on and showed me where to wait. They supply drinks (coffee/tea/water) and snacks while you wait. Cute idea! There's a few different options to sit and wait. Overall, it was a pretty basic experience. Nothing fabulous, nothing terrible. I just moved across the street so this will become my new dealership where i take my car for service, and probably get my next ride since I lease. Located right off 19 and easy to get to! One star is too many. I'm not even going to get into the details of the nightmare leading up to my car being delivered, the photos below speak for themselves. This dealership communicated to us multiple times that this was a flawless car and that we would be so happy with it. After the MONTH it took to get through the process of even buying the car, which was way too long especially with great credit, the car was delivered to me like this. The previous owner obviously had a dog that destroyed and chewed up the back, and some of the front seats, and there was dog hair everywhere! The car smelled awful and was clearly NEVER detailed. THE DEALERSHIP DID NOT TELL US and kept this obvious damage a secret until it arrived in NJ. Even if it is a used car, the dishonesty is unacceptable. The car was sent back immediately and my excellent credit was affected. Again, there's no need to get into more detail with my negative experience with this dealer. I would give LESS than one star if possible. BEWARE of the service department and manager JOHN SHAW!!! My 24 year old son was taken advantage of and taken for $9,000! In January, my son went in with his 2007 Acura MDX because he was hearing a banging noise. To preface, he had already been to this service department in the past for new tires, new exhaust system and more totaling $3,000+! With the recent diagnosis he was told that everything that would be done(new catalytic converter, transmission, shocks and struts). Would prolong the life of the car even though it was already at 200,000 miles!!!! My son chose to trust John instead of sending me the estimate and/or getting a second opinion. Flash forward 2 months later, he is still hearing a noise and when he was getting ready to merge onto the highway(with me ex husband and other son who were visiting), they heard a horrible noise and the bottom of the car fell out. IF THEY HAD BEEN ON THE Highway GOING 60 miles an hour they would be dead!!! When the tow truck and police arrived, they determined that the ball joints had become unattached. My son was told that this should not have been missed in the repairs and that proper diagnosis had not been done and they sent out an unsafe vehicle after a $9,000 bill! My husband tried to talk to service and he has also filed a claim with corporate Acura but John Shaw has not taken one iota of responsibility for his dishonesty and shoddy repairs. They would not give my son one dime back and tried to charge him for the un-drivable car that was sitting in their lot while my son is figuring out what to do and driving his company's mini van. This is a crime. Encouraging a 24 year old to put almost $13,000 into a 17 year old car with 200,000 miles!! My son trusted his word more than my advice, which is unfortunate, but he is walking away with no car and no money which is incomprehensible!! read more

The Crown Service Department is amazing. I just bought my new MDX from Crown, and I was waiting for my door edge guards and body side moulding to arrive. I met John and we instantly became friends! He tracked them down, and within a day they were all installed! The hand car wash was icing on the cake, too, as I have a ceramic coating on my paint, and brush washes are now out!
