A cute little candy story on Riverside Blvd. You can't help but support them. The next time you…read morewant to go to See's Candies, consider checking out a local Sacramento small business instead. The interior is a bit dark, but they have a huge deli case full of delicious chocolates for purchase. So many different types of truffles, bars, and other delicacies. I especially love the chocolate covered potato chips! You can also see that they're trying to keep up with the trends - Funko pops and beanie babies are arranged on one side of the establishment. The cashier was so sweet, no pun intended, and helpful. I hope they stay in business!

A hidden gem in Sacramento for chocolate lovers…read more The store is family owned and run, and they get business through word of mouth only. So it shouldn't be surprising that the interior of their store looks a bit dated and not exactly Instagram worthy. They're focused on making good chocolate. Still, I was charmed by the unique experience of choosing a box of custom chocolates and getting selection advice from the daughter of the man who made those chocolates. The chocolates were placed in a beautiful flowered box and tied with gold ribbon. And the price? $10 for 8 pieces. If that wasn't already enticing enough for you... they let you choose a free sample for yourself as well. I'll definitely be back!

It was…read morehard to find using Go0gle Maps because it took us to the backside of the plaza and we drove in circles looking for it. The place is actually located on the left side of the furniture store. The entrance itself says a lot.. grand, decorated, colorful, tall and huge. Walking in I was overwhelmed. Dulceria had everything! Rows and rows of candies, extra things hanging off shelves, fridges with queso and other perishables, sauces, dried goods, statues, piñatas hanging on the ceiling, so much stuff! It's a one-stop party supply. I walked around several times and each time I saw something new that I missed the first time around. There is TWO stories here, although you're not allowed to go all the way up the stairs. Prices are hit or miss. I got a really affordable piñata, but thought the box of tamarind candy was a bit pricey. Still, it's convenient and has everything in one place and it was fun walking around seeing all the items they offer. I'd recommend going here over Party City any day.

I'm sure you will find the perfect one no matter what you are looking for. They even have a second floor full of options. I found some Mexican candies I ate when I was a kid, it was a really nice. I purchased a few different once to share with my nephews. You can't come to this place and not buy more than one item. The nice thing is they have shopping carts to help you with your shopping needs. The only thing I was not happy to see is that the halls (cough drops) were expired. They had an expiration stamp of feb, 2024. Thankfully I check everything I purchase no matter where I go. I will be back for sure to buy more goodies

They make their own chocolates and I am the biggest sucker for salted chocolate caramels. I love that they have both dark and milk chocolate to mix it up a bit. I didn't get a chance to purchase their caramel apples as customers were buying them up, I will definitely have to try them as they must be a popular commodity. The shoppe is well organized with a wide variety of chocolates, gummies, peanut and pecan brittles and so much more. The young ladies that helped us were so friendly, welcoming and helpful they also mentioned their favorites candies. I will absolutely be back that's not a question. :)

This sweets shop offers a variety of chocolate treats, ice cream, and other confections. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming and even when they're busy they're happy to answer questions and make sure you get what you're looking for. There are treats available on the shelves around the store, as well as an ice cream counter, and then chocolates and other treats behind the counter. Some of my favorites are the cinnamon hard candies, the honeycomb candy, and the mint chocolates. We love picking up our favorites plus a few new items to try. They make their items in house, so it's not rare to see them working on some treats while you're in store- and if you're lucky they may even offer you some fresh samples- YUM! There are some tables to enjoy your treats right away and if you're purchasing them as a gift they can wrap them up specially for your recipient. On top of their regular items they also make specialty items for the holidays.
