I called ahead, gave my VIN, referenced recall PC068, and explained exactly what was going on. I scheduled what I was told would be a recall repair. When I arrived, it was set up as a diagnostic instead, which felt like a breakdown in communication and process. After that experience, I left pretty frustrated. The next day, Robert Quarles, the Service Director, called me personally. He had actually listened to the original call and acknowledged that I had been told the recall was open. That mattered. He didn't deflect or argue. He owned it. We had a direct conversation, got on the same page, and he committed to making it right. I brought the truck back in that Friday. They kept it through the weekend and into Monday, worked to reproduce the issue, and when they couldn't get the codes to return, they still made the decision to move forward and replace the IPDM under the recall. Jason, the lead technician, put in the work and they even drove the truck around 100 miles to make sure everything was solid before giving it back to me. They also provided a loaner, which wasn't originally part of the plan. That's the difference. The first interaction was rough, but leadership stepped in, took ownership, and followed through. That's what you want when something doesn't go right the first time. If you work with them, my advice is to be clear and verify details up front. But based on how this was handled in the end, they showed they are willing to stand behind it and do the right thing.

I just purchased a 2026 Ford Expedition Max Platinum from here and worked with Rod "The Aggie"…read moreDeason. We had a great experience. He was knowledgeable and worked with us on our trade in. I love my vehicle so far. I guess the only thing I'd say for anyone looking to buy this vehicle: I purchased it because it was almost exactly like the Lincoln Navigator I test drove. The Navigator just had too much tech (and I'm a techy person). This vehicle had just the right amount of tech without being over the top. However, I did not opt for the additional $7k upgrade and wish I would have. Rod mentioned that one of the differences would be road noise. During test driving I didn't feel that I heard much road noise, so I thought it was fine to save some money. It's not "road" noise I hear, but actual car noise. I'd imagine what I'm hearing is what Rod meant and I just didn't understand because I don't deal with this every day. Hindsight, I wish I would have upgraded $7k more. The noise isn't awful, but coming from a quieter Navigator to this, I can hear the difference now. I still love my car, but wish I would have test driven one with and one without the noise reduction to fully understand the difference. Oh well. Overall, a great transaction and we would come back for any future vehicles.

The price alone on that a joke but it took 2 days to get answers and a rep to give me an estimate on a trade in as well Did not want to sale a truck very bad. Deanthony has got to communicate better. I would rather ride a horse than ever come here again.

I am having to pay for a new transmission just so i can drive the vehicle safely. I brought the vehicle home on 5/16/26 and it has sat for over a month until i was able to find funds to take it to a transmission shop for a repair. The joy of a new car (even used) was stripped from me and the experience with them ruined all future purchasing experiences. I will never be able to trust someone selling me a vehicle. I will have anxiety and trauma that I carry the rest of my life and I have a lot of years to live. I was then told by the manager today that "I'm just trying to save $15" by refusing to pay for them to ship me my tags. I paid all fees due for them at the time of purchase and I will not pay this crooked dealership another dime. I am being forced to pay $8500 for a new transmission. I did all the research I could, asked why the vehicle was on the lot so long, had the salesman start the vehicle and show it to me before I even considering making the 6.5 hour trip. He told me (I have it in email) there is nothing wrong with this explorer. I informed the salesman about all of my struggles as my prior vehicle was totaled by someone running a stop sign and that I had been searching for this type of vehicle. He still acted with bad faith and sold me this vehicle. He is also a veteran so I naturally thought he would be a better person, but unfortunately he wasn't. As being a licensed insurance agent for the state of Texas I am held to a higher standard. If I were to conduct business the way they do my license would be taken from me, I could face jail time or have fines to pay. I have to take Ethics every license renewal and have to follow a good moral code. Which I pride myself on. They lack the very basic ethics training and have no moral code. I don't understand how someone could sleep at night screwing over many, many people. This dealership has multiple bad reviews, a F rating with the BBB and I'm praying God will soon let them reap what they have sown. Hard working Texans have trusted these people and have been screwed over. I am praying also that people will stay far away from this dealership so that others don't have to face all of these challenges. Even if I would have purchased a warranty with the dealership I don't feel they would have made the vehicle right. I feel they would have still ignored me like they do to other people. I had to stay on hold for over an hour just for the manager to take the call. Please stay away! One last thing, this experience has also affected my toddler who reminds me daily that I went on an airplane to buy a new car but it was bad car so it's parked in the garage. They will get their bad karma.

That savings is what led me to choose Tomball Parkway Chevrolet, and initially the experience was smooth and pretty painless. Where things started to unravel was after the transmission replacement was completed. Before bringing the truck in, I had diagnostics run at both O'Reilly and Christian Brothers. Neither showed P0300 codes, the check engine light wasn't flashing, and I didn't have the collection of warning lights that appeared when I picked the truck up. I was later told that new codes appeared during the post-repair test drive and that cylinder #6 was leaking pressure and misfiring. I understand mechanical issues can surface at any time, and I'm not suggesting anyone caused the problem. What frustrated me was the lack of communication and documentation around what was found. After the first day, getting updates became difficult. Abel was responsive initially, but once he was out of the office, I couldn't get answers from anyone else and was essentially told to wait until he returned. I also asked for help getting connected with Marco in Used Cars because, at this point, investing even more money into the truck doesn't make sense. I was hoping to keep doing business with the dealership and explore a trade-in, but I never received any follow-up on that request. When I picked the truck up, I asked for documentation of the new codes and diagnostic findings so I could share them with another mechanic or dealership if needed. I was told the dealership is "basically paperless" and there wasn't anything available to provide. I was told someone would follow up, but I still haven't received anything. They sent me home with a collapsed cylinder that was working when I dropped the truck off.
