Stopped in for a quick bite on our way back home. Surprised for a little popup bbq in the back and it was good. They had a good handful of sides available as well. Also try the sampler platter w/ chicken tenders, poppers, fried pickles and waffle fries. Wish the waffle fries were better seasoned, but the homemade ranch helped fill the gap. The ranch is a little thicker, but it was a good homemade ranch. Service was good as well. No complaints. read more

BEST BURGER! I thoroughly enjoyed the pretzel bun olive burger with its delicious homemade olive sauce. I added lettuce and tomato. The regular burger with lettuce and tomato was juicy and also done to perfection. THE SCRUMPTIOUS FRIES WERE A MOUTH EXPERIENCE! Crunchy on the outside.. Yummy on the inside. Nice little local bar and restaurant. They do BBQ on Saturdays. I had the burger which was cooked well and nice and juicy. I had some subs and additions and the burger was 98% correct (cheese was wrong) but that's on me for being to particular. Staff was awesome and always so friendly. We stop in here at least once ever weekend we make it back some times more. Need to try the BBQ next time it looked and smelled amazing. read more

We lived in Leslie for five years before we finally decided to give Crossroads a look. Once we tried it, we were hooked. The exterior and the front room give it a serious "dive" feel and the facilities could use an upgrade, but the guys in the kitchen know what they're doing. Kids night ($1 kids meals) is Monday and craft burger night (El Conquistador will rock your socks) is Thursday night. I'm a big believer in the Buffalo Chicken wrap. I tried their Detroit-style coney dog this afternoon and was disappointed to be served a Flint-style dog, but the dog was still pretty good. Crossroads is a great place to hang out and catch a game. Their Michigan sports-themed back room included a massive projection screen and lots of Tigers, Lions, U of M and MSU memorabilia. Take out or eat in, Crossroads is a must try. read more

I ordered the smokehouse burger with a pretzel bun with fries and oh my gosh it was good, my burger was a perfect medium and my fries were really crispy, ordering was fast and appetizers came out fast as well, their wings are nothing out of the ordinary but a down side is that we had to use ketchup packets instead of a bottle other than that service is amazing and food was very delicious read more

This place has great food and great staff my only complaints is that it could be soo much more. Its got the room to accommodate live music andd would pack people in if it did. It also closes way too early for being the only place in town. Place is basically a resturant with an underused liquor liecense and a huge empty back room with dance floor and room for a stage. read more

Passing through the beautiful downtown of Leslie Michigan I stopped at Crossroads Bar and Grill for some lunch. What a perfect little bar! Had the patty melt and it was grilled to perfection; owners Greg and Nick have their priorities straight with using Meridorf Meats as their mainstay beef n' chicken vendor. Brilliant draft selection and just the right amount of TVs for us sports junkies! Traveling 127 and decided to drive into Leslie. for a meal. The town was lit up for Christmas. We parked on the main Street and got out. I felt like I was in a Hallmark Christmas movie. We went into Crossroads and sat down. We we're greeted immediately and served drinks. The meals came quickly. We enjoyed an Italian Panini and a Wet Burrito. Both were delicious. Had enough to take home. We we're very happy about our Leslie-Crossroads experience. read more

Everything is great about this bar... The food, the ambience, pool tables and televisions... They claim to have one of the best hamburgers in the state, they do! Only problem with this place is that it is not in my hometown of Grand Rapids! read more

We stopped here during a trip downstate, trusting that our fellow Yelpers would not lead us astray. And you were right -- excellent food and friendly service. The bar, which from the outside looks like a typical small- town workingman' s tavern, was packed when we visited, with customers of all ages, stages and socioeconomic categories...our first indicator that this was a great local eat spot. Our burgers (a turkey burger with pepper jack cheese, guacamole and chipotle mayo, and a Blackhawk burger, named after the local high school mascot, topped with ham, pepper jack and bacon) were delicious -- excellent quality meats, juicy burgers. They came with crunchy brown house chips. We also enjoyed our gin-and-tonics, especially after we saw how inexpensive they were, even after we upgraded to premium gin. Our waitress, who also helped tend bar, was terrific, even as the bar was getting slammed by dinnertime customers. And, again, prices were more than reasonable. This bar is well worth exiting the freeway for if you' re traveling US 127 near Lansing. read more

I had to pick someone up in Leslie and was early so I had a couple of hours to burn. I decided to stop in here and grab a quick bite to eat. The place appeared to be fairly clean. As I walked in I was greeted by two attractive female bartenders/servers who were extremely friendly so I decided to pop on down at the bar. The menu consisted of quite a variety. From the typical bar fare of burgers and fries to Meixcan to paninis. They also had a "Detroit" style coney on the menu that I was tempted to try but I passed. I ordered a Cuban panini and waffle fries. The sandwich was decent and it was accompanied by curly fries. I'm not sure if the cook just messed up or if curly fries are what they consider waffle fries but either way it was no big deal and the meal was above average. They also had a small salad bar setup that looked fresh although I did not eat anything off it. The two bartenders were very friendly so I stayed and had a few drinks. They had a decent variety of liquors for a small town bar and if memory serves me correctly 6 beers on tap. They also had 3 big screen tvs at the bar to watch the games. Overall I felt the meal was decent and the environment was cozy. The prices were extremely reasonable. I'd recommend it to people that are traveling through Leslie. read more

This little bar has pretty good bar food, definitely a step above the average. The salad bar has always been fresh and the soup is tasty and appears to be home made. We've tried a variety of dishes and they run good. Steak and burgers are generally done correctly - occassionally over done but less so than most bars. Staff are friendly and usually fairly speedy. And lastly, the beer selection is pretty decent. Haven't counted, but they have at least a couple micro brews on tap. read more
