I rode in half expectin' a little more alien flair maybe a green fella slingin' hash behind the counter but that ain't the hand they deal. What you do get is a clean joint, friendly service, and a plate that shows up honest and hot. That patty melt? Solid. Crispy, greasy in the right way, and worth the stop. Breakfast holds its own too eggs done right, no nonsense, just good fuel for the road. And for the record, the whole UFO business traces back to the Roswell Incident, which actually went down a ways outside of town but Roswell's been carryin' that legend ever since. End of the day, Cowboy Cafe ain't about gimmicks it's about doin' simple food right. Clean place, good service, strong local backing. Not quite outta this world... but a dependable stop all the same.

Pulled over to get a coffee before long shift. Super cute and clean. Young girl at counter was very friendly and nice when I took a little extra time trying to figure out what I wanted. On the large board behind the counter was the special drinks and food for the month of February. I decided to get a chocolate cherry iced latte with white chocolate instead of milk or dark. I also got the white chocolate strawberry scone. The scone came warmed , it was so good I should have gotten 2 of them. My iced drink was good, even with swapping out of white chocolate it was tasty but a bit on the sweet side. They also have milk alternatives, I got oatmilk. I like that they use paper cups to help with the over use of plastic cups and not a lot of places to recycle them.

The second you walk in, you know this is the coffee spot in town. The music, lighting, people, and overall energy made it clear why it was packed. Aliens everywhere, local art and curiosities lining the walls, and that effortlessly cool, eclectic vibe where you don't know where to look first--but in the best way. The food and drink held up just as well. Coffee and teas were solid, with a local tea vendor on site doing samples and selling loose-leaf blends, which was such a great touch. I had a vegan hummus salad that was genuinely good, plus some food bites, while my husband loved his burrito. I also stumbled upon handmade origami earrings (cranes and roses!) that I was obsessed with, along with books, swag, and random treasures--at one point I picked up a Japanese art book I would've bought instantly if it had been for sale. And just when you think you've seen it all, the space keeps going: a wine lounge in the back, a roasting operation, more rooms to explore. Huge credit to the staff--only a handful of employees holding down a nonstop crowd, all with great energy. If you're passing through New Mexico, even if Roswell is slightly out of the way, Stellar Coffee is absolutely worth the stop. The hidden wine lounge with speakeasy vibes is named Interstellar - SO CUTE !!

Service was great and I loved our waitress, she was super friendly and made sure our coffees were full and our meal was good. This was our first meal at Roswell and it was SO good for a small-town breakfast cafe. It was also our first daytime experience with the touristy Alien decor via their window painting. Breakfast Quesadilla: With hashbrowns and beans. My friend loved this and destroyed it. I tried a quesadilla and it tasted amazing. Carne Asada: I got this plate and just based on the high quality of the rice and beans I knew the meat would be good. The rice and beans were seriously some of the best I've had in awhile and when the tortilla came in its own container I knew the meat and tortilla would be amazing as well. This was a decadent breakfast for me and tasted great.

We have had food from many different countries around the Mediterranean and like all restaurants some are good and some not so good. Sara's is perhaps the best I have eaten anywhere. For starts the service, our server Josh was excellent. He was courteous, he was attentive and asked all the right questions. We ordered a combination appetizer tray, lentil soup, a tabouleh salad and an entrée. The appetizer came out with hot pita which was excellent. Both the lentil soup and the tabouleh salad were among the best I have ever had. The baba ganoush, the falafels and the dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) were all three among the best I have ever had. Often fried falafels are coarse and dry but these were moist, tender and flavorful. The tahini dipping sauce was excellent as well. My wife's combination kafta (chicken and beef) came with the supreme rice which was also excellent. The ambience was very clean and modern as was the music fascinating and lively. Across the board, everything was excellent. We chatted a good bit with one of the owners who told us that all the cuisine represented generations of family recipes. All this, in what I consider one of the least likely of places; Roswell, New Mexico. If you are in Roswell and you like good food, Sara's is a can't miss restaurant. Bravo, Sara's.

Have I had better Mediterranean food in other cities and even in the Mediterranean? Absolutely! But for the little town of Roswell, this is pretty impressive cuisine and an excellent choice for dinner!

There is spacious outdoor seating and a small amount of indoor seating. You order right through the front door where friendly staff handed us menus so we could choose what we wanted before going to the front. Breakfast Burrito: I loved the size of this, it wasn't too big and the ingredients were well spaced and proportioned. Sausage, egg, potato, and pico with a slice of orange for plating. Coffees: Normal drip coffee that comes burning hot, kept the lid off and it stayed hot for a very long time. Breakfast Bagel: Also a good size. Same ingredients as the burrito and tasted OK. Just be careful as this is not what I would refer to as a pedestrian-friendly town. This place gets packed inside... A bit claustrophobic at the register. Order and pay right away inside the cafe up the stairs to the large porch. Sorry, I didn't check for a ramp or how mobile-friendly the place is, but inside it was rather crammed with minimal seats and tables. We sat outside under the large canopy. After about 5 minutes, our food was brought out to us. My youngest daughter wolfed down her relatively large bacon/cheese/egg burrito. A small iced mocha latte made her happy. My oldest girl ordered an egg bowl. She was not happy that the green chile was on the hot side. Her sister and I sometimes wonder if she's really related to us. Lol. Small hot chocolate. I opted for the special: biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were large and fluffy with really fantastic cream gravy with spicy sausage. I was in Heaven. Especially since I didn't have to clean the kitchen. My medium vanilla latte was alright. Altogether our meals came out to $43.60 with a tip included on 10.4.2025. This was a nice portion of food with a good amount of flavor in each dish. The beef enchilada was probably the best item out of the three - well seasoned beef in a tortilla, covered with good chile sauce. The service was just okay - it seemed like we were almost inconveniencing our server, but at least the host was friendly. Despite being fairly empty, it did take a little while for our food to arrive. A little bit less common yet, we find restaurants that provide this space over a long period of time. Martin's Capitol Cafe would be such. We ordered a tamale, carne adovada and a chimichanga. The chimichanga wasn't deep fried but pan fried, which was not common and already a red flag. We got our food and it was just OK. The chips and salsa were good, but the food was OK. My portion was also small, and the rice was a bit dry. Maybe we ordered wrong... The restaurant is also a bit well worn. It adds charm but I think charm that is not backed up with good food is like a band-aid over a bleeding wound.
