I cannot say enough good things about Chris and his crew at Rello…read more We had a bind due to a pervious contractor we had to let go. Chris was able to come in on relatively short notice, and get to work. It is not just the promptness that led to our satisfaction, and being able to work with us on a time crunch (although this alone would have been wonderful!), but the quality of the work. Our new kitchen looks truly amazing. He did not just install everything, but went above and beyond to make sure it was done perfect. He did all walls, cabinet install, floors, finish work, and more. Even the counter installers (a different company) commented at how great his work was, with everything perfectly level so they didnt have to do any addition work. The quality was amazing, the price was great, and the work was done quick, and without issue. He got all the proper building permits, had all the correct inspections, and did everything by the book. I cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking for work done. We have an amazing kitchen to enjoy now - all thanks to him!

They made time promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, and they replaced all that old hardboard with James Hardie Fiber Cement siding, which is understandably pricier than some other options we could have gotten, but look at that result! And JC was great with the consultation and so knowledgeable, and Adam was a doting project lead that always encouraged us to reach out with questions, and the co-owner, Erika, emailed a few times to make sure everything was up to our standards. Great communication throughout, and a great result quickly!

Pat and his team helped us renovate our basement that included a 1/2 bath, wet bar, media room/game room, along with new windows and doors. From the beginning the entire team was fantastic and clear communicators. We always knew where we were in the project, who was scheduled to arrive and if there were any issues, delays, or decisions that needed to be made. Every member of the team, including sub-contractors, were always prompt and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had, no matter how small. They made it a priority to help us feel very involved throughout the whole project by listening to our ideas as the project progressed. In the end, the project was not only completed on budget, but it turned out exactly as we had hoped and envisioned and we would absolutely love to work with Pat and his team again in the future.

The employees were all very professional and knowledgeable. They talked me through all of the issues that could be addressed to make my home more energy efficient and the steps needed to be prepared for the installation. They photographed all areas that were inspected before and after installation. They took care of all logistics and financial coordination of the program and laid it out for me in their co-construct website. They did a great job installing insulation in my basement and attic along with upgraded ducting as required. I paid half of the cost up front and the rest after completion. The whole process was relatively easy. I do wish that the co-construct website would go to a read only mode to access and review documentation, at least for a period of time after the work is complete, so I recommend downloading all materials while you have access. Turn cycle solutions was great to work with and I would be happy to work with them again in the future.

We cannot recommend TJO Contracting enough! We had 3 separate phases of our project and TJO…read morecompleted all of it! Tim and his team were meticulous in their craftsmanship. The first phase: a full gut of our house built in 1900. Removing walls, adding/moving bathrooms, leveling floors, replacement windows throughout, and rebuilding the staircase. Our home is now a modern wonder and we love it. The second phase was to restore the front porch to look similar to its original look, re-side the whole house, and add corbels to the roof-line. It looks beautiful and is a definite statement and conversation starter for our neighborhood! The final phase was removing the lead paint on a built-in cabinet so we could refinish it. Not only was it sanded down to the beautiful wood but they were able to find the hardware had amazing details in them! TJO kept on schedule, stayed in constant communication, and came in on budget. TJO Contracting was exactly what we needed! We give Tim and TJO our highest recommendation to anyone looking for a general contractor!

Barrowclough came highly recommended, especially Paul Newman. I had seen his work at a couple…read morehomes. It was perfect. When it was time for us to do a major renovation, we invited them to give us a quote with other contractors. We ultimately chose them, although they were not the lowest quote. We chose to leave our home during construction to give them freedom to do their thing. Not only did Paul work quickly and efficiently, but during the job, he called frequently to keep me updated, and he came up with ideas to make the space more usable and modern. Rather than keep 2 old fashioned pantries, he had an idea to pull off the doors and order cabinet frames and doors and extend the kitchen into the hallway. He pulled out the insides and reengineered them to our custom specs. The result was that for minimal cost (hundreds of dollars) we got much more functionality and efficiency. We ended up adding to the kitchen and dining room job. What did we add? We removed popcorn ceiling, painted hallways and stairwell, painted master bath and bedroom, redid two upstairs bathrooms and more. We came home to a new house in April 2021 just as covid is (hopefully) winding down. What a gift Paul is. I'm happy to show the work that Paul and his crew did. He employs the best subcontractors and partners with them to ensure they are working together well. You can't go wrong with Paul and Barrowclough. Paul is a master carpenter.

We had an excellent experience with Tom Barrowclough Contracting on our recent home renovations…read more Tom met with us promptly after I called to request an appointment for a quote. Our project included a new roof, siding and all new windows. Tom delivered our detailed quote within a week or so. Our project started mid July 2018 and was completed last week. We were informed by Tom that the foreman, Paul Newman and crew would arrive at 7:00 am on a Monday morning, which did happen. Going forward Paul was in communication with us daily informing us of the next days schedule. All coordinating of product delivery, plumber, electrician, plasterer were under his supervision. There were no delays even with the August extreme heat. The crew of 3 were courteous and worked consistently through out the day. All materials were cleaned up at the end of the day. We requested some additional projects and the crew all worked together and made it happen. This included painting all the new window trim and a few rooms and ceilings. What impressed us the most, beside the quality of work, was that the Barrowclough team took our project and ran with it while consulting with us if needed. We would rate our experience as 5 stars and will use Tom Barrowclough for our next home project. Pat and John Dunn

We moved into our condo in 2021 and had replaced the old and rotting planks with composite soon…read moreafter we moved in; however, we were most interested in revitalizing the roof deck altogether - the railing and posts were rotted and had peeling paint, and we had minimal privacy when hosting friends and family. After speaking with several contractors, we were fortunate enough to find Leo, who gave the roof deck a complete facelift! We initially hired Leo to update the siding of our top deck and replace the door leading to the bottom deck. During our first consultation meeting with him, he had brainstormed many design concepts and ideas we had not even thought of that we ultimately went with - we highly appreciated the creativity and effort to make our image a reality. He was incredibly communicative, and we really felt like we were working as a team. We ended up having him replace the railing of our upper deck and added a privacy wall with a beautiful design. He handcrafted the railing and involved us in every step of the design process. He also replaced rotting wood that was exposed beneath the siding, fixed a broken outlet, and completely replaced a rotting window frame. He also put in place LED light strips beneath the railing to create a sense of ambience we didn't even realize we were looking for! Leo was always very transparent with the timing of each phase of this project as well as any associated costs. Leo went above and beyond and returned twice after our final payment to add some minor touch ups to ensure the deck was as picture-perfect as can be! We have many upcoming projects in our new home and hope to work with Leo on all of them. We have already begun brainstorming together what we can do with our bottom deck. We would recommend Leo a thousand times over and are looking forward to collaborating with him again!
