I also picked Jon because he has carpentry skills and does furniture assembly, he also has expertise in other handyman projects. He was good enough to call me this morning and tell me he was running a little late, I told him that was fine because I overslept this morning. So it all worked out. I bought 3 different pairs of legs from Amazon to replace the legs on my cabinet. 2 were metal and 1 pair was wood. I did have my favorite ones which was metal. I showed all 3 sets to Jon and he agreed with me that my favorite ones was the best way to go. I was amazed that Jon was able to pick up my cabinet and gently placed it on the floor to replace the legs. He knew exactly what he was doing and removed the old original legs and replaced them with the newer legs. It didn't take him long to replace the legs. Jon made sure that the new legs was firmly secured before he lifted it back up and placed back against the wall. The new legs look fantastic and will hold the weight after I put all the wine bottle's back in place and everything in the drawers and into the cabinet. Jon also did a small project for me that is outside my house. Last year our snowplow driver in our community detroyed the trim outside my garage door. Jon took a screw and drilled it back into place, which worked perfectly. Jon is professional, polite and knows how to fix a problem. I definately recommend him and will hire him again. James has been wonderful during the entire process. He installed the cabinets so perfectly plumb that the quartz countertop installers were done in a little more than an hour. They said it was a quick easy job because the cabinets needed no shimming or leveling. The cabinets look beautiful, the hardware is perfectly placed everything looks amazing. He also handled all of the plumbing changes that had to be made. There were many problems and supply issues with the cabinetry from the kitchen designer ordering the wrong cabinets to his ordering the wrong size. James came up with workable solutions to all the problems that we encountered, including one that would make putting the original crown molding in the design against the ceiling as I wanted, it wasn't easy but he managed it beautifully. The solution involved adding an additional molding between the cabinets and the crown molding. It turned out beautifully. As James encountered problem after problem, he explained every step of the way, how each had to be handled, and what he would do to correct the problem to make the final kitchen perfect. He explained each step along the way and I had complete confidence that my kitchen would be wonderful. There was never an instance when James said "it's good enough", it wasn't, or "that will do", because it wouldn't. James was not satisfied until every stage of the project was perfect.
