I usually don't stick with a work out for longer than two weeks, yet here I am going on four months!!! I was scared I was going to be judged or that I wasn't "fit" enough to fit in, but ya know what? These people are my motivators and family. Sure I don't like it when a trainer notices I'm not giving it my all, but I do love their encouragement and how proud they make me feel about myself when I do push through and succeed....just like they knew I could. I come daily if I can / if I'm not too sore, but the workouts are the same across the country, no matter what location you're at that day. The trainers are just as lively, energizing and motivational across the board. They like to play more 90s music which I dig. Meridian seems much busier. More classes fill up, so I have to sign up for wait lists much more often. Luckily a lot of people drop, but sometimes it's last-last minute. Lehi gives you the option of where you want to start the workout when you check-in (treads, rowers, weight floor). Meridian does not. They usually tell you where you're assigned when you check-in. Meridian's studio has less room to do floor exercises by the rowers. You have to stagger or move away from other people to avoid running into people. I am always so thankful for the generous airflow that help keep everyone pushing forward. The workout is worth it, hands down. The facility is always clean, and the staff are friendly. I have never felt so strong and had this much endurance in my life = life-changer.

The floor size with both free weights and weight machines. The number of treadmills, steppers and ellipticals they seem to be in shorter supply than some of the other locations. More than at other gyms I visited though. Shower facilities are sporadic. They used to be spot-on all the time and I can only imagine they lost somebody good because the cleanliness has definitely gone downhill over the last year. Water from people using the pool is inevitable but there was somebody in mopping up the floors pretty regularly before now it's a rarity. Even during water class times. What these guys really need is a Palm Beach Tan inside this location!
