Hotworx is my sole gym preference. I love it!! My…read moreinteractions have been limited to Oklahoma locations, but I plan on visiting as many as I can. This location is a little sad paired to alot of the ones in Oklahoma. Clean for the most part. HUGE FX area. They have a lot of broken equipment. They have broken cycle and blast bikes. You can't adjust your workout in the blast...... The Cycle seats were broken and weren't even hotworx bikes. You can't turn the volume up on the videos. The staff are very friendly. Members seemed very rude. Overall didn't have a good time at this location. Wouldn't go back.

Basically, you go into an infrared sauna and a virtual instructor walks you through the entire workout! You have control of the temperature in your room. Technically, up to 3 people can be in a workout sauna at a time, but most people usually have the room alone or if there's multiple people, it's likely a pair of friends working out together! The staff is A M A Z I N G! They're very knowledgeable and are always super helpful! HOTWORX is technically a franchise, so they're scattered around the US - but of the few I've checked out, this location is my favorite! Memberships are also very affordable and you get 24/7 access!

I'm currently a new member at Orangetheory Fitness on MacArthur in OKC. The workouts are fun and…read morecoaches are great. My issue is with management's billing integrity. After completing the "free" first time workout studio manager Dennice offered me a discounted rate for healthcare professionals -- the low rate was the deciding factor in joining that day. Four days later, I was told the rate "didn't exist" and would not be honored. After escalating to the regional manager Andre, I was promised a $50 credit on my first month as a resolution. The credit was never applied. I've reached out to Dennice to correct the charge, and it remains unresolved. Being promised one rate, then charged another, and not receiving an agreed-upon adjustment is unacceptable. At this point I cannot recommend this studio.

However I feel like they don't fully explain how cancellation…read moreworks at all and what agreement you are signing! so it all comes to a surprise when I try to cancel. They make it impossible to cancel. Denise is just a horrible person with bad customer service! This is what she did: I notified that I wanted to cancel exactly 30 days in advance verbally! I spoke to her she said that I needed to come to sign paperwork in order to cancel my membership. I told her I could not go in that day because I was working. I told her I would go in a few days later to sign that paperwork. I go in several days later to "sign paperwork" for her to txt me the cancellation form that I had to do online anyway!!! Why couldn't she just send me that txt when we first spoke instead of having me go in there. Please make it make sense! All I had to do was fill out a cancellation request via txt!!??? Then she proceeds to tell me that since I didn't give that cancellation notice 30 days my membership wouldn't end until two months! I was so mad but I let it go! I then had a doctors appt where I had an X-ray done that showed I had a tear on my knee. I then told Denise hey I can't come in anymore so I really need to cancel that membership earlier since I have a tear and cannot work out. she then proceeds to tell me that I need a doctors note in order to cancel earlier. Got that doctors note and she tells me I need to go in person to give her that note which I did. Mind you, I work so it's really hard for me to be going in at that time. She then proceeds to tell me that she cannot accept that letter from the Dr because it does not have a length of time. So I ask her if that's all I need, a length of time she says yes. I then called back and spoke to Andre because something just didn't sit right with me. Please note Andre was very nice. I explain everything and He proceeds to explain that he will do this exception and cancel my membership earlier. And he explains to me that my doctors note was missing a signature from the doctor as well as their cancellation policies. So why did Denise not tell me that from the very beginning!? Was she going to tell me after I turned that second letter? Oh and she also tells me there is an agreement that I signed that is for 12 months! So careful people when signing up because if something happens with your health you cannot cancel if you are within that 12 month contract and you could only pause your membership unless your injury lasts more than your 12 month contract then you need a doctors note. That is what they failed to let me know when I fist signed up. Shady business practices! Please know what you are signing for and that was my mistake.

She is a great dance instructor, and I'm super jelly that Crunch has her and not LT. If you are at Crunch, and love to dance, check her out! You won't regret it! Now, onto the actual review of this location. I thought the color scheme and layout was a bit too much. There's just too many colors, and the layout of this gym is not aesthetically pleasing. I know most won't care about these things, but I am on the spectrum, and these things bother me and distract me a lot. As far as equipment goes, there's a lot of everything at this Crunch just like any other Crunch. However, this location is busy from morning to night just like the Edmond location. I feel like this one's even more busier though. So, it's not that comfortable to workout here. I did use the restroom during my visit so, I was able to checkout the ladies locker rooms and restrooms. They are located in the same area, and seem to be fairly clean. In conclusion, I thought the staff at this location was super professional and friendly. if you can't afford a nicer gym, this gym could be a good option if you primarily do cardio and weight lift, but reserving classes might be a challenge. If you're introverted like me, and don't like huge crowds.. this isn't the gym for you. I give this place an average review, because it's an average gym, nothing fancy, nothing special, just a regular gym that's super crowded.

I noticed one of my friends in San Antonio going to f45 through his posts on social media for the past two years and became intrigued, so I was happy when one of my best friends told me this past summer that f45 is opening in NW OKC!! My friend and I attended a couple of outdoor events in August and September promoting the new gym, and I was HOOKED!! I like that this team training gym already does the workout planning ahead for you with experienced trainers, and only 45 minutes long. Being a busy mom in grad school, this is probably all the time I can dedicate each day, but I still feel an amazing burn! Location: There is plenty of parking spaces, but when pulling out of your parking spot be careful, because it is a very busy area. Definitely pay attention to your surroundings! Trainers: I cannot say enough about how amazing the trainers are! Every one of them are extremely friendly. The owner, Charlie is from Dallas and was at the gym for the first week or so to welcome new members/people trying out the gym. Daniel, Brooke, Hayley, Ashley B., Ashley E. and Kara are so super friendly, welcoming, and motivating. I believe another trainer will be joining soon, Gerard. The workouts can get tough, but the trainer leading each session will help you if you find trouble with a workout or need an extra boost of encouragement. Workouts: This is team-based, circuit training style workout. Each workout is 45 minutes long, and you will leave the gym sweating and wake up the next morning a good sore! The gym is separated into different "Pods" and you will for example do 45 seconds of an exercise (e.g. barbell deadlifts), 20 seconds of rest, and then either move to the next exercise or repeat the same exercise. Every day varies on how the circuits are arranged and there are so many new and different types of workouts so your body gets a good range and variety or movements. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are cardio days, while Tuesdays and Thursdays are resistance/strength training days. Saturdays are 1 hour long and a combination of strength and cardio, while Sundays are resistance and I would say the "easiest" days..but you will nevertheless still get an amazing workout! I signed up for the membership early on so I got a little bit of a discount. Download the MINDBODY or f45 app to sign up for a membership and schedule your classes. You can try the gym for 7 days for free, and then do a $19 two week membership. If you decide to join, I believe the price is only $149 a month. It actually differs depending on which location you choose, but since I joined early...my total cost after taxes is $151 a month! Progress: I have seen SUCH a huge difference since joining only 2 months ago. I am 11 months postpartum and am still trying to lose the mommy belly, but I am slowly getting there and f45 is helping a TON. Join f45, you will NOT be disappointed!
