An hour or so after I book my class, I get a call from Kelcie who very rudely claims that I am not a member and I will be charged 40 dollars if I don't provide her with local mail on my arrival. Red flag #1 I called home to my local gym, and they assured me that all classes at all locations are included. I attended the class, and was charged a no show fee by kelcie to my card on file. After asking kelcie if this was ethical or legal, she had a full on meltdown and proceeded to tell me that it was "her gym, her rules." I think kelcie is confused at the fact that she just works there, and does not in fact own orange theory. Each location is individually owned, and allows for these kind of discriminatory, unscrupulous, and unethical practices to go unchecked. If you love orange theory, be sure to join a location that values your money and membership. Luckily for me, I am not local to this location.

It seems that since the new GYMS opened by One Fitness seems to get everything & this place can be their DUMP with poor management. I would Never bring a friend here to sign up. It's something better--it's a supportive, tight-knit community of fitness enthusiasts who show up for each other every day and push through an intense 45-minute to 1-hour session together. The trainers aren't celebrity icons, but that's the best part. They're real, down-to-earth people who are incredibly fit and deeply knowledgeable about what they do. They motivate, guide, and genuinely care about your progress. If you live in or around the area, joining Stage 3 is honestly a no-brainer. I've got a hectic work life, and this place has become my sanctuary. It's the one hour of the day where I can disconnect, challenge myself, and feel grounded. Big thumbs up from me. I pay over $300 a month for a membership, and one of the main reasons I chose this gym was access to the basketball courts. Unfortunately, the courts are unavailable Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM throughout the summer due to camp activities, yet members are still paying full membership rates with no discount or accommodation offered. For members who use the courts regularly, this removes a major part of what we're paying for. It feels unfair to eliminate access to a key amenity for an extended period while continuing to charge full price. I understand businesses want to run summer programs, but this situation seems focused on generating additional revenue at the expense of paying members. I raised these concerns with management and was told, "Sorry, nothing we can do." That response was disappointing and felt dismissive. For a gym at this price point, I expected better communication, better planning, or some effort to make things right for affected members. This was handled poorly.

One thing I've noticed is that the facility is constantly undergoing renovations. Since the beginning of this year, they have renovated the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and men's locker room, and now the women's locker room is being updated as well. While it's good to see continuous improvements, the ongoing construction can sometimes feel inconvenient and is a reminder that the facility is aging. My experiences with the staff have been mixed. Some employees are friendly and helpful, while others come across as less welcoming. One incident in particular left a disappointing impression. I accidentally left my phone at the Life Cafe table and realized it after I had already left the gym. When I returned, a young staff member asked to see my membership card. I explained that my membership information was on the phone I had left inside, but despite the obvious situation, he refused to let me enter without an ID. Even after explaining multiple times that I was simply trying to retrieve my phone, he continued insisting on identification. It felt like common sense and flexibility were missing in that moment. Another concern is the membership cost. I currently pay more than $180 per month, which is quite expensive. At that price point, I believe members naturally expect not only quality facilities but also consistently professional and understanding customer service. Despite these frustrations, I still appreciate the convenience of the location and the overall amenities the gym provides.

There's dust everywhere and it is a disaster. Used the tread mill today and 3 of them were not working. After the construction is complete it might be as nice as their location in Duluth. Just don't know when that will be. In the meantime, my workout ends if nature calls. Who wants to walk outside in the pouring rain during their work out to go to a port a potty?

Finding a gym away from home can be daunting when you're travelling, but the coaching here has been superb.
