While I still love F45's training model and the camaraderie of the people in my class, I am sorely disappointed with the turnover of the staff and trainers. Last September 2021, the gym was bought by new owners. It seemed evident from the beginning that they were more interested in profits than people. Whenever we get a great trainer, they get fired or quit. It's been a constant revolving door filled with empty promises. I go to the gym for good vibes and they're just not there anymore. PREVIOUSLY:Super friendly and knowledgable staff. The workouts are great and trainers keep you motivated and on track. Definitely never boring! I highly recommend for all fitness levels.

My only issue with it is most F45's offer a free class to try them out, but this one does not (franchise I assume). They only have a three classes in a week for $30 option, which I didn't take because I only planned on going the one time, so I paid a ridiculous amount of money to do the one class. In fact, I went there on opening day and they didn't have a free option then either. They should offer a free class to try out or a highly discounted one for first visit; like $10. Anyway overall I don't think it's worth it to pay $150-$250 per month, especially since I personally don't think people should be training that intensely every day. I also have undiagnosed ADD, so I've tried every workout concept imaginable (F45, CrossFit, orange theory, PIT fitness, immersion fitness, boot camps and the list goes on). BodyTek is the only one who keeps me gaining and guessing what's next! Class design: 45 mins to an hour with the particular class being either a total body workout or weights Wednesday (upper body or lower body). The total body workout will be a mix of upper and lower body stations with cardio and HIIT peppered in the stations. You have a certain time period to complete each workout in the station before moving to the next. I love this part of the concept because it makes me feel productive in moving towards the last station. The workouts are designed to burn fat, gain endurance, build strength and gain music. The amount of workouts they cram into an hour is unreal but the results are very real! I am a music aficionado and if boutique gym does not have good music they will never see my face again. This is nowhere near the case with bodytek. The music is dope every class and it motivates me to work harder. They even have speciality classes sometimes like Noche Latina ( all Latin music blazing while burning out your legs) and a post Christmas workout to burn my 5,000 calories consumed the day prior. The facility itself is like a family. The trainers are all amazing and are always making sure everyone has proper form so no Injuries occur. My favorite trainers are Vida, Francisco, and Santiago. All of them being such high energy to the class and make your butt kicking enjoyable! If you are looking to develop a new healthy habit in the new year give Bodytek a try. I was down in Florida in July 2025 for 2 1/2 weeks and wanted to try this place because it was new. So I bought a one month membership for myself and my wife and then asked to freeze the account until we come back down to Florida since we live in New Jersey. We did everything through a gentlemen named Mac who understood our situation that we wouldn't be coming back down until the next year. I got billed the next month accidentally and he refunded me and apologized. At that time I asked him to take my card off file. Fast forward to January and I've been getting billed the last 3 months after several phone calls with the owner and emails sent without a response. Today was the last straw as I called AGAIN to have my card removed and to be refunded. I mentioned that I'm going to have my bank reverse the charges and he started calling me a jack ass and saying why don't I come and say this to his face because he felt "threatened" and will sue me if I do it. I can't say enough awful things about the people here except for Mac who actually doesn't even work there anymore probably because he was nice. The fact that I asked several times for the card to be taken off file and it hasn't been is severely alarming. Anyone that is traveling and thinking about Joining beware. They told me something completely different than what the contract said. Stupid me for taking their word for it and not reviewing the contract. Not keeping your word says a lot about a business. You will definitely walk out sore in the best way. The open windows and natural lighting keep it from feeling like a dungeon, and honestly make you want to work out longer. I've been to a lot of gyms, and this one is absolutely top-tier. The staff is amazing too--there's a lady who walks around cleaning like it's her own home. The place is spotless. And the crowd? Only serious gym rats show up, which keeps the environment focused and legit. Those super low-cost gyms that take anyone just don't compare--they lose that true workout atmosphere. I love my gym!!!
