The new layout is terrible. They only have 4 recumbent bikes (one is out of order), the weight…read moremachines are placed awkwardly and there's not enough of them. People will just sit and scroll their phones while sitting on them. They have an area designed for stretching, an area for CrossFit activity and another one with big weights. The rest of the space is more big weights, a few weight machines, treads, a few regular bikes, steppers and ellipticals. If you have an injury and are forced to use only the recumbent bike and weight machines, you're out of luck. This is not the gym they once advertised.

The free weight area is very small - maybe 2-3 benches & minimal mirror space. They do have a wide range of free weights. The pool is nice. They have a slide. They have different sections of the pool. During the right time of day it is nicely shaded by the trees. The service is dependent on who you get. You have a great experience or an "alright" experience. Is this a facility that deals with a wide range of age - which is great in most cases. I did have on experience that was no pleasant in my opinion. I asked the front desk "Where is the women's locker room?" The guy followed that question with "How old are you? *laughs* 17?" I replied with "I am 20 years old & where is the women's locker room?" I feel like that was a rude & condescending comment. I asked where the women's locker room is. Not to be laughed at and assumed to be under 18. I think laughing at me and assuming I was under age was unnecessary. Instead if he thought I was underage he could have just said the women's locker room is .... and we also have a girls locker room here ... But for the most part this is a nice family friendly place!

Soon after going a few times, it became apparent that this club was actually really awful. The front desk people are fine, they're nice, The pool is vile, has no hot tub, the machines are ratty, stink like flop sweat, need repairs to the point of being a hazard and the WORST country music is being piped in 24/7. There are also BIBLE verses plastered on all of the walls. Im not that religion. Thank you for assuming I want to see that the whole time im there. That allready made most of the club unbearable. They lock you into a 12 month contract and when it's over they auto renew it without your consent or implicating that they will do so on the original contract which i think might be illegal. CHARLES, the manager is real piece of work, too. My card got compromised by my bank and we had to change it over to a new one. In the course of the 5 days it took to get that done, CHARLES decided to call and email me several times and threaten collections and lawyers. YEAH. SHURE. As my last month june came to an end, they auto renewed my membership and are now giving me a major hassle to refund JULY. TODAY is JULY 1st. They said i would have to wait 30 days to get an answer. Just because this club is located in this neighborhood does not make it good. IT sucks and I cannot recommend it enough. They close the pool down after Labor day, too, so more than half the year, your just paying full price for a garbage gym. Dont sign a contract here. GO literally anywhere else.

The class sizes are just right--not so big that you get lost or have difficulty seeing what the instructor is doing. Everyone I've encountered here has been absolutely lovely.
