Months after I had left and long after the time I paid for, this company still was withdrawing from my credit card. When I inquired about it I was met with unprofessional, rude and unhelpful comments from the owner. I would have considered using them again if he would have been reasonable but instead it was confrontational.

They have refused to provide insurance information and now we have to get the police involved. It has been 6 weeks so far and they're still stalling us. Their stalling is a tactic to allow time to pass so that they could claim that they are not responsible for the full extent of the damage they caused. Which they are. Truly disappointed in the company- I had been a big supporter and recommended to others. Other than the 5k in property damage, they were great.

This company essentially held my friends belongings for months, demanding more and more money for…read more'storage fees', even though they were the ones who kept having issues and kept not sending their items. This left my friend and her family without anything for nearly 5 months, with her kids sleeping on the floor, and completely unequipped for winter. This could have been handled in a much better way, with clear communication, rather then the endlessly misleading promises used as a way to extract more money over and above the agreed upon amount.

The moving and storage company that Tippet uses in Victoria (Hendra) took the pieces away to repair at the time of the move. I wrote a detailed letter to Tippet to inform them of the poor service and all the things that went wrong. THEY called ME to say I should put in a claim. I put together all the paper work and answered emails when they had questions. I was not informed that if I wanted to make a claim I would need to hold on to the items and not allow them to be repaired by Tippet. After supplying the receipt for one chair worth $2500 and website evaluations of the rest of the furniture I was offered $450 from the $10,000 I claimed (justly claimed, I'm not trying to beef up the prices). I was told that I should have had a professional assessor in to give a valuation of the furniture before they were taken away. I did mention that I wasn't given that opportunity, one piece didn't even come off the truck as it was dropped and damaged so they just took it. My grandmother's bridge lamp cannot be repaired. I have an antique cane backed settee that cannot be repaired. $450 is like a slap in the face. A huge disappointment doing business with this company and I chose them because I thought they had 95 years in the business and a good reputation. Do not do business with this company, they don't deserve your business.
